Clever using the UV resin! Your video (like the others about the LP4) are timely for me. Mine is finally arriving on Tuesday! In trying to figure this out for myself, my challenge was that I don’t have any good place to run a vent to the outside. So I opted for a small air purifier system with a 3 stage filter that I hope is going to work well enough so I don’t get poisoned. LOL I loved your shoebox solution-you are wonderfully creative. :)

I did order the laser pecker filter but mostly for doing it in places other than my shop. That said the #1 solution is always to vent outside so even if you had to build something to put in a window using a fan like I made and a piece of wood with a hole that you could just bring the window down on while using is far better solution than trying to filter the air clean.

So far the only horrible things for me were plastic. Metal not bad ,wood lots of smoke but smells ok but since doing this vent fan I get nothing it literally sucks every thing out so if there’s any way you can figure something like this out I would do it getting poisoned 🤢 would definitely not be fun

I purchased the Laser Pecker 2 and have been looking for a solution and yours seem to be the best I've found. I was beginning to hate that I purchased it until seeing your video, I think I can build this by myself. I've been unable to use the laser pecker because it is very cold where I live and lasering inside without filtering isn't an option for me. Everything I read suggest it is very dangerous (health wise) to not filter/exhaust this unit. Only thing is, I have to figure out what size tubing I need since I have the 2 and not the 4 which you are demonstrating here. Thank you for sharing.
I forgot to ask, did you ever receive your vent hood from Laser Pecker. If so, how is it working for you in comparison to this?
