@@benswolo8906 if you aren't being sarcastic, I'm 80% sure it's an old monstercat song from around 2014. I want to say it's a Stephen Walking song but I honestly can't remember
Thanks for the love on my submission (heard at 17:09) - this one definitely didn't come together until literally the last few minutes of the contest but come together it did. I can't NOT mention nathan's insane entry to this as well, impeccable vocals and a drop that really caught me off-guard.
As an apprentice, I would confuse my tradesmen regularly by recording turning and milling on the different CNCs. Made some cool samples serving my time as a fitter/turner.
This week was my favourite of all time and I think the production quality was super high; I loved the chord progression, the harmonics, and more chill vibe from this week!

Man, my mental health took a crazy sharp decline at the end of my day here, and I just want to say thank you so much for these videos. Now at the end of this I feel so much better, so thank you again, for just doing you and sharing it with us.
My wife and I watch your videos for dinner each time you come out with a video. We love how you make music then enjoy the music others have made during audio combat. Thanks for everything
I love these harmonic and tonal samples for the challenge. Just had to write an emotional score this time. 😄♥️ Nathan (winner of this episode) TOTALY killed it btw!
I know it's a fact clear as a daylight but I'm always amazed to see this big community come together and focus on a sample together, learning new things from each other and appreciating the good work.
The sample is grabbed from a CNC machine. CNC stands for Computerized Numerical Control, and essentially it's just a programmable milling machine that can mass produce metal, plastic, certain polymers, etc pieces. I'm a machinist and I also make music on the side, and this episode made me really geeked out
yo the winner actually got me to dance (mentally/metaphysically/whatever), I've never done that. Starting to wonder if 'music is healing' is a literal phrase by the things I've unlocked from listening to people's music
one of the best audio combats i’ve watched, some of those tracks could be made into full songs and would probably do well. alot of talent this AC it was sick
the bloke who won kinda giving me BVSSIC vibes, I like that 'melancholic vocal + a groovy midtempo drop' type of song, perfect music to walk to the job you hate on monday morning to
This reminds me of 2015 Monstercat stuff lol xD but what the actuall hell u do make everything sound so damn good like if someone gave u just a pure silence u would make such a banger what the idk ur the master
*CAN PEOPLE JUST STOP MAKING THEIR AWESOME SONGS PRIVATE?! LIKE OMG WTF IS UP WITH THAT?* Sorry, but there was so much great stuff sent in this time and i really want to listen to all of it at my leisure. I know you want it too.

A little known fact about Eliminate that most people don't know: He is a musician.
I dont think so...
I just know he eliminatess.
now you're trolling, i heard Nate knows a dubstep guy tho
Huh, i never knew that, i've always thought he was a tractor driver
How
wow how did nate manage to come up with that beautiful totally original melody in the outro of the song.
idk it's so impressive
Where is it from? I searched it and didn’t found it

I agree, there were lots of great submissions! For many of them, a minute seemed way too short.
The submissions are so fire this time especially, the first few blew my mind.
I love that the sample is a sound I hear everyday! As a machinist this pleases me.

The "I Remember" bit made me feel super nostalgic and then when he played it with the fart sound effects I started cackling
Loved this sample! It sparked an awesome idea that I'm now working on releasing, and will be my first time collab'ing and working with a vocalist
