Thanks for hanging out with us today! Y’all go and check this site out and dig up some selenite crystals for yourself! Just remember to please fill in your holes and leave no trash! It would be great for this location to remain open for the generations!
That’s awesome! I’ve been following your series for a while now and I love it! I actually live like 30 minutes away from this location and so I think I might just pay it a visit!
Your buddy Will in the video did a great job getting people together a few weeks ago to help clean up the site. Thanks for spreading the word regarding leaving no trace.
Yes we were in a rush to get out of town but would like to do a get together or a meet up for everyone to go out one day and fill-in a bunch of the holes there are already there. Yes Will is awesome, he did great job I heard too!
I'm an old disabled house bound dusty rusty rock hound. I thirst for the thrill of the hunt, the dirt, the rock, and the nature that goes with it. These videos are like a cool drink of spring water for my soul. Rock on!
All us hounds need to taste the living waters from time to time 💎💜 Makes me happy you are right here with us as we explore the elements ✨ Send me a message on Facebook if you’re there!?
Thank you, yes I didn’t want to go on and on about filling in the holes but it’s super important to keep having permission which is really barely there from what I understand
I am in awe of the texture of that clay, it looks so pure, like I can sculpt with it right out of the ground or use it as a face mask. I’ve never seen selenite in that shape before either. Very interesting!
That's amazing to dig out those selenite crystals, I have only seen it in wands. It's unbelievable that People want all the pleasure, but don't want to tidy up after them. They're only making it bad for others. Cool crystals bryan
I am from Salt Lake City new to rockhounding and hope to make it out to this location soon, I do have to say though I am embarrassed that we have such a treasure here that some want what it offers but don’t care enough to do something so simple as full in the holes you dig, how hard can it be… please take care of what we have here!
I’ve been watching your adventures for well over 3 years now. You never disappoint with all the natural beauty you reveal to you subscribers. I love this channel, it’s a bird’s eye view into such an amazing world. I wish I could find a site to dig at in Alabama. For now I’ll live vicariously through the adventures between you and Dylan. Rock on guys!!!
I don't know how you do it, but you consistently amaze me with your videos. One after the next, your videos introduce us to stellar sites and unique finds. Its an amazing world around us, and your channel depicts just that. Keep on it- You got an amazing life!!! THANK YOU
That clay is more expensive than the crystals. Beauty industry is selling that for good money in small amounts. That clay și good for skin problems, joints, prevents further illnesses by making your imune system strong.
Yes you’re probably right, these crystals aren’t worth much but they are a lot of fun today! Yeah who knows what’s in this clay, with all of the salt deposits in gypsum etc
That’s awesome, thanks for watching the videos and hanging out! Come out to one of our public digs one of these days, have one coming up in Missouri! Check Facebook
Amazing! And thank you for really hammering the point about filling in your holes!!!! We've lost access to far too many sites because people are lazy and refuse to fill in their holes. Let's keep these sites open for everyone and be responsible!
Thank you so much for posting your videos. I just love watching them. I am in Colorado. My son and myself are planning a trip to Holbrook, Arizona for digging petrified wood, we can hit up this location on our way back home. Also considering Apache teardrops. You have provided so many locations for my mom and son road trip. Thank you again for posting. I love your channel and watch all the time.
That is so awesome! I’m glad I can be of service to these locations, I will continue to promote as many locations as long as this UA-cam channel keeps going! Thanks for watching
Bryan. Thanks for being us to all these amazing places. So awesome!!! Going to check out your store too!!! Beautiful crystals!!! Your videos bring a smile always! Big hug!!
Selenite is awesome. It frustrates me when others take advantage of a kindness of the owners. I like the diamond shapes. The "T" intersecting one amazing. The airplane ✈ one, now I have too many favorites... Matrix you are the coolest 😎 🐶.
Looking for Love, Bryan? I am here! In Sweden!! I just love watching your funny & interesting videos. You wear my favorite color Aquamarine and you have a dog, oh boy!!!!!-I was collecting rose quartz in Finland with my dear father when I was about 4-5 years old and I have been collecting minerals ever since. I have quartz crystals under my mattress and I keep some in my water pitcher, too. (I am certified crystal healer.) I dream about finding huge, beautifull crystals. -So, I am your girl, Bryan! Let´s at least meet in a dream.....could be nice!? Another thing: I bet that Utah clay is a healing clay! My grandfather had similar clay and he healed eczema with it!
My friend in Crawford, Ga who has quartz formations all over his yard and now found some smoky quartz. You should join me in digging in his yard this fall.
I would love to, I will be back that way around early early December. That usually when I dig the Carolinas, December maybe even January if the weather doesn’t get too cold. Yes that would be really cool let me know, send me a message on Facebook if you’re there
It’s kind of like metal detecting, FILL IN YOUR HOLES!! Don’t give the hobby a bad name by leaving holes. Those crystals are beautiful! I hope future crystal diggers will fill in their holes so that place will stay open to dig.
What a great day you and Dylan had and the other Diggers with their sports lol. Terry said as I dislike mud that's not the place for me lol but the crystals look so lovely when they are clean I think I wouldn't have worried when I was younger plus the gloves would keep my hands relatively clean lol. I totally agree that people should refill their holes, it's a beautiful place and the holes dont take long to fill, unless of course they are either not thinking or just plain lazy. I was surprised how thick some of the crystals are and the pieces that are joined, my favourite was the one that looks like a plane, I would keep that one Bryan and add it to your collection. Take care and stay safe please my friends God bless you all love and hugs to you Matrix and Dylan Mary-Ellen UK
Yeah this is a really fun spot, but you have to find that really thick mud, that’s what the crystals grow in. I agree, if people don’t continue to fill in the holes, they might shut this location down for good, let’s hope not! Always great to hear from you!
Yes they are actually very brittle, most of all the bigger ones that I ended up collecting broke down where they were at fracture points. But they are super fun to dig!
Discovered your channel yesterday, and as a huge gem/rock enthusiast these videos are awesome! (and as a Utahn, I happen to quite like the ones in Utah too)
Hi Bryan, thank you for your enthousiastic videos ! This selenite is a form of Gypsum, right ? It forms quite rapidly. Are they fragile ? Once out of the mudsoil, do they change/dry out ? Thanks again for sharing your discoveries.
Yes unfortunately these dry out and crack along the fractures. You have to be very careful with him, but there has to be a way to stabilize, I haven’t tried much yet
The great salt plains in Oklahoma is a lot like this! At first I thought that's where you were, but then I saw that the video said Utah. Oklahoma makes very similar selenite crystals, but it's the only place in the world that makes hourglass selenite! I found a whole bucket full of crystals when I went
I don't think there is a bad place to find those crystals at that location. I have never seen definite come out in that flat of a shape before. I have definite sticks I use when welding to Mark the steel, but nothing like this! Thanks Bryan for showing me another form of crystal.
I've got a couple questions for you old great one. No spot burning involved or request for GPS coordinates or anything like that just generic questions. I have to go to Alabama for 10 days. There was one thing you had to hunt down in bama what would it be. Not where just what. The second question is this. If you could pick one maybe two states to go hunting in what states would they be and what would you be looking for. I'm pretty sure in October that I will be going to the Green River formation to see if I could find a few decent fish fossils. Which quarry open to the public would you go to. I don't think that's a spot burn? It's just helping a guy out. I've been to Herkimer a handful of times and I've looked for shark teeth from the Peace River up through North Carolina but I want something new to mess around with. Keep pumping out the videos. They're always good for a buzz
Hi Bryan. I am planning a trip to the Spiral Jetty in the next couple of weeks. Can you give me a few additional tips in addition to those in your video. I promise to back-fill any holes. I always do that, plus pick up garbage that inconsiderate people leave behind. I will be driving 150 miles down from southern Idaho to the Jetty. Any directions and tips on how to pick good dig spots are genuinely appreciated. Thank you from Grandpa Pirate.

Very interesting video. Thank you !
It’s sad that collectors don’t leave it like you found it. (- fill in your holes you dig out please)!
Yes, it breaks my heart when people litter......

How beautiful is this mineral? How beautiful is this? It's so beautiful that I am fascinated by the color, the shape is beautiful.
Yes I agree so beautiful!

I was thinking the same thing. Like I’d go there and grab some crystals but I’d take a jar or two of that clay as well
unsuspecting person: this looks like a great place to trod barefoot in the mud
the mud: hehehe I gots me some razors.
You have no idea how accurate that is! Your fingers get shredded without gloves
I’m literally such a huge fan of yours

Awesome! First one in the chat! U rock Crystal collecter thanks buddy!
Wielkie dzięki za kolejną wspaniałą ucztę dla ducha. Pozdrawiam z Polski (Poland)
Matrix at the end so adorable 🥰
What fun! You find the crystals by playing in the mud. I think young kids would love it too. 👍🏻😊
Love the heart one. Dillion needs to mount that.
Loved the cross one too!
I love watching you and your "mini me" digging and playing in the mud! LOL
We found this spot last year by accident...what a lovely place! :D
Please send some of these to the ebay store or in the weekly fb sale. I want to buy for sure. Very very cool.

Let’s go dig hour glass selenite in Jet Oklahoma. Thank you for sharing this spot!
Thank you for mentioning the importance of filling your holes back in! I have not yet tried this location, I need to get out there some time.
I have seen some of earth's most beautiful things through you
Thanks so much for your comment, keeps me going and give me inspiration

Incredible that these come right out of the ground. Never ending

Amazing 1st time to see this kind..thanks for sharing..allways put the earth back like you found it. Thank you❤👍👏👏
are they brittle or hard like stone? amazing either way. love these videos.💎
Yes they are actually very brittle, most of all the bigger ones that I ended up collecting broke down where they were at fracture points. But they are super fun to dig!

Awesome video 👍.
How do you determine the value of these crystals? Is it based on size/color? Or is it worthless?
These don’t have too much of a value, unless you were to find a really large one but they frown upon selling them from this site
That clay is amazing
Does this location produce anything with UV reactive with lasting phosphorescence? These are awesome... Thank you for sharing.
Well, ancient reply from me (Will) but the selenite does not react to UV light in both long and short wavelengths.
Couldn’t help but to laugh at the ball plopping on the ground lmfao
💖 hello your living your dream, the best job ever💖 I love your videos 💖
Just don't soak it for an extensive amount of time, they start to fall apart. Cleaning with water is fine though, just don't soak!
Hmmm i thought selenite is deep in the Cave. Maybe black and white tourmaline . selenite is Milky and needlelike feldsparpar. Usually you find them with Kyanite . selenite and kyanite are blades. That looks more like Tibetan Quartz with mica. Especially in Brazil
Awesome finds. Selenite is such a cool mineral. It's a shame that people aren't filling in their holes though :(
Responsible, sustainable harvesting. Love it! How can I buy from you directly?
So out of all the crystals you’ve hunted which ones are the most valuable? I’ve seen the Herkemer Diamonds, The Huge Amethyst, and the Tourmaline and now the Selenite.
Any of them can really pull a high dollar, the end of this would probably have the most potential

Oh well I bet there is some resemblance, y’all might have some of these crystals to where it is very shallow and dried up
Man I need to get out there and start cooking for crystals again... do you know of any good places in Massachusetts or Connecticut? Or nearby there
I’ve never been to either state but in about three weeks I will be coming through both! Will be looking for locations to dig!
Are the selenite crystals hard? How cool the way they are made.
Man, I was there in the spiral jetty a few years ago plugging an abandoned oil well that was spewing tar everywhere. I wish I would have known this was right there!
