We are based in south yorkshire S72 8PH

I cant remember exactly but it would have been approx. £250 for that repair. We have a minimum charge floor of £250 in our shop on any job as anything less means us losing money

I would normally agree and we do go with stick on both sides unless wheels come in with knock on weights on the inside edges already then we use them again depending on how far out they are. New wheels always stick on only as well. Only way it can cause a rim leak is if they damage paint then corrosion creeps further in the rim where the tyre seals as a weight itself doesn’t go far enough in to create a rim leak as such but agreed over time and corrosion dependant they may do.

Will just be stuck pal. Remove all the bolts and then use a rubber mallet on the rear of the wheel while turning. You can leave one nut loosely in to stop the wheel falling off when it comes loose

lol. To be fair it’s not a bad van for a 2011 model. Once we have done the rest of the rust which is all minor that’s left it will be a very clean van 👍

Yes the arch is fresh paint and looks more shiny but we are doing the whole lower half of the van in the near future to tidy up small rust scabs in various places. Its a Coffee/Food truck and clean presentation is important to the owner. Im hoping he allows us to paint the whole van and renew the sign writing as well which will allow us to do a very nice clean job with potentially some new livery. We had a set amount of time with the van this visit which only allowed us to do a certain amount of work. We did the annual service along with new rear discs and pads as maintenance work. Then we replaced the arch and did the inner arch welding that was required also. Next visit it will all be painted and will match 😀

@RoguePainter we all do it haha I'm on that ppg deltron atm only just gone onto it and finding it doesn't flow out as nice as I'd like, do you reduce the clear at all?

I don’t reduce it at all mate. Using a 1.2 setup Series 2 Iwata WS400 and I can match oem peel or get a pretty much glass finish if needed. I find it flows really well but I’m also using the Walcom Thermodry so heated Airline set at 50 degrees which may be helping. I do have the 8171 as well which is a lot more expensive 40 degree bake version but I tried the cheaper 8131 and found it to be awesome myself. What gun are you using

We are still early in our UA-cam journey so we know that we can improve over the next year or so but thanks for the comment as they are all appreciated. I find it quite hard to make content but hopefully that will get easier with time :)

Ive always used PPG and been fairly happy with it. We don't have BASF in the UK or at least none of the companies we can deal with do. Id be interested to see what your issue was with PPG as i haven't had any really yet and we used the Max Meyer Aquamax for around 8 years prior to envirobase. Cheers

@@RoguePainter PPG is very overrated there's nothing special about that company

@@bighorn9119 it works well for us so I can’t complain. The new touch mix ultra computer is leagues ahead of other stuff I’ve seen and used but we all have our preferences 😀
