Yes, great song Cash. Unfortunately the group is no longer together. The last report of the lead singer was that he was off with the Bedouin in the Jordanian desert. Note too how the bass guitarist wears medals. This is the same as the bassist John Entwistle in the early days of The Who, and perhaps is the bassists tribute. Yeah, black and white, really brings out the starkness of the video perhaps in tribute to The Beatles. Altogether a very good song and video. I enjoyed it like you. Great energy and beat. These are always the traits of a good song.

Saw them live, outdoors, in Ballarat (Australia) at what was supposed to be Powderfinger's last live concert. Maybe better suited to a smaller pub venue but did well in the sun. The black and white video I would guess is a tip of the hat to the Beatles, as is their song "Look what you've done" which is a Beatles style song based very much on the Abbey Road feel. They play well live including all guitar solos bring recognisable. You probably heard a ten second grab of this song at many live sports events, just like "We will rock you" and "Sweet Caroline".

The part of something else you were thinking of, was it Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil? The 'woo woo's were missing, but I was definitely expecting them.
The "James Bond girls" were like many of Maurice Binder's 14 Bond opening titles sequences.

Hi Cash! Good to see you back again. I'm struggling (like alligator wrestling) with the whole concept of your Listmaker incorporating my suggestions into your skeduuule, but if I mention Slipknot, even in jest, he gets very excited!
Jet, I have to confess I have not heard before, except as a song title by Paul McCartney and Wings in 1974. Computer says they're from Melbourne, Australia, in 2001. They did chart seven times in the UK (under my radar for sure), starting with Are You Gonna Be My Girl at #16 in September 2003, from their first album, Get Born, so maybe this one is special to Listmaker - that's my guess. I quite liked them, they made a bit of noise, and the video wasn't too overpowering, so half a glass of wine for me.
My music diary for September 2003 suggests two female singers - White Flag by Dido, (Dido Armstrong from Kensington in London), and Innocent Eyes by Delta Goodrem - who is another Aussie artist, from Sydney, but she got her career start in the Melbourne-based soap Neighbours, same as Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia.

Jet plays 70s psychedelic rock so they probably reminds you of some band from that era (60s 70s).

When it comes to Australian music I’m normally quite parochial, but I never got into Jet. This song still gets plenty of airplay but they have a ballad which I liked much more.
When Jet first came on to the scene in the early 2000s, the international arm of their record company were seeking a band with an authentic retro sound. They realised Jet fit the bill and they sunk millions into promoting their debut album.
In summary, Jet have been incredibly lucky. Without that initial investment by their record company, they would still be playing pub gigs in the Shire.
Glad to hear the road trip went well Cash. I’ve never driven the United States but I have been lucky enough to visit some of the bigger cities. New York City is still one of the most incredible experiences of my life 😊.

🍺🍺🍺🍺 I've heard this one but didn't know till now the title or group. This song sort of reminds me of "Lust For Life" by Iggy Pop. The singer's voice seems to be a cross of Iggy Pop, Robert Plant, and Chris Robinson (Is that the Black Crows lead singer or someone else?). Catchy song.

Actually I do have some suggestions for reactions: The Catherine Wheel: "Crank", "Judy Staring At The Sun", or "Black Metallic". Third Eye Blind: "The Jumper". Now, "The Jumper" reminds me of "Black Metallic", also Jim Carrey kind of covered "Jumper" on acoustic guitar to keep a guy from jumping off his balcony. And I forget the movie that was in, but it was funny!

Hey, Jet is cool ! I really like their sound - it has a kind of a 60s sound to their arrangement here. And yeah it reminded of another song too, and I couldn't quite place it. Finally I got it it was Iggy Pop's Lust For Life ! That's what this guitar/beat reminded me of 👍

Hello dear! I'll make you a recommendation: make a "react" to the song "Garota de Ipanema" ("Girl From Ipanema"), by Tom Jobim.
Tom Jobim was a brazilian musician, one of the inventors of one of our main brazilian musical styles, Bossa Nova.
Frank Sinatra has already sung this song, Amy Winehouse too - in fact, "Girl from Ipanema" is one of the songs that had the most sung versions around the world.
A big hug, from Rio de Janeiro!

So useless trivia Nic & Chris Cester (vocal/rythym & drums) uncle Eugene Cester was also known as Eugene De la Hot Croix Bun and was a founding member of the satirical band TISM where he played keyboards - they were famous for wearing masks and not revealing their true identities. People should check out "Everyone Else Has Had More Sex Than Me" which is nowhere near as rude as it sounds and actually has a very cute and kind of sweet video.
