They are as brilliant off the stage as on it! All four Queen band members graduated from University. Lead guitarist Brian May is a Astrophysicist and is now Dr. Brian May! This is what Brian accomplished in his down time after our beloved Freddiie passed! They certainly broke the mold with Freddiie, what a man!

Freddie actually got a little perturbed at this crowd. While singing Jailhouse rock he actually says something like come on you fuckers. He wanted them to dance and really get into it. What the band didn’t know is they were told by the venue to stay in their seats. Queen was very upset when they found this out after the show, saying their crowd should be able to enjoy the concert without concern.

Okay! That was a proper reaction to this performance. I see so many react to this and just not get it or feel it. Thank you for a great reaction to an outstanding performance...from the days when music was delivered through talent, not through techno enhancements. My favorite live performance ever from any band. My first introduction to Queen was at Hammersmith Oden 1975 when the band played an amazing performance or the song (White Queen) I was hooked from that time on, I attended many Queen concerts and and Live Aid was one of my favourite concerts where there legendary performance was said to be the best performance of a band ever, I also attended Wembley 1986 where Queens performance of ( Under Pressure) was mind blowing, I also attended Knebworth in Stevenage Freddie very last live performance , after Knebworth Freddie turned to his band members and said I don’t want too do this anymore! A sad time for everyone who loves Queen, there greatest hits album is still the best selling album ever in 🇬🇧 Uk , they all wrote hit songs, and have sold over 300 million albums worldwide! Great reaction thanks 🙏

The best reaction I have seen to this performance...Hands Down!!!. Having witnessed the inimitable Queen live in concert several times in my younger years, they never disappointed. The loudest, tightest most electrifying and enigmatic band I have ever seen in concert. From the intro to the closing track they were 'in your face' larger than life Rock Gods. All I can say about dear Freddie is Thank God he used his power for good....Otherwise the World would have been in big big trouble.

Finally! A Reaction that mirrored mine at the Queen concert I went to in 1978! I never left the room, but barely breathed and tears streaming down my face the entire time. I didn't care... and I was not alone. Watching the entire band... Deacy on Bass, Brian on Guitar and vocals and then Roger with his vocals while drumming... spectacular, all of them. Freddie, of course, was magical. He sang this song (a tribute to Aretha Franklin) with all the soul in his heart. Thank you for making my day!

This has got to be one of the best reactions to this performance I've seen, haha. Here are some of my other live recommendations, sort of numbered by decade/era/concert:
    1) Milton Keynes 1982 is also a goldmine of a concert - the version of "Somebody to Love" from there is preferred by some people to this version, and I go back and forth! Check out "Fat Bottomed Girls", "Action This Day", and "Dragon Attack" (Dragon Attack was also great here in Montreal, but even better in Milton Keynes because of the audience's energy - this crowd was told to be quiet by the producers of the concert footage, which obviously annoyed the band!)
    2) There's also the classic '86 European tour (Queen's last, as Freddie was diagnosed the next year). "Under Pressure" live at Wembley has an amazing call and response at the beginning, and Love of My Life at Wembley is GORGEOUS (check out "Love of My Live" at Rock in Rio too, 1985, as well as "It's a Hard Life". "A Kind of Magic" live at Wembley manages to be an example of an okay song (imo) becoming 10x better live; now I love it. My personal favorite is "Who Wants to Live Forever" live in Budapest, though both nights at Wembley are stunning as well. Unfortunately, those are the only three live performances of that song we have on video, as that was the only tour during which it was performed; the song was new at the time.
    3) For some classic '70s Queen performances, the fan favorites/must-watches are "White Queen" at the Hammersmith-Odeon in 1975 (if you were impressed by Freddie's piano skills, he REALLY showcases them here!), "You Take my Breath Away" at Hyde Park in 1976, "Stone Cold Crazy" at the Rainbow in 1974 (essentially the first ever speed-metal song and later covered by Metallica, for which they won a Grammy), "In the Lap of the Gods" at the Hammersmith-Odeon in 1975 (it's actually mislabeled - it's really "In the Lap of the Gods [Revisited], which is a separate song that bookended the album) and the original "In the Lap of the Gods" at the Rainbow in 1974 (for Roger's incredible falsetto!) There are many more, and it's hard to go wrong.
AND OF COURSE, WATCH THEIR FULL SET AT LIVE AID! :)

What I love about Queen is they have 3 proper singers in the band with varying talents. Queen are an unbelievable group and have gone down in history. Freddy Mercury is at the top along with Robert Plant as my lead vocalist. I watched Queen live with Paul Rodgers Free/Bad Company and it was an epic gig. They did Bohemian Rhapsody, Brian May and Roger Taylor played live while Freddy played the piano and sung on the screen, spine tingling moment.

I was lucky to see them 3 times in concert. 2 of them in montreal, including this one. I was 17 years old at that time. Let me tell you, they sounded much better live. The 3rd time is at the LiveAid concert. This was the ultimate experience, believe me!! I saw other groups like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Genesys,Rush, AC/DC Styx, and nothing came even close to Quren at the Live Aid concert. I still have my ticket, will never part with it. I was lucky to grow up listening to these talented singers musicians. Pure, raw talent !!!

I just love his voice....I seriously can't get enough of it. You should really check out the live version of Under Pressure live at Wembley '86 that is 5:31 minutes long. His interaction with the crowd is amazing. I have never seen an artist interact the way he does. Also Another One Bites the Dust Live from Wembley '86 is incredible also. I wish I would have seen him live but I would definitely pay if they have a hologram of him.

You're heart just can't take it!!! This is the greatest live prefomance in history...bar none. I love your reaction!!!!! You are on the edge of watching greatness when you get into Queen. They were unique and most of their work didn't sound like anyone else. Freddie sang with passion and perfection. One day, as you really get into Queen, you will come across Freddie writing, producing and singing opera. It will blow your mind. Try Barcelona for starters. Love Freddie and Queen forever❤❤❤❤

Great reaction, as always! You are 100% right that there will never be another Freddie. That said, I have been continuously impressed by the stage presence of Su-Metal for years! She is the closest I think we've come to another Freddie, but still nowhere close to the real deal. You should definitely go back and re-watch BABYMETAL's earlier performances of "Headbanger" as they have a couple of tributes to Freddie/Queen in it between Su's half-mic stand and the gong at the end of the song (an homage to the end of Bohemian Rhapsody, of course).

You just earned another sub my friend. Your genuine reaction to what was a gift and a genius called Freddie Mercury made me smile. I met Fred back in the early 80's in a bar in London and he'd also smile at your reaction! He loved peoples reaction to his music.

Queen were acknowledged better live than studio - and I was AT live aid in 1985 at Wembley. Queen blew all other acts away. Glorious hot summer day I shall never forget. I am now 52.
