I think it actually released in April of this year....that's when I purchased mine from amazon. It's been through a few firmware revisions/updates and performed better with each update but, it's not perfect yet, although far better than a PIR.
i have it, 3 actually, but only use one. It has a lot of ghosting (still after update to fix it), so didnt bother installing the two others. And i dont want to filter out the pet, i want to use it as one of the reason is so it can go to the toilet at night and the light turn on for it. I wish it was Zigbee based for better home assistant integration and it does not work at all with Homey. (HA you need add it to Apple home to get it in "the backroute")
It's been months since i showed @Aqara a video of the ghosting. My door is open and even when i look directly at it from 3 meters away, it still doesn't show up in the app. The device/software is buggy and more the often it shows 3 or 4 people in the room when im alone; even when setting up entrances/exits. Emailing won't help.
Hello. Will Aqara FP2 wotk with different from Aqara smart light devices, that is integrated in another aplication like Goole Home, Smart Life, Smart Things?
Although the unavailability of most features when fall detection mode is active (mentioned at ua-cam.com/video/rph-0PSRiTw/v-deo.html) is disappointing, for rooms where this might be important, I wonder if two FP2 Presence Sensors would get around this problem.
