- After dying bravely in battle, a Norse warrior treks the nine worlds of the cosmic tree Yggdrasil, seeking Valhalla...
Age of Mythology Retold is coming September 4, 2024 to Xbox and PC :)
What is your favorite world/scene? Feel free to comment below.
If you enjoy the video, consider subscribing, as I plan to release additional ones more often. In the near future, I'll also be posting some AOM drawings for sale on Etsy. If you've got any tips or have specific interests, just let me know.
This cinematic was made using the "Age of Mythology™: The Titans Expansion Pack" video game, with the intent of garnering favor for future expansions of the game, as well as creative expression. The final version of the New X Editor (available at AOM Heaven) was utilized, and all units and sounds are original to the game, with no mods being used.
Special thanks to the shieldmaiden Jane, a true Valkyrie, and the inspiration to follow through to the end on this project. - Ігри

Glad to see there's still such amazing people still dedicated to creating such well crafted content of this beautifull game even as far as in 2019.
:)
@@Anraheir bro please make some war loaded
@@Anraheir seriously though, these cinematics are incredible.... how long did it take you to make this one?
What is the mad king doing here?
This video has a length of 4:40 minutes but it feels like 1 hour of pure art.
I have nothing but respect for this man, ended up in Hel, and yet even though he died in battle and no Valkyrie came to help him to Valhalla, he had the perseverance to walk there himself. What a mad lad and he certainly earned his spot in Valhalla. Traveling literally from the bottom to the top of the World tree is no minor feat and the gods should be happy to have a man like him
I have begun designing the scenes for my next cinematic project. It will take time, but it's underway. Stay tuned!
AOM Visions dude you’re just great keep up the good work
we a re waitinggggg!
@@gemo3644 Haha, I know - it's been a while, but ongoing. I've been revamping the project and continue to make new scenes :)
@AOM Visions Got to say you've done excellent here expanding the scale of the mythos and the world at large with your visual stories. I wonder if all of us are lucky enough to have our own journey like the cinematic you have shared when our times come up. I know these concepts are deemed as mythology but sometimes you just got to wonder.
@@robosoldier11 Thank you, friend. All must make the journey, so all will find out :)
Coming this 2020... "Age of Mythology™: Tributary Travels (Cinematic)"
Can't wait!
@@ReginaldPugginton Thanks!
Releasing soon?
@@stephenjonathan1034 Unfortunately, no. Despite progress (already got the prologue and a few journey scenes done) I've not completed the project; work schedule hasn't helped either... best to dig in and and not rush it. I should wrap up in the next few months, however. After that, an exciting Atlantean cinematic is already in development (in my mind, at least).
@@Anraheir ok bro take your time.It is better to wait for good cinematic than to upload a unfinished one...
Aom shouldve hired you for the Chinese expansion, this was unreal
Hey, I appreciate it. I haven't tried the Chinese expansion but if they ever fix it up, I'm all game :)
@@Anraheir I've got it and I'll tell ya this: the Chinese civilisation is fun to play as, but the Tale of The Dragon campaign sucks and the cinematics are hugely downgraded from the other AOM campaigns.
@@jozinek876 TRUE!
@@Omega-jg4oq That's an interesting way to say you don't know enough to know you have bad taste
Dude you should do more Aom cinematics in the future
I plan on that.
This the story of an Einherji who was not chosen by a Valkyrie for Valhall and won his place there with sheer persistence, climbing out of Helheim and through the worlds.
Hehe, hell of a plot.
The battle, the creatures, the scenery and worlds, you've given everything so much depth and weight that it has transcended everything I've ever seen done with the aom cinematics. 2:58 had me gasping.
Thanks for the compliment and for watching! I very much enjoyed making the scenes. There's currently an Egyptian cinematic in the works - loving it :)
Art in its purest form. I feel cleansed. Can’t wait for the next one!
Thank you for the sincere compliment :)
I cant find a single word to describe my feelings about that amazing stuff. My childhood game, good times, good memories you have just bring to me with this beautiful work. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching!
1000 subscribers! Thank you all for your support! I’m wrapping up an upcoming Egyptian cinematic. After that, be on the look out for some shorter (but still cool) cinematics. I look forward to exploring the many aspects of the game, including civilizations, god powers, units, music, and themes (eg, economy, warfare, etc).
This is absolutely incredible. It's amazing that you can create such a diversity of scenery with Age of Mythology.
Thanks for the compliment :)
the guy getting crushed at 0:36 was gold
Thanks! Yeah, I never get tired of watching that scene.
You are a God! That was incredible creating these thank you!
Wow!! This is AWESOME!! 🤩💪👏⚡️ **saved to favorites **
Gracias :)
Absolutely incredible mastery over the engine as usual. Beautifully done.
one of the BEST Age of Mythology videos ever!
Thanks for watching. I'm slowly but steadily working on an Egyptian video :)
It's pure awesomeness, thank you
Hey, thanks for watching :)
I really like AoM, and I love your interpretations of the Nine Worlds.
So, we've got Midgard (0:01), Niflheim (1:15), Muspellheim (2:06), Jotunheim (2:22), Nidavellir/Svartalfheim (2:43), Alfheim (3:08), Vanaheim (somewhere around 3:54 ?), and then Asgard (4:25).
Am I missing one?
Good job. There's Helheim at 1:15 (if you put on the captions, you'll see each world labeled with its first scene).
@@Anraheir Extremely good job!
Waffogram You're a true Norse mythological underworld expert ;)
@@oni741 Thanks!

This is amazing. I am stunned. Scenes looks so well designed. Professional. Brings my old memories, when i was making my own maps as kid.
Thanks for watching!
J'ai vraiment hâte de voir les prochaines vidéos !
Ça a dû demander un travail monstrueux, ça rend vraiment bien :)
Merci, mon ami. Je termine les scènes finales. Après cela, j'ajoute du son. La ligne d'arrivée approche.
This is amazing, shoutout from 2021
Wow, this is incredible! So creative, and everything feels like it has an epic scale. So cool to see all the myth units and Titans used so creatively. I particularly liked the part with the Norse Titan barely visible in the distant mountains, and all the giants. So cool. Brings back the magic and mythology this game had when I was a kid. Thank you so much for the great work!
Ian O'Lear I appreciate the compliment. Yeah, designing in this game is lots of fun - endless possibilities for a title this old.
what a beatiful game and cinematic, is just simply beautiful, keep going with this
Thank you! I'm already working on my next project :)
Simply amazing. Speechless.
Thank you for watching :)
Amazing work O_O ! I would love to see campaigns made by you with this type of cinematics haha !
dude the details are amazing, good job,
Serdar Joshua thanks!
Really good job, this game gives me nostalgia and the cinematic is just unreal, keep up the good work :)
I appreciate the compliment. Keep on playing :)
This is amazing man. Truly a work of art. The giants marching and fighting in the distance/background was incredible. Every little detail from the fight scene at the beginning through the end. Just pure creativity. Simple, yet many-layered. 5/5
Thank you! Glad you were able to check out the video. Really appreciate the comment.
Just AMAZING, I can’t imagine all of the work it took … just wow 👏🏾
This looks great. Beautiful design it kept me focused from the beginning until the end
Thank you :)
Absolutely incredible
Why, thank you :)

On it. I'm doing research on Egyptian mythology for my next video. Stay tuned :)
This Cinematic is a nice reflection of Norse mythology, Amazing!
Thanks!
2:13 the most epic scene of AoM I've ever seen. And I've played countless scenarios watched many many of these back in the days but the ones you make are by far the most beautiful I've seen.
absolute kudos to you man, your videos are absolutely amazing, hope this channel keeps growing, you deserve it!!!
Thank you for watching :)

I love it. Very contemplative. Also, the graphic engine still does wonders.

Thanks for checking out the video. I'm working on an Egyptian cinematic :)
That was amazing! This was really beautifully done. All the waiting was worth it :)
Thank you. It has inspired me to create more. I'm currently working on another project :)
I'm excited!
Guy at 0:38, this is so well done! And hilarious!
Not to mention all the eyecandy and design tricks that were used in that video. I feel both humbled but daunted to say that still shots of this cinematic would hands down rival the decades of screenshot competition entries here at AoMH.
My favorite being 1:01, 3:09, 3:50 and 4:20. The rest being spectacular nonetheless.
Thanks, Eurotool! I too admire your past work - been a fan all these years :). Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've more ideas for future cinematics (I've slowly, but steadily begun work on my next project), so stay tuned.
Bellissimo!
Riesci a dare un'atmosfera incredibile
Grazie per aver guardato. È divertente creare queste scene.
Man this is beautiful
Thanks, amigo :)
I dont care how dated the graphics are, and the fact the game has weird things happening to me when I run it on Windows 10. AoM hands down to me will always be the best Age of Empires game, and it warms to see people are still passionate about the game today!
I swear an open world game of AoM would be so good
Truly excellent - age of mythology lives!
It does, and it always will :)
Damn this is great work.
Thanks!
u are a legend man AOM should get this legend of this
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the compliment. Spread the word :)
