this is so cool!! please make more tutorials on kpop. I want to become a kpop producer too. actually Kpop got me into production and I am a beginner. In your opinion sir how can I learn making kpop? what can I do?
Hey Alex! Kpop is very sophisticated because you need to know music theory and music trends. Do you have a music background? If you don’t know theory I suggest learning it as well as constantly making kpop type beats with trendy sources
@@papiumsicmusic thank youu sir! No I don't have a music background but now I started piano lessons and I try to remake my favorite kpop tracks. the most difficult part I find it in creating the drum patterns. do you use drum loops /percussion loops or you create them yourself? those fills you use are from splice?
WOAH eso fue asombroso, en tan poco tiempo pudiste hacer una canción tan genial, me gusto absolutamente todo en verdad! me están dando mas ganas de aprender todo relacionado a eso! tus videos son geniales... gracias por compartir con nosotros... :D
Love your videos as always! Really want to see you do US production vs Kpop production. Could be a really fun one. Also, some gear or plug-in you can't live without. Maybe behide the story of how you get this far? pitching song to artist and label, your networking experience etc. Looking forward to watch all of it. Really wish to collaborate with you. I sing, write lyrics, top line and record vocals.
This is cool. Its interesting to see how kpop is made. If I can ask a question; is there a difference between producing music for a kpop artist and for a western artist?
Wow good point! Yes it’s a syncopated rhythm time make it slightly more groovy and interesting. I basically play 16th note earlier. You could even swing that note and make it even groovier. I didn’t have time for that haha
Hey man, would love to follow your IG handle but the link above isn't working. Also, do you have any tips for American-based producers to network with the K-pop industry? I know the cross-cultural network exists, I'm just wondering if I have to move to LA just to be apart of it?
if you didn't know those "instruments" are called VST plugins. you can download them on Internet but some of them are with money. you can get them illegally but you could download a virus so pay attention :/ I personally use two sites called vst4free.com and dskmusic.com you can also find something free on Native Access (like Kontakt).
@@한잔-k1v I don't know a lot about it too, just a few things hehe. Anyways there are also some things called samples which are some audios made by producers and you can use them. For example (I think you listen to kpop), the instrumental in Lisa's part in 'How You Like That' is a sample made by KSHMR, a well-known producer.
@@user-xf7mu7ub9d i will check that now im really curious, can i just turn anything i like into instruments samples etc i really like the intro instrument of lee hi- no one
He’s using cubase the program of the midi heads. Try again with fl by learning the basics of what each button does ( I prefer Fl for beginners even though I use ableton simply because fl is the most user friendly Y for nonmusicians and has a shot ton of tutorials online ). then start making easy genres like hip hop. Basically get instrumental loops and rack some 1 shot drums like kicks snares and hi hats over them, that way you get used to the workflow... later on you can start to learn music theory for producers which simply means learn how to put notes in scales to make theoretically “correct” melodys, and once you can do that you can move up to kpop...
Hi fam. I loved this a lot! You should really make music with Katishan. His tracks low-key is like Roddy Ricch mixed with MC Solaar! Go check his UA-cam out and give him a like! 👉 #KatishanUpcoming

Alex C it’s good that you’re taking piano lessons. Keep that up. For drums you need to use combination of loops and creating your own

This is cool. Its interesting to see how kpop is made. If I can ask a question; is there a difference between producing music for a kpop artist and for a western artist?
The structure or the arrangement of the song is a little bit different
I think all Kpop songs need to have a build up
this is such a vibe 🔥🔥🔥
