Thats a great video mate! I enjoyed your log and reflections. Id be keen to hear about your diet and how you felt that worked out. Love the solo backpacking! well done and thanks mate.
My food works good for me. I’ve used it on a few trips now and it’s worked out fine. The only problems would be when it’s cold the nut butters get hard to eat, and the potential for dehydration because you’re not consuming all the water that you would be adding to your freeze dried meals. I try to be conscious of drinking plenty of water and adding electrolytes to it at least once a day. I would definitely recommend going on a Ketogenic diet for months in advance to trying it in the field.
Great hunt my man. I enjoyed the ride. Don't beat your self up to bad about your skills. I think you did well. lady luck walked out on you this time that's all. Still, we had a great time. See you on the next trip. And by the way, put the camra on some of the animels you see okey.
Good video and hunt. 6 days solo in the high country with a stick and string is a feat in itself. Looks like you had a great hunt and experience even though you didn’t tag out. What unit was this?
GMU 75. It was definitely an amazing experience. I’d do it without a tag just to experience such beautiful country. Being able to hunt and have a purpose just makes it that much better.

If you truly saw a wolverine, I'd report it since they're not thought to exist in Colorado anymore.
I saw a badger, not a wolverine. At the time of recording I didn’t know.
