Range Rover Sport L494 2014 EGR stripped free’d off and working again

Driving home my sport decided to stutter and stall and not run anymore. Quick diagnosis said EGR valve fault both were seized and been a Saturday night I decided that Sunday I’d strip them and see if they were salvageable. Both seized solid but both free’d off fairly easily cleaned and rebuilt and all back to how it should be not blocked with carbon as expected just the rods that open and close the valve solid. See if they last and I’m expecting to be buying a pair of them in the future but for now see how it goes. Fairly big job removing and re fitting but £1200 a pair fitted at most garages I did them for free with a days labour
