My wife surprised me with a birthday visit and tour of Snows BBQ a few years ago Met the owner and Tootsie as well as the rest of the team, could not have been a more welcoming bunch of people anywhere Simply really ,really good BBQ in an awesome lil town filled with great folks, not fancy ...just delicious Ate all we could, took some home with big smile on our faces and some great memories Tootsie was so gracious and kind, I bet there are a bunch of lucky kids and grandkids running around Lexington Texas Thank you to the Snow's team, but remember to get there early...bikers, car nuts, bike riders etc. love the place Devin Thomas Mutts and Butts BBQ Team Prosper, Texas
Yaaas! God bless her... How many people can say they devoted 50 years to anything?!?! I can't imagine how good that BBQ was given Tootsie's experience & TLC. Lucas, you need your own show al la Anthony Bourdain or Eddie Huang.
Lucas straight up keeps it real in every video. I love how he doesn't try too hard at being charming. You can tell he's just a genuinely nice and cool guy who is down to try new things and meet new people. The way he describes the food, the atmosphere and the story behind the restaurants makes me feel like he's taking me along on this entire experience. Apart from the great food, that is what I like about this series. Great job to Eater as always.
America is still a "Great" Country, like any where there's good folks and bad. Overall as an American I wouldn't trade it for the World. If time and $ allows come and see it for yourself. God Bless.
I wish I could still be as passionate and strong as Tootsie when I'm 80! And those barbecue....they just look too damn good. Gaaaaaaaah. I feel so awful that I live sooooooo faaaaaar away. Someday, I'm going to eat here, too! :)
Is it just me or does Lucas Peterson pretty much make this channel? I love his personality and the way he describes the experience. I almost feel like I'm there.
I did an experiment: I played this clip three times! The first time was playing the clip; the second time was muting the audio; the third time was just listening the audio with no visual! The conclusion is as follows: Lucas is such an awesome host for food show as I have found all three above experiences are equally gratifying and make me hungry! Keep up the good job and we all love you very much!
I came here after watching Chef's Table a docuseries on Netflix & oh man made me hungry, i'm from California and there's no BBQ like this around here, I admire Tootsie she's pretty much an icon in her hometown and for good reason, very hardworking, very inspirational - this is my bucket list to travel to Texas for this BBQ
love this show. the only reason i subscribe to eater. i dig lucas everything other food hosts aren't. unpretentious , humble, likeable and friendly to everyone around him. U really feel like ur there dining with him.
Great season! I'm gonna keep watching these as long as you do them. You must have already figured out the internet loves Lucas. Just keep him around forever, give him everything he asks for! :)
The expression you made on 2:46...priceless. You should do that on every video as long as it hits the criteria of "pricelessness" haha. keep up the good work. Cheers.
The Chef's Table episode Netflix that profiled Snow's BBQ was amazing. If you're not choked up at the end of the episode, I don't know what I can do for you.
YES IT'S HERE! MY WEEKLY DOSE OF LUCAS! I swear Lucas anytime and everytime I see your videos in my notification, I eat food while watching you eat. You make my ham and cheese sandwich into a gourmet meal. Thank you!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed your time in Texas, Lucas! Btw, the "crispy outer layer" that you were talking about on the BBQ in called "bark". Looking forward to the next season.
If it's not a holiday you really don't have to get there really early. We'll ride out from Austin getting to Snow's around 11 and have never had a problem.
I love this lady. Life goals for when I'm 80! Great way of incorporating who the people are when showing what the food is. Keep it up mate!
I hope I can still work at 80+ Years Young. I bid you Peace.
That's what im thinking too 😂

Im watching this during fasting, and that's a testament to how amazing this show is
Lucas....always delivering the good stuff
Diego Martin Pintos Urzagaste he ACTUALLY knows his food vocabulary
Lucas Peterson Corkscrew BBQ in Spring, TX nuff said.
And this might be the best food series on UA-cam.
I want to see Lucas get his own "No Reservations" style food show.
They sliced that brisket like butter
Shaun McGregor electric slicer. It blew my mind at first too

+Jack Wongen I'm going to university here in England just so I can get a degree to move to America. it's my dream to live there!
+Irah.Wong I would shy away from the south the food is great but the people can be close minded sometimes. Nyc is where it's at 🤘🏽
Nyc sucks ass south is were its at
Snow's is awesome, but it's far from the best bbq in TX, let alone the country.
I like how the man speaks with a gentle voice instead of yelling at me like a lot of food men
eater you hit it out of the park with this one! great job had a great watch even after revisiting this video for like the 4th time!
Thanks for watching, glad we can make something worth watching more than once!
MultiAblee i watch this like 3rd time

Judging from youtube there are thousands of "best bbq", "best briskets" and "best ribs" in usa lol
I wish I could still be as passionate and strong as Tootsie when I'm 80! And those barbecue....they just look too damn good. Gaaaaaaaah. I feel so awful that I live sooooooo faaaaaar away. Someday, I'm going to eat here, too! :)
@Lucas Peterson oh my god I never realized that you replied to me!! 🥺
Is it just me or does Lucas Peterson pretty much make this channel? I love his personality and the way he describes the experience. I almost feel like I'm there.
It's worth the trip, not only for the incredible BBQ, but the chance to talk to Tootsie is a treat in itself.
This video prompted me to read an interview with Tootsie where she told her life story and it was so amazing and heartfelt!
I'm getting so hungry....... Thanks Lucas and looking forward to the new season
