I just loved this video. Started playing a gladiator yesterday and have never tanked before. Super nervous and this made my life way easier now. Thanks!
i have seen your vids on tanks and wow. i always asks, with my macro "Healer, what say you?" because no matter the dungeon/instance, it's good to communicate. i don't care for those that think always big pulls, we'll somehow make it thru with my incredible deeps, that ruins the game for alot of ppl, vet, noob, or casual alike. Knowing that the pointman, tank, is thinking and not just reacting to repeat mechanics is heartening. Everyone should be thinking regardless the job, or the dungeon. I've been mmo'ing since EQ 1, so i know the game should be treated as such....a game..a game meant to have fun and enjoy....your video breaks the meta of all these self help vids that saturate this tube. i for one have subbed and i think i will not be dissapointed. Keep it up
Communication between healer and tank is key, this video needs more views. So many dungeon runs would go more smoothly if the tanks and healers TALKED TO EACH OTHER, all it takes is two messages and the dungeon can get going.
Definitely love ur attitude here n ur communication with the group. This is what makes group dungeons go perfectly. No elitist toxicity, just fun gaming.
just watched your vid and found it extremely helpful! I switched from dps to tank and found it quite daunting to play till i saw your vid. Would interest the community if you also created a higher level tank guide - lvl 50 (trials/ARR) and end game
This is nice video! Great showcase of gamesense and enemy placement, especially that last pull. Honestly I know it'd be niche as hell but I'd love to see stuff like commentary on specific pulls like the last wall-to-wall in Anamnesis Anyder before the final boss, showcasing how to do crazy pulls and giving insight on gamesense as a tank: Awareness of your cooldowns, awareness of your healer's abilities based on previous pulls, placement of mobs with directional aoes, etc. Can you tell I'm a tank main by the way?
