these duran videos made me want to travel the world. ive now lived in 7 and travelled to 35. they were the most amazing things i had ever seen. i was in awe, and flaberghasted. not only was the music brilliant, they were gorgeous and the vids unreal. 2 years ago my partner and i did a duran duran tour of sri lanka, we visited all the places in the videos. it was awesome and played their songs while there. i love these boys.

I mean, visiting the beautiful, baby blue waters of the beach, whilst you are able to dive. Imagine the radiant weather, the fine gals, the yachts you're allowed to relax on, with unlimited cocktails/champagne, all whilst riding a horse against the seaside. Not forgetting parties... What's not to love? These guys are pure escapism. After all, it's the stuff of dreams...
Agreed completely. It's a movie, and more than that, it's an environment, an experience, an essence of a place and time and feeling and state of mind. No joke. Everything just came together perfectly.

The model is mentioned in Andy Taylor's book. Her name is Reema Ruspoli, she's half English and half Lebanese. She was hired from a modeling agency out of London. Perfect fit isn't she, looks just like the Nagel painting.

Actually the model's name is Reema Medewar Rusapoli, and shes actually Palestinian not Lebanese. Her mother was from the UK and her dad is from Palestine and he moved to the UK later in his life and got married. Reema is currently living in Florence, Italy and is married to Prince Costantino Rusapoli.
