Are you supposed to hold a piece while you meditate? How do you use it to clear your chakras? It's so beautiful out there! I love it! Thank you so much Brian! Lisa
I told you the other day about my friends house in Georgia whose yard is in solid quartz Crystal formations. He told me today that he’s run into some smokey quartz recently. He’s said you are welcome to dig in his yard. He’s invited me to come dig. I hope I’m able to do so once it’s not so hot outside.
You dont by chance have an approximate location do you? The place that comes up in my google maps search I'm not sure it's the save place. I tried going a come weeks ago but it got dark earlier than expected and was hard in my little car. I'm trying to get up the nerve to try again but it's a long drive so want to be sure I'm in the right place. This one likes very cool.
One of the first rocks I bought in bulk for cabbing many many years ago (I only got to cab one)! I recently pulled out the box and cleaned them up and they are currently placed all over my downstairs! Glad you warned people about how sharp these pieces are.....also cool are the variations of this rock....I have many of those as well!!! GOOD TIMES!!!
its so amazing seeing all these forms of obsidian in one place, especially when they morph together to make crazy special combo pieces! like that mahogony w/ pink snowflakes :o
Cracked me up when Matrix started making Obsidian claims and marking off his territory all at the same time! Great episode Crystal Collector.. Subscribed
I'm never ceased to be amazed at how many different types of rocks and crystals there are, that site is wonderful and great to visit Bryan. You Dylan and Matrix certainly had a lot of fun there and a wonderful collection of the different types of obsidian that can be found there. I find sleepless nights are annoying but seeing your video and watching it makes it a good night for me and gives me a time of great pleasure. The pink snowflakes are so pretty and I can see that the mahogany pieces are very different to the snowflake types. I should think the way they shatter makes polishing them quite difficult Bryan, it would be very interesting to see how you do it. You get my mind buzzing with all the different rocks and crystals you show us and I find myself thinking about a teacher who when I was 11 let me help him dust his specimens of rocks that were in big cabinets in his classroom. He was the person who got me interested in what the earth has that are beautiful yet many people dont realise the beauty beneath their feet. Thank you for keeping me company in the middle of the night and teaching me about new rocks that I never knew existed. God bless you all love and hugs my friends Mary-Ellen UK
That’s is a pretty cool location, there are not to many locations you drive right up to and start picking up great material. Great o& you to share that location with your fellow rockhounds over there, nervy cool Bryan. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
I know this area quite well, been here many times. There are several claims out there, so I am glad you mentioned them. If you head south to the geothermal plant near Milford, go up that canyon a short distance to a road fork and there is a thick layer of solid obsidian south of the road.
Going to the oceanview tourmaline mine tomorrow after seeing it in a video you did a while ago. Gonna have to do topaz mountain and the obsidian beds now too! Haha.
you are pretty smart to direct folks away from the claim you are working in the video. folks: good obsidian (especially Mahogany) can still be found at the map site linked above.
I love watching your videos to learn of good collecting spots, thank you. I went to the exact spot that Google Maps directed me to but I don't believe that that is the exact spot that you were collecting at. I didn't see any big piles of snowflake obsidian that you show in your video. Can you please give exact directions to your collecting spot?
I also looked from Google and it’s really tough to see them from that map. There are lots of piles out there but let me see if I can look up those directions again
Totally awesome video ! Love the Obsidian stones but loved the precious beautiful doggie more ! I had never heard of Obsidian before , so thank you for the information !!!August 30th Monday 2021. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️🌺🌺🌺🌸🌸🌸🥰🥰🥰🌹🌹🌹🌷🌷🌷😊😊😊
HOLY COW! I cabbed my first snowflake today. So beautiful. I pay a bomb for this stuff in Australia. What you got at 5.21 was wonderful. 7.49 was great. I'm so jealous. I've never heard of it in pink. Yeah, you're sending me nuts here. I had no idea it came in mahogany as well.
Yeah the Mahogany stuff is really cool, it really blew my mind that I could go out and dig this way! Hopefully you can make it over one of these days to dig!!
Interesting that the mining company isn’t interested in it . Fun video. Glad you didn’t have to work really hard to get it. Surface hunting was fun to watch .

Love the editing in this one, Bryan - super fun. And WOW, that snowflake obsidian! Do you know what causes the snowflake pattern? LOL, never mind, you answered it.
Y’all check this location out! Be sure to take a spare tire, water, etc !! Have fun digging!!
You have been making great videos of late. Lots of variety, and great rock hound locations.
Are you supposed to hold a piece while you meditate? How do you use it to clear your chakras?
It's so beautiful out there! I love it!
Thank you so much Brian!

@@craft-o-matic2377 Just sit on it, and then meditate.

Hahhaaha Matrix just claimed that lil piece of land!!😁

If you ever go back or go if you haven't already you should post a video or a picture because id love to see that it sounds really cool
"The Obsidian is really cool" - Matrix
I just adore obsidian, and the snowflake type is an extra bonus. I hope Matrix’s toes are OK. Thank you. ❤️🐶
A friend gave me a piece this yesterday. And here you are with it tonight!! It does look like snowflakes. So pretty.
I loved having a chance to visit that area this year. Several different kinds of obsidian more than I could ever carry or want.

Matrix has such a wonderful life thanks to you. I love to watch you do all the things I would have loved to do.
I'm curious, if the mining company doesn't want the obsidian; what are they actually digging for?
👁
Brian mentioned that the company was mining the host rock.
Matrix writing his name in the snowflake obsidian was classic. Good size flakes and pieces.
Love it!! Obsidian tumbles so good. Great for jewelry!!
GOOD, evening The Crystal....

Thanks for giving me such interesting and wholesome videos to watch while I work from home.
Sweet Saturday Surprises!! Yay!!! 🌸🌞
If you're going to dig in the wall don't forget eye protection. A shard in the eye would be no joke. Gloves would probably also be a good idea
I imagine that dust wouldn’t be to groovy for your lungs either
No eye protection?
Freaking crazy!
That's great I would love to go there
Beautiful pieces looks like fun!
You guys are having so much fun collecting for your business. Amazing!!! Your samples are great.
Matrix's is to busy baptizen the snowflake rocks.... 😂
It shatters like glass cos it is glass. One of my favorites 💖
The pink snowflake obsidian is very close to the peanut obsidian out of Mexico.
I hope to get there soon.
Great video!

Obsidian is still used today for surgical blades for vascular surgery
Fascinating
One of my favorite gems. Beautiful specimens Brian.
that was really fun :)
Going to the oceanview tourmaline mine tomorrow after seeing it in a video you did a while ago. Gonna have to do topaz mountain and the obsidian beds now too! Haha.

🍀🌞wow 🌞💚 that looks like a fun place 🌻💜❤ MATRIX is so cute 💖
Wow look at all them obsidian or the supersize Apache tears
Awesome I love snowflake obsidian 💕 excited to mine my own 😉
Awesome. I live about 2-1/2 hours from there.
It looked a little warm for snowflakes!
Every night I sit down while my sister is watching some movie and put my head phones in and watch lots of your videos it’s great
When working with Obsidian. I suggest GLOVES and SAFETY GLASSES. It would suck to get cut bad or something in your eye when you are remote like that.
ABSOLUTELY
Wicked cool pieces! ✨✅✨Your Awesome!
Love thoose Obsidian
Love that material.
I can’t believe you not cut to shreds climbing! 😁
Your vids are amazing man👍🏻 Learn so much every time⛏🏴
Awesome that's amazing, if I ever come to your part of the world I'll definitely have a look. Enjoy your weekend guy's. ✌️
He was marking your area...love Matric💕🙌
You should wear some eye pro madude! That stuff shatters!
If you're that close to Milford, you definitely need to reach out to rock dreams about their opal claim.
I like seeing the crystals you find but if I'm being honest the highlight for me is a Matrix sighting. Love that pooch
you are pretty smart to direct folks away from the claim you are working in the video. folks: good obsidian (especially Mahogany) can still be found at the map site linked above.
You're a genius.

Great video. love your job

Nice video!!
One of my faves Hope to see some posted on your EBay😃
Unfortunately, you can't sell what you collect from BLM areas, but hey you never know
Enjoyed this! Can’t wait to find my own
Matrix is tired of licking and chomping rocks, so he's done sniffing your finds 😂
Epic video!
So much fun!!😀

when in Utah Look for Yellow Feather Jasper...Love it
Wow. Digging on a volcano/lava flow.
Super diamond.
This is one of my favorite minerals.
As much as I appreciate the science behind crystals, I also enjoy different meanings.
Machine exposed stuff is 4 sure good stuff...From animal excavations too! 🦊
I have never heard of these before. But my goodness there pretty
Have you been to Mt St Helen’s to collect that beautiful aqua-blu-green obsidian?
