1957 Chevy Belair sport coupe with 283 v8 and power glide options. Restored to factory original. If I had the money to buy a dream car, that would be it. It’s my Pawpaw’s dream car. Time is something we can’t get back. He had a 55 and a 56 when he was a teenager, but never a 57. To watch him and my Nana get into that car and head down the road would be a dream come true for them and me.

Mr. Pete...this will be the most unique dream car mentioned because if money was no option or I won a substantial lottery it would be an Indy Car ! 🏎
That's right...the one's they run on circuits except I would be found out on an Interstate (65) safely cruising past commuter cars just so the kids could see it &be utterly amazed !!

I worked at a Bentley/Lambo dealer which gave me the chances to drive most of the dream cars people have then, my family has always had hot rods and muscle cars. I have been a Mustang fan since I was a little kid. I went to an antique shop one time with my mother when I was young and I found old newspaper ads from the 60's and they were in really good shape. They had an ad for a 68' Fastback Mustang GT that she bought for me and framed it on my bedroom wall - I still think to this day it is one of the coolest cars to ever been made and since then I have been a huge Mustang fan. If I had to own my dream car, it would be a 2016-2020 Shelby GT 350. The sound and rawness of that car with the flat plane crank motor is the best thing I've ever heard. Every time I see one I envy it. Other priorities right now, but I hope some day I will own one, especially before gas powered vehicles are a thing of the past.

From middle school through college, I was a HUGE Porsche 911 fan. When I started working, I found the BMW Z3 and drooled over it. The 1 summer that I worked as a valet, after parking one, I went to the owner and told him just how much I loved his car. He told me to take it for a spin. OOOH BOY!!! On Ocean Drive in Newport, RI, I was in heaven!!!
Now that I've lived some life and struggled with money, I've come to the realization that cars like the ones that I've dreamt about just aren't practical when you've got debt and life to worry about.
BUT... if I ever could, I would love to have a 1970 or 1971 Mustang again, like we had when I was a young kid. My clearest memory of that car was when it caught fire, sitting in our driveway!!! BUT... I certainly would choose a different color. Pea soup green is NOT a good color on a Mustang!!! - God bless.
And if you ever need another GCI email correspondent, please let me know. Unlike when you were looking to expand the company to add that role a few years ago, I now have the WFH capability.

Love the channel Pete. I’ve learned a lot this year, having finally caught the Turf Nerd Fever. I’d love to have my ‘86 GMC Sierra single cab short bed truck back. Paid $500 of my grass cutting’ money when I turned 16, and spent the next 5yrs restoring. Sold it with zero rust for $1400 in 2003 during hard times and I’ve kicked myself ever since. But everything happens for a reason and I’ll never question Him.

Great video, Pete! My dream car would be the new C8 corvette. My family and I visited the corvette museum this past summer, and to see the sparkle in my 8 yr olds eye and see him so excited about a car gave me feeling I’ve never had. We are in the process of restoring my 75 c10 and hopefully one day, he’ll be able to drive it. Have a great weekend, Pete!
