- Can you believe the BRIGHTNESS of this driveway?! I had high hopes but was not expecting it to be this good..
I have driven past this driveway (both actually) for months and have always wanted to clean it and see what it would look like after being jet washed. After a paid customer cancelled I thought, why not knock and clean this one for FREE?! I had nothing better to do that day :D
So glad I did, what a transformation.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed cleaning it, (apart from my hose breaking!) I love my job!

It's March already?!
⏰Time is flying by this year and that's another clean in the books. I have been working hard in the background to find even more free cleans and some paid jobs to film for the channel and have an absolutely epic sandstone patio ready for two weeks time. Just need to get a new hose for that one :D
For now though, please do enjoy this crazy paving driveway with some beautiful pattern work, and the🧱 thick grimey walls🧱! I had a blast on this one, despite some minor setbacks.

Whoever laid that drive was an artist ! Non of the mortar joints were degraded. Must have used waterproof mortar. Great job👍

Why do I find watching driveway cleaning so satisfying?
It’s sooo satisfying…I think, for me, I love watching something dirty become clean.
Because things we cant or wont do amaze us.
It's so satisfying to not have to do it myself and getting something clean and pretty is good for sure.

My son bought one a few years ago and told me how he got weirdly obsessed with it the first time he used it. Just couldn't stop power washing the siding on his house - so yes, one of those oddly satisfying things.
Not weird at all! I'm in highschool and I use my pressure washer to make a few extra bucks during the school year

You’re absolutely correct about not knowing the neighbors reaction to your cleaning their drive without prior knowledge. I’ve learned that mistake, doing something for someone thinking they’d be pleased and finding the complete opposite!
completely agree, boundaries are tricky. I do wonder at many of these 'surprise makeovers' - about the genuine reaction after the cameras are turned off.

All process vids are great but in pressing washing vids the before & after visuals are so stunning they have added appeal. Plus, I think we're inherently attracted to water. We spend the first 9 months of life in water, it seems natural to regard water as something good.

So glad you also cleaned that big rock! Looks a lot like our beautiful pink/grey Granite from our beloved Canadian Shield - but our granite doesn’t have as many linear cracks - some of the oldest Rock in Canada! The rock of the CDN Shield anchors the whole continent! My favourite area of Ontario & Quebec - you can experience it driving along Hwy 7 from Toronto to Ottawa. What a great job you’ve done - revealing the beauty of the brick & stone work on the driveway & sidewalls! I, too, love power-washing: siding & eavestroughs, soffit & fascia and windows & doors of house & concrete driveway & wheelchair ramp & porches & deck & walkways of our home! Very satisfying getting rid of mold & algae & tiny black tire bits from nearby Hwy’s, eh? ❤❤❤❤❤

@@diamondexteriorcleaning thanks Jake, I'm subscribed to many channels, covering a wide range of subjects, from homelessness to stealth camping to culvert clean outs to yard/garden makeovers to pressure washing to, well, you get the idea 😜, I watch a lot of UA-cam videos every day, though I do try to get out and do something, like yard work, or explore a little, mainly because I'm too old to be hired in a fast paced job and I'm too young to get social security/pension, a lot of the stupid stuff I did when I was younger has come to bite me on my arse, like arthritis, heart issues and the like, and to top it off, being six foot three inches tall and on the heavy side doesn't help matters, life has taken a toll on the body
"Rock!" Seriously though, this is such a calming thing to watch. I just had a rough day at work and this washed the stress away with the grime!
this is fascinating to me; I live in a very dry area of the rocky mountains and we don't get grime like this. Lots of dust, maybe clay, but not like this. So fun to watch.

I wondered if you would clean up the ROCK and low and behold, you DID! So many beautiful and unique driveways, sidewalks. and patios in your land. Wonderful when they are revealed again and a bit sad when they have been neglected. I do understand, though. Often folks get by only by doing their own labor, but time comes they can no longer. Sometimes the one who DID passes on. Sadly, those who cannot are very often unable to make ends meet. Thank you and those like yourself for setting better examples, but it is good to remember that far more prey on those who cannot, as if the lifetime that kept the roof over their head is any indication they have money stashed. Surely you have helped them rejoice in and count a blessing they already had, but could no longer see!

I work at a landscaping Company. We have boulder walls and retaining walls built on the property and we just cleaned them and a 20' tall by 150 ' long high wall cleaned. It's amazing how much dirt and mildew builds up.
Stunning stonework and brickwork looks like new! It was obviously laid by a true craftsman. Beautiful. Even the rock looks great with a fresh scrub. What a transformation! Excellent work. I wonder how long it took the next door neighbour to call and beg you to come and do his place too?🤣🤣🤣

Yep, you rocked it!! I was yelling at you to clean the rock on your first pass, lol. Love seeing the transformations from power washing, water sure is amazing!
That was a good view of what you started with...white lichen, black spot, moss on the brickwork, a greyed surface. 4:10, What an amazing Grime Line, the color contrast is very strong. Two views about 6:20, the "painting away" of the dirt and grime and how far you water splashes as you work, quite a ways into the neighbors place, through no fault of yours. That is someone's beautiful artwork in the original creation and you are reminding me of people who clean paintings and make them renewed. Walls can have a major impact on the beauty of a yard or neighborhood but you are right, this one has a lot of angles. Doing the neighbors side was a nice kindness. Was wondering if the rock would have renewed color if cleaned, it very much did brighten. Thanks. Good cope with scrubbing, the hypo is potentially more effective on Black Spot with that, so a double win for creativity and a good fix. I think you have the biggest Grime Line at the moment, with the contrast of the side-by-side driveways at 19:23. Cleaning the wall really made the property look good. The overhead shot was wonderful.

What a transformation. Once all the muck was cleaned off, all the details of the pavers just popped. Just can't understand why the original walls didn't use solid bricks for the caps. The holes are a bit unsightly. I was impressed that you even cleaned the big ROCK at the top. I would bet that you get most of the neighbors to do the same. Best wishes for a thriving business.
