@@jacobvarner9022 Def Beast and the Harlot, that one has some great content on 3 levels that she can break down. That, and there was a bad time in my life that pretty well was summed up by that song.
According to M Shadows, the 'king' is just an interchangeable authority figure who rules with fear that you may despise, but realize it wouldn't be wise to resist when he's at full strength. It's based on the old axiom, "When you come for the king, you better not miss." It's about biding your time patiently, in the shadows- wisely -instead of lashing out with no real chance of success. You loathe this figure, but in the meantime you can only placate and appease them. Never losing sight of your true plan to topple them once you're finally allowed close enough to do damage. Publicly you may be hailing them like everyone else in the crowd, but secretly you're keeping score of all the wrongs they've committed such as the bodies in the streets, the orphans of war, and the stripping of rights, etc.
They have a couple older songs about suicide called I Won't See You Tonight part 1 and 2 and they're incredible and speak on suicide from two different perspectives. Helped me a lot back in the day.
I personally interpret this song as a reflection of our blind allegiance to governments who do atrocious things and yet are still praised. One of my favorite anti-system songs.
I can see that. I love my country but can't stand our government. I served for the people that loved and missed me while I was gone and for my brothers and sisters next to me. Am I patriotic? Absolutely! Do I love and respect the flag? With all my heart because to me it's a symbol of we the people. Agree with me or not, I'll gladly fight for us to be able to disagree.

From Nerudamann: @JamesBailey-tb8hz I hear what you're saying! Our day-to-day lives are so much better when we can keep a positive attitude, but that's so overwhelming when it feels like things are just building up and up against us. We want to be able to have control over our lives, but that feels impossible sometimes. Something that helps me is finding small things that I CAN control and focusing on that. Just this week I was starting to feel overwhelmed at work by various things, so I took like 5 minutes and went for a walk outside. I focused on the things I could control about the walk. if you are interested with more avenged sevenfold, i highly recommend checking out gunslinger: deep meaning, hype and sounds good as hell. one of the most underrated avenged sevenfold songs that exist
To me, this song is about people's desire for a strongman and their willingness to overlook all of the terrible things being done so long as they are a part of the political in group. The crowd supports and loves the king, and because of that it's not their tongues being cut from their head, it's not their blood running through the streets and turning the water red, and their children aren't being made orphans. "Royal flames will carve a path in chaos Bringing daylight to the night (night) Death is riding into town with armor They come to take all your rights" I read this as the strongman taking power and killing the dissidents and undesirables that have been made scapegoats and of course the people that wants that praise him for it. Later on, the last line changes to "They come to grant you your rights." Which is sorta what happens in an authoritarian regime. The "rights" of the people are granted by the one in power which allows them to be taken away when it suits their needs. Given the context of all the blood shed, I think it can also be interpreted as "They come to grant you your rites." Which of course is something the King's supporters would cheer him for.
What you have here, is the Kings of story telling. I highly recommend you either turn on closed caption, or watch a lyric video. When checking out Avenged Sevenfold. Most of the time there is such a deeper meaning but you only get it knowing the lyrics. Just a thought from a person that thinks to much...😊

R.I.P The rev Gone too soon ! A7X has done a few songs dedicated to him ! The Rev did backing vocals and screams in unholy confessions and certain songs ! He was A7X’s original drummer if I remember correctly.
The witches bridle was used to prevent witches from casting spells on you during trials... during an age of superstition it was considered a reasonable precaution. Despite the name they were also used on men who were accused of being warlocks. Though this was less common
What i think this song is about is politicians and the way they make people succumb to their beliefs and their choices, that might be so wrong, so messed up, but ”the king” is the one who makes the choices for you and you should just ”kneel to the crown” or else…..
Well yeah, they're describing a city being violently taken by a mighty king, a man who will not take no for an answer, who will only see you kneel in reverence to him
If you think the things you looked up were awful, wait until you realise what Vlad the Impaler was known for… and to be honest, that was pretty tame in comparison to some of the shit we did to each other once upon a time
Actually pretty tame as to what people do to each other today. Especially to children and elderly. Some I wish I hadn't heard. It's a sick world that we live in these days . So not really any different than ancient times. 😢😢😢
Second this^^^^ also maybe Popular Monster and Voices in my Head??! Anything FIR would be great to see your take on it.... Also, as Avenged Sevenfold is def an amazing band.... So Far Away hits me hard every time! 💙
Considering you're an awesome therapist; can you react to Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar (Live from Dead to the World), Tourniquet, Man That You Fear, In The Shadow Of The Valley of Death, The Speed of Pain. I feel like he's great to review, and I would love to see your reaction to these songs; especially the lyrics.
Another view of this is the person vs position mindset. As in he says kneel to the crown stand for the throne, but never says kneel for the king or stand for the king... respect the position not the man in it... the man will eventually be replaced
I got a request for you Taylor :) Creep - Radiohead a song that sometimes feel like bring me to tears when singing it cause it makes me think of how girls use to treat me just for talking to them or replying to questions when asked ... then it gets twisted into they calling Me a creep and more :/ basically made me feel back when I was 16 like I was unloved and do not deserve love eventho I found someone to be beautiful eventho I mostly just kept it to myself
BTW most people who are beginners to listening to a7x this song which is[hail to the king] is one of their best song from the album U can thank me later :)
I always thought that it was about one of the four horsemen from the Bible. Death was to go through the world and take the non believers. It’s in revelations. The start of the apocalypse.

Actually pretty tame as to what people do to each other today. Especially to children and elderly. Some I wish I hadn't heard. It's a sick world that we live in these days . So not really any different than ancient times. 😢😢😢
PLEASE analyze "Fiction", and and search for the context of that song was written (I recommend it after listening to the song)
I would love to see a therapist react to: Avenge sevenfold - «a little piece of heaven» 😄
Could you please react to Watch the World Burn and Ronald by Falling in Reverse
Earshot Wait is a good one to react to I think you will like it
Great soundtrack for a "Change of Command Ceremony" in the US ARMY. Oh LT Commander you are so great LOL
Another view of this is the person vs position mindset. As in he says kneel to the crown stand for the throne, but never says kneel for the king or stand for the king... respect the position not the man in it... the man will eventually be replaced
We need more reaction videos on A7X especially the older songs. Critical Acclaim
This song fits HOD yes but fits the TV show Vikings way better
I would love to see you react to "Whore" by In This Moment
How about no?
BTW most people who are beginners to listening to a7x this song which is[hail to the king] is one of their best song from the album
U can thank me later :)
PLEASE LISTEN TO MAYDAY PARADE Hold Onto Me ❤️❤️❤️ pulls at my heart every time
There's a taste of fear
When the henchmen call
Iron fist to tame the land
Iron fist to claim it all
you have to check out "wallflower" by jinjer
I always thought that it was about one of the four horsemen from the Bible. Death was to go through the world and take the non believers. It’s in revelations. The start of the apocalypse.
Check out Unholy Confessions, Bat Country, and Beast and the Harlot
Have you done sevendust picture perfect or thank you.
Unless you’ve done it already you should react to a little piece of heaven it’s a very messed up song but when it comes to the topic of mental health it would be a good song to react to
Pearl Jam - Jeremy is a must.
