Thanks fir watching y’all!! Been spending all summer getting new video footage of different locations to bring for y’all to enjoy! To help the cause share and watch the videos as much as possible, thanks for the support 💜💯💜
Matrix is the luckiest dog in the world, having humans that dig in the earth too! Nice findings, I’ve never ever seen a scepter crystal, so this was new to me.
never realized how adorable it is seeing grown adults getting excited about crystals... makes me really excited to start getting my geology degree. theres still so much to learn!
You can rock hunt anywhere. Literally... Get a book on hunting in your state or country. They are out there written by people who do go out & hunt. Always take water, let people know where you are going. No tools needed. Just looking for what you like & you'll learn what to take & what to leave. These are called leaverites. Good luck and stay safe...
It's very enjoyable but can take a toll on your body! Make sure to take care of your body by staying hydrated, and also using padding such as a garden kneeler type foam pad or other such item when possible. And always remember to wear some form of sunscreen to protect you from sun exposure if you're going to be out in the daytime, even if cloudy. Rock hunting is a super fun hobby! I'm looking forward to going to some gravel pits in Minnesota this spring to look for Lake Superior Agates! :)
@@AcidicChaosLP i know we have an amethyst mine up north Minnesota, but not sure what else we have. What do you do (you, as in people in general) with all the crystals you find? I can't imagine you'd keep them all... I mean, eventually your house would get full.
Besides your knowledge, understanding , and experience on how to find precious stones, your blessed to find them because your sharing , giving and humbly sending people to where they can experience the same luck 💯🔥 thanx
Wish I would have known about this in my younger years. I would have loved finding some of those beautiful crystals for myself. I love how Matrix is living his best life with you. You two are a perfect match.
Obsessed with amethyst my whole life. Now that I found you I can't stop watching! Amazing to see the process and the discovery taking place. WOW!!! Matrix is an added bonus! 💜💜💜
I live 3 hrs away from there, we try and get up there at least once a year if not more, we found some Smoky amethyst and tons of beautiful crystals. I'm glad to see others enjoying this magical place!
This is the place I got the opportunity to dig at a couple years ago. Absolutely amazing and dying to go back. Top of hill pulls some really nice stuff too. Thank you so much for sharing this. Brought back great memories ❤️
Greetings from Staten Island NY! I have always loved geology since I was kid. I love to visit this place. Matrix is so sweet! What an adorable sweetie pie. I miss my mineralogy kit that I got for a Christmas present.
So I am in Bozeman and have not been to Crystal Park... I am definitely going to check It Out. Thank You for sharing, your enthusiastic encouraging nature is so unique Bryan 🤗love&light
And today's word on the Crystal Collector is, "Alluvial". Learn something new and cool every time on this channel. Now I now what kind of alluvial soil you were digging in. I feel smarter already. Thank you for not talking down to us and entertaining while educating. Matrix you lil ninja pup !
Love the crystals! But I must say that Matrix stole the show. When I saw your ending it reminded me of my Weimaraner who LOVED cows. We used to stop along the highway on the way to town and we would take her over to the cows. She would shake with excitement. Lol. Too cute.👍🏻❤️
Brought fam and inlaws here today because I watched this video! Awesome day. Found a ton of small very nice pieces. Thanks for all you do for the hobby. Let me know if you're ever in Southern oregon. Will take you out agate hunting.
Very familiar with this place. Beautiful location, but tough to get into fresh dirt anymore, especially on the front side and on top. There's still good rocks to find, but unless you get someone to muck out a hole for you, be prepared for many hours of hard work and sweat (that's why I always brought a few beers along). Thanks for posting. Lots of great family memories (and crystals) from 25+ years. I can't dig like I used to, but I'll be back this summer!
I think Crystal park Montana is great place for relaxing and getting crystals. watched well smokey quartz even twins. As a gemologist I envy you for picking up gemstones yourself. 👍👍👍
Wish I would have found your channel awhile ago lol! I live in Montana. Not far from crystal park. This place is AMAZING! Thanks for sharing our beautiful state 🔥
Ive been there never sawspecimens that big! We used a screen& that helped a t0n! Love lil MATRIX PUP! The hot springs is a sweet dip too! Yikes that is a big jump for rin tin tin.
I Love Crystals and Matrix is one cool dog but there was another dog there you didn't introduce us to wondering they sure could use some more attention. Enjoyed Montana it's so Beautiful there and the night sky is incredible. Enjoy 💜
My parents were rock hounds during the 70s (dad later became a gemologist & mom, a silversmith). I was in high school at the time and I used to think they were “so boring”. I would give anything to have been interested in their passion. They would travel all over the US to “dig”. Montana was a favorite of theirs to find Sapphire. If I could change anything about my past, it would be to have shared their passion. It makes me so sad that I thought they were boring. Shame on me.
You guys had some awesome crystals coming out. Lovely rainbow effects in some. Was funny matrix barking at the cows. Think he wanted to round them all up lol. Thanks for sharing
I was getting so excited for you as you were digging. We are planning a visit this summer, coming from Pennsylvania. I hope we have some good fines too! Thank you for posting.
It's cute that these guys are wearing shorts and flip flops. If you're serious about finding good rocks, I strongly suggest wearing long pants, a long sleeve shirt, boots and some kind of head wear. It gets hot and dusty. Make sure to bring mosquito repellant as well. I'm not sure what time of year these guys were up there, but last summer the parking lot was full by late morning. Bring good tools and prepare to get dirty and sweaty. There's still good crystals, but they don't come easy.
I have been all over that area. I've found some beautiful specimens there too. Hope you go see the ghost town. It's not too far away from Crystal Park. We've spent a lot of vacations up in Beaverhead. Glad you got the chance to do a video of your trip. Brought back some fantastic memories.
@@TheCrystalCollector I have a pretty good sized collection. Especially from Montana. It was a very special place for my wife, and I. I pulled a huge smokey amethyst from up there. I'd love to show it to you.
Hello Brian and Matrix. Great video. Please stay safe and healthy and take care of yourself and your family members. Goes for members also. Ttyl my friend. ☺☺☺😇😇😇
FINALLY!!! You have gone to where I love to go in the summer… I live about 2h away so I go here a lot… Great finds… You on the back side? You go down the road about 4-5 miles past Price Creek, you get to a great campground called Grasshopper, it’s a great campground!!!

There are some real beauties that were dug there, and the ones Paul showed us were gorgeous. I liked the one that had the smoky line going right through it, I just can't remember the names of the different pieces. My Father in Law is now very ill and my mind is not functioning properly but your video has lifted my spirits, watching you all with the beautiful crystals and seeing Matrix clowning around bless him has made me smile. Thank you Bryan, the video reminds me that life goes on and there is joy and happiness in the little things, like Matrix barking at the cow, I thought for a moment he would have liked to jump out of the camper for a closer look at it lol. Where next I wonder and what type of crystals will we be seeing? I'm getting to see different states in the US with you, without having to leave my room, plenty of adventures that aren't costing me a fortune lol. I may be bedridden but I can see the wonderful places and people hunting for crystals, thank you very much sweetheart. Good luck and happy fossicking, God bless you, love and hugs to you and Matrix Mary-Ellen UK
