Reset the DME adaptations! Must be done to erase how the system has adapted to the previous manifold, so it can adapt to the new manifold's behavior from scratch. Factory instructions are to reset, then idle for ten seconds, then shut off. They don't say this next step, but right after that, do some hard highway driving winding out in a few gears, and drive generally on the gas a lot over the first tankful. Its amazing how hardly anyone ever says to do it, but should be the first step after any engine performance mod. Btw did you measure intake MAF flow before and after? 1/2 the percentage of MAF flow increase is ~ the power increase at any given RPM.

I've got an N51 & N52. When I swapped out the starter I noticed on the N52 there were 2 plugs just hanging out with a couple clips holding them just off the manifold. Now I know what they are! Confirmed they are actually used on the SULEV N51. Nice little AHA moment.

I ordered mine few months ago for my 06 325 xi .do this charcoal filter delete air scoops and a sprint booster plugs and new coils and it's more then enough for a daliy. No light's nothing not tuned yet.
I’m learning more about my 06 330xi xdrive each day. I have the metal valve cover with the 3 stage manifold with the single port with DISA valves. Right now I had finish up with the new CCV replacement but I have the P0171 and P0174 codes. Not air leaks so hopefully now after I get my new MAF in it fixes my codes for running lean. Otherwise I don’t know if it’s something else. Only things left to replace that’s new and OEM replacements would be the VANOs and IGN coils. I get some sputtering while under load which I know could be like 5 things but I guess this car will be fresh lol.
I have done some research of my own and I figured I need to replace actual header to Euro spec. And intake as you did. And exhaust manifold. And of course Euro coding. Have you confirmed that you have gain extra HP with Dyno. If you can confirm that it would be great!!

put in some headers, milvs ive got the 3 stage intake manifold stock amd i could make about 250whp at least ide think and hope so maybe a little less 240 more than likely

Hey Nathan on my e90 325i there’s a crankcase v vent valve (a pressure regulator) will I need to swap that over on to the new manifold or will i need that new breather hose on there
where do i get my flash and software to program ecu i have a 2006 325i e90 cat delete new germn performance headers 3 stage dual disa engine has 76,000 on it i have origional ecu but need o delete cat and program it for best performance
I wouldn’t honestly recommend boosting n52 they don’t handle boost that well I mean you prob upgrade some internals to forged internals even then it still won’t be able to handle much boost
I got a 3 stage manifold off a 06 330 with a blown engine (free). However there are some things wrong with it. All the wires to the DISA valves and side terminals have been cut, the manifold had a good amount of oil in it, and I have no idea what connects to the spade connectors mounted to the side of the manifold. I have a pic but can't post it obviously. If anyone could offer some assistance on wiring this I'd appreciate it.

I was really excited to find this video but after watching the whole video and searching your channel I could not find any follow up videos that showed the end results.. I'm glad you are making loads of money on UA-cam but making a video that leaves viewers wondering what the fix was and the end results is a huge waste of time.. you failed to make the car run correctly and never posted a follow up video... to me that is a huge fail. They have been replaced. It’s a 6 speed, I wanna put a m5 lsd in the rear and then maybe some NOS for power instead of supercharger. Then a LS once the engine goes. But any upgrades to keep the engine as healthy as can be or better?
I just bought an 07 530 last week. The badge in the back says 530ix but my insurance says it’s 530i based of the VIN. How can I be certain that mine is 530i?
this is for the e90 series and e60. your 2005 is an e46. The e46 330i did have a manifold with a single DISA. Nate or Dean please correct me if I'm wrong.

Have you checked Bimmerlabs.com they have a free tune that you download yourself, it’s a stock tune from 530i US model that will work with your car .

PCV heater on the manifold can catch fire and burn the car to the ground. I have seen one melt but not catch fire. There is a recall for this.
