I'm obsessed with this show. Not only are the clothes beautiful, but the models interacting with the audience and other models reminds me of the 90s supermodels and how they used to not be emotionless. I also love the 80s soundtrack.
Natasha Maree yes I agree! 70s and 90s fashion shows were so much fun. The girls were alive and had personalities. 1970s-1990s may be 2020? seems every 20 years or so you get this trend.. hopefully this is a early start !
Thats what I'm hoping for too. Lately not only have fashion trends become incredibly good, but shows like these make me think that the 2020s will be one of those great fashion decades (like the 90s).
Natasha Maree the cool thing is that we still have some of the girls from the 90s ( Claudia, Naomi, Cristy T, Crawford, Helena, shalom and Alex are still popping up on runway and magazine every now and again) what would be cool is if they have the original girls with the new one of the last couple of decades all modeling together.. what the better cloths of the current time and the happy attitude.. as long as it does not get out of control like last time ($50,000 for one top model for your show is crazy !)
$50,000 per show is crazy, however if the models become as great as they were in the 90s i don't think it would be that bad tbh. Cause you would be getting your money's worth imo, as long as it's not Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid or Gigi Hadid.
Victoria’s Secret? Don’t kno how you could even think of comparing this with that trashy rubbish. This parade make just about every other parade EVER mounted look stilted and flat. It’s a triumph in every way. And for once the audience doesn’t look like they’re dress for a soccer game.
We all know VS shows were just a sanitized onanistic TV experience for middle American men and clueless wives with body issues... Win win for ABC, a “Disney” channel... Even Fredrick of Hollywood has more class than that...lol
I really loved the energy of this show. It's what the shows used to be like in the 80's- the models had personality and the runways were more diverse. Karl did it again. I'm afraid to think what will happen to Chanel when he is no longer around.
Finally,a few show without Kendall and Gigi this year,not that like I don't like them,I just don't think they're for Chanel ,for me.Cara IS the perfect one to present the style of Chanel.
This show is the one, you just cannot help but smile seeing all the models interacting and having fun! The elegance and ease, everyone just having a good time! This is what fashion is about!!
I think the dancers should also be ackowledged! They definitely lightened up the mood of the show and of course made the models comfortable by dancing with them too :D
Such a charismatic show. I couldn't take my eyes away from Lily! All the models were beautiful and the setting and vibe from this show is nothing short from immense. CHANEL have topped it again.
I've lost track of how many times I've come back to this and it never fails to put a smile on my face. Fabulous designs, models allowed to be themselves and obviously enjoying it and brilliant production. I can't think of another parade that gives me more joy.
I love that there is something for everyone in this collection. Beautiful young women in Paris, arriving to meet someone for luncheon at the Ritz with smiles on their faces, all done up in Chanel. Perfect.
I love the concept that they are basically just passerby’s. Just like having coffee in Paris and seeing the chic women walking off to some gig or they could be joining dinner, it just adds a mystery and story to these models, like she’s looking glamorous and happy, she must be heading to her date or that women in the suit is off to her lunch meeting.
I really enjoyed this video for many reasons. In particular the models seem to be having fun and they're smiling and they're more beautiful when they smile don't look like sour pusses. It was fun to see Lily Rose Depp not a 5-foot 10-inch model in the show, but a tiny girl who allows other girls to dream about modeling even though they're not 6 feet tall. I love the fashions I love the flowers in the hair, and it seems like Marie Kondo would step into these clothes easily, since she is such a fan of wearing white! Also this reminds me of growing up in Toronto the ballerinas would wear street clothes that were so rich and colorful. I like the beautiful surroundings with people interacting with the clothes. It's nice to dream.
Amalia Zents Depp wouldn't be able to model at that height if her parents weren't famous and if she wasn't the it-girl. She doesn't give much actual hope for short girls to model for houses like Chanel.
She doesn't give that dream to shorter girls for modeling unfortunately, as other girls know what's the reason she is there while she is no tall, no model and doesn't have catwalk as real models. It's only nepotism penetration in entertainment industry and fashion world which actually makes people to lose hope! You either should be qualified enough which is much more than being ordinary or simply be a starkid!
I dont know. I think LR Depp being a 'model' is like me being a 'rocket scientist'- it's not about aspiration. It's about ability and suitability. Some things are just a no, no matter who your parents are.

This new approach to a fashion show is amazing! I know the clothes are super expensive, but with this type of presentation and vibes that the shows gives the viewer it gives the sensation of reachable and relatable, and (dare I say it) it makes it more casual and relax. Maybe its me, but watching this makes me feel like one day I can own a Chanel closet lol BRAVO Chanel!!

4th time i've seen this. unique show. one of the best Métiers d’art Shows i've ever seen. and i have seen quite a few. wow, Cara she lights the place up, and sets the mood from the start.
To me one of the best Chanel show in a while. Look at how happy the models are, look at their smile at the end. Lindsey and Cara Molly Lily they are all proud to be here. Every models are enjoying the show and look at how happy the guests are too. For once in a while we can remember that models are people and not only walking instruments but human beings with feelings. Karl as always did a wonderful job on the clothes and a great choice for the place, the Ritz is a key place to Chanel. Can't wait to see the next one. (Pardon my English. I'm French)

This is such a beautiful timeless show. It gives a 90s runway feel, with the models interacting with on another, and it being almost a loose show where they just smile and walk freely is so beautiful. Designers should bring back this type of "runway".

Very original, there should be more shows like this one!! I loved it because 1. Les Twins and the other French dancers (that i love) brought something fresh and some entertainement to the show 2. I love Chanel 3.The choice of the models was original, it changes and they looked happy for once, having a good time 4. the collection is beautiful 5. I love Pharell and Cara Only positive vibes!
This is how every fashion show be like. Models that don't meet to expectations that some other shows have and give younger girls a wider range of girls to be inspired from. The models look like they're having fun and interacting with the spectators. Not to mention how beautiful the clothing is! The music was also amazing and exceptional editing. This is such a beautiful timeless show. It gives a 90s runway feel, with the models interacting with on another, and it being almost a loose show where they just smile and walk freely is so beautiful. Designers should bring back this type of "runway".

Very original, there should be more shows like this one!! I loved it because 1. Les Twins and the other French dancers (that i love) brought something fresh and some entertainement to the show

This is how every fashion show be like. Models that don't meet to expectations that some other shows have and give younger girls a wider range of girls to be inspired from. The models look like they're having fun and interacting with the spectators. Not to mention how beautiful the clothing is! The music was also amazing and exceptional editing.
