Excellent video. For me,I have known this for a long while but it is not easy to do! I ALWAYS want to hit at that ball with my arms. When it finally clicked for me,was surprisingly with the driver. One thought now- my body turn slings my tension-free arms.It feels like my arms are miles behind. Thanks for the great golf instruction.
I've been needing exactly this. Thank you so much
Great video - you must have been watching me at the range the other night!
Hello
Really like and appreciate your UA-cam
Can you provide information on your net system
Where to buy???
Does your swing feel like your lead arm is tight on the chest (lead arm adduction) early in backswing or do you feel like it's away from it and gets adducted in transition? I'm asking because I can get that effortless feeling of the arm sling-shotting around the spine sometimes but I can't seem to ingrain it. I'm pretty sure my problem is still with the pivot but I also know that being at the wrong place at the top can cause the body to reactively stall to compensate. Just want to remove one variable. Thanks.
Can you clarify the backswing part of this? Should the arms be loose/off on the backswing, or do you build the structure to the top and then shut off before transition?
Does this work for driver also?
great video! Do you make a conscious effort to keep the left arm straight on the down swing or does that happen automatically?
Thanks! No conscious thought to keep the lead arm straight. If you have good width, the lead arms will stay straight 👍🏼
I hit on a trackman and was 16 in2out. Don’t suppose you have a tip for me?
Much like Fred Couples has that effortless look too doing that balanced rotation and gets his arms through the swing.
I believe removing effort from the hands and arms is the secret to ball striking but it only works if your core is moving correctly. If your core is moving incorrectly, you will be off plane which forces the use of hands to save the shot.
You will still need good sequencing, but this promotes good sequencing
When are we going to see you out on the golf course?
It’s still winter here in Scotland. I’ve already got a bunch of videos on my channel of me out on the course 👍🏼
How do I prevent coming over the top while doing/feeling nothing with my arms. Don't I need to get my trail elbow moving down to my hip? How do I do thát while switching off my arms?
The trail arm staying in front of the seam line in the backswing with good hip movement in transition will keep your trail elbow in front. I’ve got a video coming out next week about this 👍🏼
@@jchowngolf Thanks. Looking forward to it
power is in the arms not body
A lot of this is “free” if you simply lighten your grip, especially your right hand (as a righty)…
Great great vid apart from the stick into your bell loops. Didn't understand its role at all, sorry
Belt sorry. Not bell :)
Keeping tilt via the loops drill keeps the arms moving in front of the body and through impact whilst feeling nothing with the arms 👍🏼
We have to see/feel that the stick goes down at first ?
What size grip do you have on your clubs? They look very thick. Is this due to your disability, size of your hands or something you have developed to ease grip pressure?
They’re Jumbo Max mediums. All down to naturally loosening grip pressure and aiding a passive release 👍🏼
Thanks, I will investigate further.
🙂👍
Thanks bud!

Hope you are settling in in your new home/environment! Good health and prosperity for the future!Best regards. Milorad
At no point you explain what "switching the arms off" means. That's unfortunate.
For my swing, I usually like to spin my torso through. Good luck putting my tip into action
It means no feeling in the arms and them being purely reactive to the body sequence. I explained this multiple times in the video
lol. “ turning off the arms…” why not turn off your feet, knees, thighs, back, and eyes too?
Does this work for driver also?
Sure does 👍🏼
Thank You
