  • Is it worth starting a pressure washing business? Having run one for the last 7 years I would confidently say YES!
    Pressure washing is extremely profitable and although it is hard work, it is also incredibly rewarding and an activity you can do while listening to music and getting a tan. Enjoy this video where I walk you through a standard summer job cleaning a driveway in my neighborhood for Nolan's Pressure Washing. We'll start in the morning before even getting to the job and I'll share all the tips and tricks that I have learned over the years throughout the day.
    With a low startup cost and a ridiculous ability to scale, starting a pressure washing business is the perfect summer side hustle for students and a promising career path for contractors. Enjoy the video!

    lol i bonked my head washing my house last week on the top of the head left a nice welt doesn't feel to good either. I am about to start a pressure washing business myself been a painter for 30 years have arthritis in my knee I am making the switch because it's less labor intensive painting is much more physical work I know because typically houses need to be washed before painting. Anyway great vid

    Great video lots of good information especially for people that want to start out and maybe their own little business but I'm pretty sure even I can tell one of his jets are clogged up That's why when he's cleaning it and you can see it vibrating violently also when he tips it to the side and runs it there's only one jet spraying unless I model only has one but that just makes it extremely unsmooth

In this line of work time is money if you can cut a job by 30min to 1hr thats great. I really need to get those water cut offs attachments i get so annoyed having to walk back and forth to turn it off

    I have a question.. how do you get rid of puddles? Like if there is a dip in the driveway or just a lot of water? Do you blow dry it or use a broom or just let the sun do it?

    • @thecollegehustle2402
      @thecollegehustle2402  3 роки тому

      I do a mix of letting the sun dry it and using a broom if need be. I usually do the part of the driveway I think will puddle first so I don’t have to fight the water. Then at the end of the job I clear it out

    Hi im 17 and wanting to start a little buisness pressure washing. I have 400$ for a 3200 pressure washer at home depot (for a starter pressure washer) do you think its to late to start this year? or should i save it for a good sale on a better pressure washer?

    • @thecollegehustle2402
      @thecollegehustle2402  3 роки тому

      Good question… I would recommend buying the machine lightly used. You will get more psi and quality for your $400 and it shouldn’t effect it’s life span hardly at all. As for whether it’s too late to start, it really depends on how much business you want and where you live. If you live in a rainy area and you only want to work on weekends then it certainly isn’t too late!

  • @emmanuelperez4934

    if I let go of the trigger while the pressure washer is going will it damage it ?

    • @thecollegehustle2402
      @thecollegehustle2402  3 роки тому

      Good question. The water running through the machine is what cools the engine so it isn’t good to let it run without pulling the trigger for too long. The machine I’m using has a “turtle” setting though which lets the engine run really softly when you aren’t using it. I recommend doing that it turning the machine off if you aren’t going to pull the trigger for 1-2 minutes plus!
