Thank you for your review. Yeah, you are right about the teleporting and the autonomously driving vehicles. Must have been an very early decision. I am very happy, that they introduced the complex traffic mode last year. That made it possible to allow a larger amount of private cars.
About some of the other points: The building that is with the lifespan of only 50 years is closer to the coal power plant. The coal powerplant is a biiiig poluter. Build a monitoring station, that'll display the pollution. Houses should be about 700 meters away from heavy industries. Light industry less than 400 might be acceptable. But be careful, there is also changing wind direction.
About the bus stop: The devs finally want to incorporate much more building from the workshop. In the workshop there is already a huge variety of buildings and vehicles, including a tiny bus stop.
About the suddenly changing happiness ... I'm not sure. When playing on hard citizens reactions: It doesn't need much to frustate them. Other reason might have been, that other people moved in with different happiness values. I thought I once saw a detailed happiness overview that explained more, but don't remember where to find it.

Hey, thank you for your comment!
Agree on building and pollution - mechanics is good and reasonable in itself, I believe it could be debated how quickly pollution impacts citizen health - in real life it takes years (unless some industrial disaster strikes).
My point here is - when playing the game I can only guess why lifespan or health or happiness has a certain value or why in several days a bunch people just disappear - no background information on that. One may argue in a real life you also have no indicators :) I would provide the same example of Crusader Kings 2 vs Crusader Kings 3 - tooltip changes improved playability, comfort level and removed the guesswork dramatically for me.
About buildings from steam workshop - yep, there are lot’s of beautiful creations there, I like smaller village buildings, hydro electric power plant and other, but in this review I was sticking to and commenting only available vanilla assets. Anyways I believe it is a great decision to take the best/most popular mods and enrich the base game or pack them in a form of a DLC!

Sounds actually good, but the teleporting seems like a dealbreaker. Why go all the lenght to make a simulation and then drop the ball just before the finish line..

Well it is a bit disappointing, but I got accustomed to this pretty quickly, most of other mechanics feel realistic.
