Andy’s riff is perfect for this song. The riff’s counter to the vocal melody is brilliance.
Nice they gave Andy his due credit
Roger doesn't get his due but he is a great drummer.
Very true.
As a Duran fan since the early 80's, this Classic Albums DVD is absolutely the most fascinating, funny and amazing documentary. Its just representative of the band's uniqueness and special quality. I love this Wolf sequence, the MAKING OF VIDEO FOOTAGE is marvelous, Im sure there's more, I'd love to see more of that footage for all their videos.
Also, Roger Taylor certainly came out of shell, the guy was just the most quiet Duran member throughout the 80's, eventually "retiring"! Too cool!
Nick just got the life time achievement award from Roland and mentioned the Jupiter 8 in his speech. 2021 was good for Nick
word of the day: Ambiance
My new band's name!!!
He must hate the term "reverb".
Roger's smile melts my heart
I could listen to Nick all day...
this is why the 80's Roland Jupiter synths are still so expensive today
Nick is the synth God!!!!!
This incredible. How did this fly over my head! Man, Im out of it. I must buy this TODAY.
I absolutely love to hear the artists in these series breakdown their music in the studio and discuss the process. The acoustic drums Roger plays, raw, really sound Rock and solid. So even though its a flashy 80's overall mix, at the core its a great Rock song!
Mix up only Rogers playing, with a hint of that ambiance, not too much and just bass and guitar and LeBon, man, thats a Rock song!
Nick le pone el toque musical a la banda gracias a su destreza en aplicar los sonidos de sus sintetizadores legendarios🎉.
Geez, I never saw Roger talk this much before, hehe...
Hes a cool dude
Great to watch. I would've like to have seen Andy included. I'm sure he would've participated from his studio in Ibiza. This album is classic original fab five and he should've been included in the making of this documentary.
Fantastic ! So beautiful to be able to get these moments….
totally interesting
Simmons drums took it over the top, man.
Owen Wilson's greatest role.
☆ .. Mr. N. RHODES IS THE ONE WHO EXPLAINS, TALKS AND TEACHES IN THIS KIND OF EXPLICATIVE INTERVIEWS.
Is there any way someone could break down this song into its different parts (vocal, drums, synth, guitar, bass) and upload each track separately to UA-cam? I would be forever grateful!
i have the record from 1983 . i find it very compressed sounding. the first album
sounds better.
Totally agree. The 2001 remaster though sounds cleaner, but doesn't sound as well mastered as the first album. I would love to see a new remaster done correctly.
The first album is still their best album , much darker and with deeper drum tones than anything they have done since.
Nick.
Amigos podran pasar los acordes de la intro de hungry like of wolf.
I always thought nick was a genius on the keyboards esp during this song for creating the arpeggio, that is until i found it it was a preset in the stored sounds of the Jupiter 8.. . so actually the engineers at Roland should be created with the creation of that arpeggio.
What did he use for the intro sounds on Planet Earth , Sound Of Thunder , a Roland Jupiter 4 ?
i want 9000 dollars for a used jupiter 8
