You removed the filter. Has nothing to do with water pressure. You had to remove the actual water restricter (the orange piece) to increase your water flow.
@@lindaanderson6323 See chapter titled 5:51 How to Remove the Filter. I stated it was the filter. Any object would impede water flow and say object removed would likely increase water flow. As I said, I didn't see a way to remove the orange piece. If you know how, please provide that useful information.

@@KimTownsel Search: Water pick, flow restrictor removal. You're a push of a pin away now! You're going to have SHOWERS now. I recommend the book, Back to Eden, concerning how to optimize SHOWERS. Way happy for you, you're going to love this.
4:22 the pivot ball can be loosened by unthreading the large grey groved nut out of the chrome plated bracket. The orange flow restrictor should be able to be removed from there too.
Thanks so much for the visual instructions. I bought the Waterpick Powerpulse today, came home, found your video and set mine up in minutes. Hurrah!! You saved me a great deal of time and possible frustration. I tried to fix my old shower head but the connections continued to leak even with pipe tape. Maybe city water does a number on the equipment and it is easier to go buy a new unit. Thanks again. Teresa in Ohio
I'm so glad that I happened upon this video. It is so nice to watch an instructional video that actually shows you how to do it. So many of the videos I watch have so much extraneous "fluff" in it Thank you so much and I am now a subscriber.
I love visual instructions and your video and audio were great 👍 Thanks to you and Waterpik’s design I installed mine today in about 2 to 3 minutes! I am disappointed with Waterpik for making me think that this device had a metal hose….it’s plastic. That was one of the main reasons I bought this model. This device works great, no leaks and was so easy to install.
Thanks mucho for this video. I could not get my old one off and I watched how you switched your hands and bingo, I got mine off. new one on. you rock!!
I have a Aquadance handheld shower head. Two extra reasons i got it are i fill up my portable washing machine in the tub with it and i can now spray the ties down when i clean!!!
I would prefer that it had a simple option for just spray without a pulse in the center but this Waterpik is far superior to the Oxygenics shower massage that I removed.
@@KimTownsel I'm getting it mainly for the massage mode; that rinses the soap off of me the quickest and feels nice on my back. I have a peerless now that has that mode but it only works when it wants to lol
I really cannot thank you enough for this walk through and the amazing tip you gave about removing the white filter. I was badly struggling to screw the ball and also with the water flow and then tried without the filter and it worked wonders. Thank You so very much for this excellent tip
I removed BOTH water restrictors . You gotta use a wrench on that gray part that’s connected to the mount/hose connector. This will take apart the whole pivot ball. Where your thumb is at 4:20:00. Then you can get that red one out too
I HATE LOW PRESSURE SHOWERS. Thanks for showing the "low" dribbling water. Now I won't waste my money on this one. I'm looking for a Good High pressure shower shower head. Time to keep looking.
I don't want to buy a new shower head for my new apt. I brought this from my old apt. So the ? is can you add a water filter for hard water? if so how? We have hard water sometimes depends on humidity and I hate the weak shower head the apt bldg provided.
@@TheAdultContemporaryMusicCh The water filter had no noticeable effect on the hard water. Neither my hair or skin felt better while using the water filter on the shower.
@@TheAdultContemporaryMusicCh I don't remember; that was years ago. It was a charcoal filter that was supposed to improve the water quality, if I recall correctly.
Hi Dr. Kim I hope you can answer me quickly. Thank you in advance. I bought mine today. Installation was pretty easy but I cannot slide the shower handle into the holder mount. It’s too large. I don’t know if I can expand it by pulling it apart, somewhat without breaking it, would I crack it if I tried to widen the holder?
I panicked because I thought the sane thing. The shower massager BARELY fits into the clamp. Mine looked as if it would be top heavy and break. Try placing it in by holding the shower head above the clamp and dropping it in from above. Mine will NOT fit any other way. Let me know if this works. I'm pretty sure the clamp holder is plastic and might break if stretched.

Glad to help! I procrastinated on buying one as well. The first one I bought wasn't great (video review on it as well) so I spent the extra money for the waterpik. The waterpik is still 100% great.
@@KimTownsel I got the WaterPik and have been LOVING it! So easy to install, and great pressure. Your install instructions really helped, I thought it would be so much harder than it was until I saw this video.
