I love how un-selfish he is an honest, when the interviewer called him the leader of the band he immediately interrupted and said that he is just the lead singer, there is no leader of the band and that they are all equal. He didn't leave his band mates/best friends in the dirt like many others would. Such a good heart, miss him sm :(

i just saw the movie and, while i wasnt a fan of it as a whole, rami maleks performance was brilliant. the best part of the whole film. he really did justice to every subtle quirk and mannerism. you could tell he cared.
yeah the movie made many plot mistakes, but i should admit the actors performance especially Rami and Gwylim are in top notch and actually the movie is really good if you put aside that factor...
my problem with the movie was that they tried to touch upon so many different aspects of his life (family, the band, mary, sexuality, etc...) that they never had time to go in depth about anything. i felt like i was skimming a wikepedia page instead of being taken on an emotional journey
Even though he was always kinda cocky, his humble character shines thru every time he opens up his mouth. I guess it was always an adventure to be around him.
But if I were in his shoes, I'd most likely be doing the same thing. I guess people are more self-conscious or critical of themselves than whatever others might think. (I didn't word that well but hopefully you get what I mean lol)
He was very insecure about his teeth but at the same time, he was smart and didn't mess with them bc it would ruin his great voice. Freddie was a very shy, insecure person. Made him quite a vulnerable, complex person and why so many could relate or fall in love w his music!

It's kind of like a Rudolph the reindeer deal (lol ... in the sense that, the feature that made him stand out and potentially mockable actually turned out to be a gift)...you're right he was smart not to mess with it, even though he was self-conscious about it. It was kinda like that with Barbra Streisand too...people would wonder why she didn't get plastic surgery on her large nose, but, she didn't want to mess with it at all because she felt it helped her voice (once again, it's all about resonance, having more space up there in the head for a fuller, better voice!) But yeah his vulnerability and insecurity is also appealing :)

I sort of get why Freddie talked that way with the media. Joking alot because you don’t really want to be there but you have to make small talk because they want it so you entertain yourself by having some fun with the questions. I have the same sort of relationship with customers, I don’t want to be there either, I just wanna do my job and go home but I’m stuck playing 20 questions with the other party. You’re very tired so you joke around alot to just get by the sheer boredom of making small talk and answering the same questions over and over again. I get Freddie’s humour. ^^ That tounge-in-the-cheek humour you make when you are very tired after a full day.

when he talk, he look in the eyes not in the camera, we can clearly see that he is not comportable talking in front of camera, when he sing he gave his heart to the people, i have read one of the comment of QUEENS video, some people create music... some people crete good music... and QUEEN create a FREAKING ANTHEM.. maybe a FREAKING NATIONAL ANTHEMS, who could not sing along with his music, even his vocal excercise people are doing it with him... i just saw the movie and, while i wasnt a fan of it as a whole, rami maleks performance was brilliant. the best part of the whole film. he really did justice to every subtle quirk and mannerism. you could tell he cared.

yeah the movie made many plot mistakes, but i should admit the actors performance especially Rami and Gwylim are in top notch and actually the movie is really good if you put aside that factor...
my problem with the movie was that they tried to touch upon so many different aspects of his life (family, the band, mary, sexuality, etc...) that they never had time to go in depth about anything. i felt like i was skimming a wikepedia page instead of being taken on an emotional journey

Even though he was always kinda cocky, his humble character shines thru every time he opens up his mouth. I guess it was always an adventure to be around him.

He was very insecure about his teeth but at the same time, he was smart and didn't mess with them bc it would ruin his great voice. Freddie was a very shy, insecure person. Made him quite a vulnerable, complex person and why so many could relate or fall in love w his music!

It's kind of like a Rudolph the reindeer deal (lol ... in the sense that, the feature that made him stand out and potentially mockable actually turned out to be a gift)...you're right he was smart not to mess with it, even though he was self-conscious about it. It was kinda like that with Barbra Streisand too...people would wonder why she didn't get plastic surgery on her large nose, but, she didn't want to mess with it at all because she felt it helped her voice (once again, it's all about resonance, having more space up there in the head for a fuller, better voice!)

I sort of get why Freddie talked that way with the media. Joking alot because you don’t really want to be there but you have to make small talk because they want it so you entertain yourself by having some fun with the questions.
I have the same sort of relationship with customers, I don’t want to be there either, I just wanna do my job and go home but I’m stuck playing 20 questions with the other party. You’re very tired so you joke around alot to just get by the sheer boredom of making small talk and answering the same questions over and over again.
