I love We Don't Talk About Bruno so much that I had to listen to it in another language and since Encanto is set in the Spanish speaking country of Colombia I figured it would only be fitting to listen to No Se Habla De Bruno! I still can not get over what an impressive composer Lin-Manuel Miranda is!

Who else is so obsessed with this song that they are listening to it in EVERY language? 🙋🙋🙋
Me!!!
Me! Lol.
Hey Cody, so only Pepa, Felix, Julietta, Abuela, Mariano have the same voices in Spanish and English
Ya... here! Me too!
...even the german version of the songs aren't really not the bad this time
totally not me! heh… definitely….
ok maybe . . . 😰
The voice actors for Pepa (Carolina Gaitan), Felix (Mauro Castillo), and Abuela (Maria Cecilia Botero) all voice for both English and Spanish versions of Encanto, with the exception that Abuela's vocalists are different!
I knew about Pepa and Abuela but not about Félix!!!!! That's so cool!
really? abuelas "oye marianos on his way" sounded really different.
@@noodleeee I looked it up and Abuela's singing voice is a different actress, but the talking voice is the same in English and Spanish!
@@noodleeee Yeah sorry for the confusion, the VA is the same for abuela in both languages but the vocalist is different :)
You are absolutely right! I believe Angie Cepeda (Julieta) is also one of those, I could be totally wrong but there were talks of her voicing her in Italian as well. But couldn't tell ya if that's facts lol. However, yes, Olga Merediz sings for Abuela in English, not sure if Maria Cecilia went for it in Spanish but in the English one, you're definitely right.
Fun fact: the vocal of Camilo in Spanish is 22 years old
Juanse diez is 21, turning 22 in june
And he's BEAUTIFUL
@@peppocket7683 IKR HES PRETTY ASF
also the guy who is camilo is antoni scardina and he looks so pretty and he sings in polish.
Juanse Diez is 21
Colombians can notice the accents of each of the characters, coming from different regions of the country, that makes the song and the movie more alive
WHAT
The voice for Camilo in Spanish is so cool 😎
Si es cool
@@rafaeladriansancanmedina130 si
SIP es re buena
En efecto si es bien chingona
Claro que yes!!!!!
the voice actors in the original version for pepa, felix, abuela, julieta and mariano are actually colombians, so they did the spanish version too. but the abuela's vocalist is a different person.
The singing version in Spanish of Abuela Alma is made by Yaneth Waldman, another Colombian actress 💕
Actually, Mirabel, Isabella and Dolores too.
@@livavapa not really. in the original version mirabel, isabela and dolores are played by stephanie beatriz, diane guerrero and adassa, in that order. in the spanish version theyre played by colombians olga lucia vives, isabel garces and daniela sierra
@@filmsandseriesedits Stephanie is Colombian tho
@@grace_lol4240well, stephanie beatriz was born in argentina, actually. but she has also the american and colombian nationality.
In Latin Spanish it is incredible because Camilo's voice is incredible and when he sings he gives it his own touch, not like in English and in other languages. Greetings from ECUADOR 🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨
The one who voiced Camilo in Spanish (Juanse Diez) was actually at my highschool a few years ago! He did an amazing job.
apoco?
@@Clipper-er2cf jajajaja sí
En la Mía También 🥸
I love camilo's part "terror en su fazzz, rrratas por detras" is the best 💓
I really like the both the English one and the Spanish one! The voice actors for pepa and Felix are the same in both.
Your comment on how Camillo sounds younger in this version and about how in the English he sounds older made me think about how Camillo and Mirabel are both supposed to be 15 in the movie? Camillo is only a few months older than Mirabel and it's interesting because the themes of the movie kind of make it seem that Mirabel is early 20's at the youngest.
Love the fact that you reacted the spanish version too :D
Its good that for some languages an english "no" sounds the same. Like spanish, italian, french... Worst thing is for the languages that "no" sounds different because then they have to figure it out how to change the lyrics to still make it sounds good.
For exemple in Portuguese the “no” is “não” but it still sounded good so they didn’t change anything, but in Polish they had to change Bruno’s name
@@andreadias8136 Like for you because you find out I'm Polish 😆
Actually, they were pretty accurate in Polish. There are cases in our grammar and depending of the case we change ends of words.
So "we don't talk about BRUNO" is literally translated to "Nie mówimy o BRUNIE" and since "no" is "nie" in Polish this actually worked out pretty well. 😆
"Nie mówimy o Brunie nie, nie, nie."
But we were still more lucky than some others 😅
@@viajourney Ooh, now I get it, thanks for the explanation and I didn’t know you were Polish, I’m Brazilian, so I was just saying the exemple from my country and one of the versions I like
I think the Polish version is very cool, it sounds good (I even memorized the “we don’t talk about Bruno” part)
@@andreadias8136 haha, then an interesting coincidence 😅
Like si ay un latino 😭
Cody, reacts to "Não falamos do Bruno", it's very good, and you'll see how incredible it is how much it rains Brazilian to watch a North American reacting to a Brazilian sound
Up
not to be rude but he’s Canadian
Up
Cody is a producer from my country, Canada. He isn't american
@@zarif1217
I expressed myself badly, I already corrected it
Isabella voice in spanish really impressed me 😍
I LOOK LIKE HER
In English, she has a softer voice. In Spanish, she sounds snarkier
@@zygovox1 In English, she has a softer voice. In Spanish, she sounds snarkier
Actually when you look up who voices pepa English and Spanish it is the same actress same for felix
As someone who speaks Spanish I feel happy that someone actually reacts to Spanish covers of We DONT talk about bruno :)
No Se Habela De Bruno!
Yay I’m so glad you reacted to it I was requesting it in a live idk if you saw but I’m happy you reacted to it
Thanks for reacting to the Spanish version, Cody! Although I am not Colombian, I am Mexican, so I feel so good being able to understand this haha 😂. Love your vids!
I knew my Spanish class would come in handy! I understood like 99.99% of that
Haven’t finished the video, but I bet it’ll be amazing! I like how you keep making these videos
Hope you enjoy!
@@CodyMcManus I LOVE YOUR ENCANTO REACTION VIDEOS!
Love this version
I think it's cool how they show Bruno walking and dancing on the second floor during Dolores part
The Japanese is a total banger , it would be interesting to see you reacting to it 💀💗
Also be safe!
¿el argentino es un idioma? 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🤔
A lot of elements in all movie are presents in the North-Brazilian culture, too. I'd like you to react the Brazilian Portuguese version of this song. In this version Camilo has a whole different voice from English and Spanish version and I think you'll like him. ^^
7-1 version?
@@franco1460 you are just like "haha funny look at me I am a child that only thinks of football and insults you with a match of years ago. Haha your country is bad beacause of that, what a loser" I am not even from Brazil and is stupid.

La parte de Camilo es PERFECTA
React the Brazilian Portuguese version "Não falamos do Bruno" I love your reacts. ❤🇧🇷
You have to listen to the Brazilian songs! I think Mirabel's and Camilo's voices swit so well on them. And Luísa's song sounds AMAZING
02:50 My Answer: I think he sounds more like a guy because he is imitating Bruno's voice when he shapeshifts, but if you listen carefully you can hear when he sounds more like a child in the English Version
Omggg you reacted to the Spanish version too!! Tysm
Another amazing video from Cody u never fail to impress oh and I also love Dolores part I like her part in this one better than the original it just sounds so good!!!💕
This is gonna be one of those Disney songs that'll be stuck in our heads forever. We just won't be able to "Let It GooooOooOooOo"
Now he's just playing with my emotions by not reaction to Dos Oruguitas 😂😅
I'm pretty sure he already listened to Dos Oruguitas in his movie reaction, so he probably thinks theres no point in listening to the original song when he already has.
@@zarif1217 He did it! Yeeeesss!
@@Dimsrose i didn't expect it. But im happy bc i dont have a patreon account
YEEEEESSSS! I subscribed to you ever since you started reacting to Encanto songs. ❤️ You keep delivering!

My daughter loves this movie. One of my favorite songs in the movie along with pressure, did you know we don’t talk about Bruno actually passed let it go from frozen. This movie is amazing and I loved it especially since it was a Hispanic family along with different shades 💜
Now I want to see all your reactions to the Spanish versions of the songs xD. I loved this movie in both versions but first I went to see it in Spanish because the movie is about my country so I had to see it first in Spanish and I loved it!
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
I'm like a Latino. THIS IS A MASTERPIECE ✨✨✨
maybe on a stream you could react to camilos part in 30 languages! all of them are really funky and have their own charm. you could also just watch it off cam, its fun to listen to in general!

Can you react to other Encanto songs in the Spanish version? as this is a movie based on Colombia it would be interesting
Wow I saw the movie in English however now that I’m hearing it in in Spanish I notice that they change the lyrics considerably so I’m asking myself now if they understood the same things as I did, probably I’ll watch it again in Spanish though, great video
The fish lady turning into dolores cuz it’s all the ppl mirabel is thinking and worried about it’s all in her mind. Jared confirmed this
So happy you reacted in my language saludos!!シ︎

I’ve watched this song so many times that I know what part says what, so I can understand it
Hey I've been recently getting hooked to watching and checking out to your reaction videos (mainly because of your Encanto series) and I'd love to see if you'd check out Waving through a Window from Dear Evan Hansen and maybe a few other songs on the soundtrack😊😊
This is so good in Spanish, but you should try to hear it in French it’s Ne parlons pas de Bruno
Im spanish and i love Cody's face hearing this song not understanding what its saying
Spanish voice for camilo is 21 and in English he’s 24
Idk if it's becouse Spanish is just a more fluid language then English but the staccato sections like Delores's and Isabella's verses seem less punchy then the English version. Someone who speaks Spanish, is this a language thing or is it simply a different interpretation? Genuinely curious, still sounded good either way
