I introduced my fiancé to Bananas Foster when I made it as a topping for Belgian Waffles for breakfast not long ago and she really loved it. I like to add butter-toasted pecans to mine.
Oh dear... why would he waste the last two tablespoonfuls of sauce?? But it was a very nice video... (Just can't believe it took me until now to look up Banana's Foster being made at the place of its birth!)
From experience working at a high end fine dining country club. We whipped these bad boys to the whole city!! Typically a captain of a team servers (which looks like the case in this video) makes the banana foster in front of the guests. It a cool experience because of the huge flame that draws attention and a splash of cinnamon adds a cool sparking affect. But anyways “servers” make this special treat not the chef (due to the attention creating it brings). We like to save just a little bit of the syrup created to have a taste for ourselves and for the chef to judge!
I like how smooth and polished/practiced all his motions were - no movement wasted. Though I thought it disrespectful to the Foster that he just put all the dirty dishes in the pan right after making a great presentation...
Looks delicious except “If I had wanted a thumb in my bananas foster, I would have ordered it that way”. That’s the difference between an ok restaurant and a great restaurant. A great restaurant trains their servers NOT to stick their fingers in your food. And THAT is why great restaurants put PLATES under their dessert dishes. SHEESH! The guy puts his thumbs in the customers food and the restaurant let’s him post it and 1) doesn’t make him take it down and 2) doesn’t FIRE HIM!
Ok we get it Colins
It's plural
“C-O-L-I-N. We’re ColinSS cause we’re part of the family.”
Im glad its not just me who is listening to the guy saying ok colin i got it
That guy should have given colins a reach around, sure sounded like he wanted too

Visited Brennan's a few years back and wow! What a wonderful dining experience! Food, staff and the bananas foster...the best!!!
We found it over rated. Never returned. Found a much better restaurant down the street with excellent food.
Mr Collins's information about the his family name and lineage was actually off.
C-O-L-I-N
*Bananas Colins*
Could have this for breakfast, lunch and dinner!😊❤
I was in New Orleans. I didnt get that made table side. Wow what a treat. Wish I had. Looks amazing. Dinner and a show! Wowza!
That was the most uncomfortable explanation of the Irish clans
I was very fortunate to go here with my parents 20 years ago and have the banana's foster made table side
NOICE!! Thanks for taking the time to shoot and post this video!
We get a culinary lesson AND an ancestory lesson!!!
I found the other conversation annoying.

Joy George agreed! Whyyyyy would he waste that yummy sauce 🤷🏼♀️

Best video I’ve seen in years. Pure theatre
Oooh the metal scrapping
Breakfast at Brennan's is a grand experience
The comments are so unnecessarily critical. The video was good.
Love the waste!! Give the rest of it to me no waste!
Wow! He is my husband’s twin!
Ok I have four different recipes for this now. 😎👍
It’s COLINs bro.
Plural

The voice in the background is uncle Remus
They sure skimp on the bananas
Looks delicious
Yummmm.
Enough Said!
It's as good as it looks!
what's this conversation in the background about?
Wow!!!
Less than a dollars worth of ingredients with a $20 cost I’m guessing
Well yeah, that's how businesses work. Looks well worth the experience to me.
Breakfast for two people 24 years ago was $97 and no refill on the tiny cup of coffee.
C. O. L. I. N. It’s COLINS C. O. L. I. N.
But how do you spell it
I didn't catch the spelling of his last name..
that really looks good!
This is why you shut up during recording! Enjoyed, TYVM!
My great great grandfather made that Paul blange
I like how smooth and polished/practiced all his motions were - no movement wasted.

I WANT THAT
I want this man!
Really went overboard with the bananas.
Great video, just wish the drunk in the background would shut up!

That ColiN guy stole the show, literally. Can you nisdering alwhat a thorough presenter the guy was starting off, I'm sure he was a hit annoyed.
with the ongoing could conversation, and to be reiterating numerous times of all things. I wonder how many times he’s heard that fun fact.
No cinnamon ?
There was cinnamon on top of the sugar
@@metalthrashingai2238 thanks ! I see that now ! It looks so yummy. It I quit sugar a couple years ago. ……
It must be good because they ran out of spatulas.
1:26 y’all come from the what 😳
4 pcs of banana cos u 40 dollar
Ok to splurge every now and then. They're paying for the
Experience.
The background conversation at the other table is annoying.
It wasn't flaming long enough! Wrong wrong wrong
$6.99...........🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I could have done without the back 😪 😒 story 😪 😢...
Maybe don’t have a loud conversation going on while trying to record a recipe. Couldn’t hear a single word that the man cooking was saying.
The least impressive Bananas Foster presentation that I’ve ever seen.
I don't like waste. I don't like background conversations. Takes away from the video altogether.
