When we first started and had very little budget, we had some door hangers and business cards. We would drive around on a Saturday and look for potential customers outside doing projects. These are great prospects. Just go talk to them. Walk up and hand them a card and open a conversation. Worst they can say is no. We literally got 2 jobs on our first day doing that. We also did the mass door hanger runs and never saw ANY fruit from that at all, so spend your money wisely. Oh yeah...stay away from Yelp ads and those companies that promise you that they can get you to the top of google. It's unnecessary and in most cases a waste of money. They come at you as soon as you file your business with the state. Good luck to everyone and go get that money!

I understand the door knocking thing that’s where I’ve gotten all my customers but it’s hard and very uncomfortable, but if you do it right it works!

I really like the idea of offering free services to people or offering very cheap services. I powerwashed one of my local churches for free and Ive generated so many leads.. I bet if you power washed all your local churches for free You'll probably Become popular in the whole area immediately

Appreciate this video, I’m gonna start doing power washing on the side here in a bit, I’m just trying to figure out how to do it in the winter months here in idaho, a lot of people shut their water off for the exterior (sprinkler systems, spigots, etc.) as it can get to -10° here and freeze pipes. So I’m not entirely sure how to go about this

I commented on a different video and you linked me to this one. Thanks for the quick reply! I do have a question though. I won't be able to start washing until I return from Air Force Field Training in early July. Should I start marketing first trying to pick up jobs for that month, or should I put my equipment on order and live on ramen until work (hopefully) picks up? This is the part I'm stuck on. I'll either be financing my rig or a truck to start so I don't have to liquidate any stock.

I’m getting ready to start my pressure washing business. Only thing I have is a pressure washer I got from Lowe’s & I was wondering what kind of chemical will be good to use on houses instead of me just using the standard soap stuff that you would get from Lowe’s. This is just a start up for me. I put that fear to the side & now I’m ready to take my business to the top. I already got my business name a LLC as well

I'm a veteran trying to start up my own pressure wash business. I really have experience when it comes what equipment to start with. I have about $2000 to start running.
Surprised no mention of Craigslist, Angie's list, or Find a pro. Interested in the billboard idea; sounds like a savage marketing plan to capture a region where you already have sustained leads because it's pricey.
Have you made that video with the bill board ad company? I would love to see that.

I bought your facebook ad strategy course and then after I made my first ad facebook just restricted my account from making ads
Got approached by the company that handles the monthly newsletter that goes out to 4 of the higher end neighborhoods in Baton Rouge and goodness were they proud of their page space for advertising. I'd have to go back in my notes to verify but I want to say I would have needed to get 8 houses to break even on their price.
How much was it?
