So, who has played the Demo? Are you looking forward to the game, if so, what aspects of the game are you looking forward too? If you dislike the game, why? Have the game previews convinced you to give the game a try?
Why I am excited is because of a similar reason to you. I will admit that I only played a tiny bit of the original when I was a kid, but it was mind blowing. The visuals, music and story were incredible and I don't care that the character visuals weren't as good as the backdrops. Pokemon and Suikoden were the first JRPGs that I played properly, but I didn't need to play Final Fantasy VII properly to appreciate its brilliance. I did beat it as an adult, but I am so happy to experience it again.
With the news that Square Enix are cleaning up the studios by firing western localizers there's a good chance they may regain the loss of respect from us old time JRPG fans. Its a good bet that I might play FF7 when the game goes on discount during a Steam Sale.
MugenLord I never understood the "go back to play the original" argument. That sounds not only disingenuous but also like a shaming tactic as a distraction to ignore critisism for the lower quality of it's storytelling. The purpose of playing a remake is for the quality itself on all aspects, to the point where you don't need to go back to it's original game. Resident Evil 1 remake (2002) is one example that is considered one of the best remakes ever made.
The original: Destroys a massive dragon in two hits, taking zero damage from its claws or flames. This version: Eventually takes down a trash mob of two common enemies, taking some damage. The original: "Sephiroth's strength is incredible... He is far stronger in reality than any of the stories you may have heard about him. I was mesmerised by the way Sephiroth fought." This version: "He was in a different league from the rest of us." Lame. Why would the developers even change this? The scene was meant as a shocking reveal of Sephiroth's power, but I guess the horse already bolted on that one. If upgrading a story means downplaying the drama and gravitas of a key scene then I preferred the basic graphics, text boxes and using my imagination. The whole point of the FLASHBACK is that Cloud isn't an overpowered anime fighter yet and needs to be carried by Sephiroth through every battle. How does he have almost 4000HP? Why is he doing acrobatic sword flips and taking down high-level enemies single-handedly? Ugh... Just to hammer that point home, Sephiroth says "I guess there's no point me even fighting heh heh." And notice how cynically they have to undermine Sephiroth’s power and authority by making Cloud (who was star-struck by him in the original) a sarcastic veteran fighter who equals him at every turn, even talking back to him and matching his moves turn for turn (slicing down a flying enemy in one hit; grabbing one of the soldiers and saving them from being swept away by the river). These changes are not random - they're carefully calibrated to show that Cloud is equal to Sephiroth, which trivialises the drama of their intended power difference.
i'm not sure if you'll spoil yourself with the demo considering it tells you, your progress is saved when the game is out, meaning, you will not have to redo it like "ik what happened already" .. so I think it's good it lets you continue where it left off with the feeling "it's already here, go and play it" to a wall point. and after I beat the demo, I'm going back to Crisis Core remaster cuz I never finished it lol with all these games coming out.
As someone who made huge changes to my movie, I know how you feel. I remade my story to combat Hollywood and the idiotic power of the entertainment system. They lied to me and put me through a lot of harm. VX Super Force is a very special story I wanted to make as a movie. I made a online story and a 180 paged screenplay which would have led to a mighty 2d animation story. But, since nobody on the planet is brave and helpful and well, I had to take a huge risk and create my movie with my drawings. I was honored by some artists from the film business who were surprised including Don Bluth (All Dogs Go To Heaven and Titan A.E.). I wanted to make a fun and mighty story.
After the ending of the first part, I refuse to even touch this product. They are willing to destroy the original game's central theme to "subvert expectations". I always said this game was going to save or end Final Fantasy as a franchise, and right now, it leans to the latter.
I really enjoyed remake, I'm sure rebirth will do the same for me. It's not a faithful remake but I loved it regardless. Haven't booted up the demo either, gonna contain my enthusiasm for the full release. Great vid Mugen!
@@MugenLord it’s just that the game is so close and the hype seems to be real. I think the community woulda been okay without it. BUT…I’m not mad they put it out. We need more demos
Mugen I wonder what are you thoughts on the continued censorship of the rest of the FFVII remake? Where they removed a joke like Cloud looking taking some of Tifa's panties? I mean you and others have stated how unfair it is that games like the Witcher games, Cyberpunk, BG3, etc. can have as much nudity, sex, violence, but when it comes to games like Resident Evil, FF, it's too much.
Fun fact: I've never played any of the Final Fantasy games, except 14. Though, I am planning on doing a Let's Play marathon where I play all the games on my channel someday 🤔
Honestly they should've done what Gamefreak did with Pokemon Brilliant diamond and Shining Pearl when making remakes of old turn based games. No need for the hyper realistic graphics and gameplay changes, just remake the polygon models to a more HD chibi look.
I was a FF fan up until 12. 13 made me take a step back, 15 killed all interest forever It’s just weeb bait now. Music was never good, story was always bad, gameplay is a poor mans action RPG Nostalgia is a drug, ff was never good
It has taken 21 years to perfect the new formula, I'm not sure it was worth the wait? Introducing new characters like chadley and Marle was a bridge too far for me, I was under the impression that it would be impossible to do a 1 to 1 remake? There's no saving grace this time, I'm happy playing other games and I'm just going to wait and find out if Square Enix has perfected the new formula with Rebirth?
I agree. I hate the remakes new story, and my wife is 10 years younger than me and she will NOT play the OG cause of the polygons. They should have at least redone the og bdfore this
Just can’t bring myself to give them my money. I respect your reasoning and choice to play though. They clearly put a ton of work into the creation of this version just completely don’t understand the changes at all
The first part certainly cut corners, the materia selection was very limited and enemy skill materia had like 4 abilities and only 2 limit breaks per character and only 4 playable characters.
I’m still looking forward to it, but I don’t blame the people upset by the bait and switch of remake. Ironically enough, the last game should’ve been called Rebirth instead of Remake. Would’ve saved a lot of headaches some fans had. This could’ve been called Rebirth vol 2, or something like that.
I already preordered the game but I only played the demo so I won’t have to redo the chapters again, they let you finish chapter 1 and 2 is coming out shortly then when the full game releases I can start on chp 3
OG FFVII is what got me into the series as well as the jrpg genre for the very first time. It will always hold a very special place in my heart. For me, I very much liked Remake and was intrigued as to where SE is going to take it as it is a sequel to the original game. I'm very excited to see how Rebirth as well as the third game will end up. With all that said, after the conclusion of the third game, if SE were ever so inclined; I can actually see them turn around and make a true 1 for 1 remake of the original game using the current assets from these sequels. If they were to do that, I can see fans of the og game get really pissed off because they will see this as a cash grab at that point because they will question SE as to why they didn't do that in the first place. The Resident Evil remakes as well as the Dead Space remake has proven that it is very possible to have high success with their games without straying too far away from what made the originals so enduring - mainly the storyline while adding new elements to them like updated visuals and gameplay.
I stopped playing Remake half way through it and said I'll wait until the game is complete and they just release the full game as definitive edition in like 4yrs because they are gonna milk the shit outta this
Came to term with some aspects of this remake as well and i just couldn’t spend 30+ hours in Midgar. I’m more optimistic about rebirth because it seems like they really put effort into this one in terms of meaningful content and the open world is back. That alone is commendable.
That's understandable. But to me, it feels like there repeating the same debacle done with Fantasy 15; dishing out full priced sections of the game before producing a refined completed product. Square Enix's abusive decisions has killed my interest in future Final Fantasy projects entirely. Your reasonings are very fair and well thought out. I am open-minded to see others take a leap of faith, and enjoy themselve. All the best.
SE was on record recently stating that they would like to do FF6 Remake but its going to take over 10 years to develop if they decide to go in the Direction of Beautiful Visuals etc. Final Fantasy Remake Trilogy was revealed back in 2015 and its now 2024, we are 8 years in and the game still isn't complete. They can release the game as one whole package but that means over 10 years of waiting or they can make a completely different game using FF7 as a base to make them into individual games. After seeing all the content in Rebirth, this isn't a simple feat. They could give us a 1:1 which I would have loved but they would have most likely not have went this route and just gave us something more tamed. Which is why they believed that it wouldn't have bought in big numbers. FF9 Remake is rumored to be 1:1 but it won't receive the FF7 Remake treatment and won't look anywhere near as good as this. So they are experimenting to see what works and what doesn't. If FF9 Remake does amazing then they will probably go that approach with future Remakes. If it doesn't then they will continue down the FF7 Remake Route.
@@MugenLord 😮Oh, thank u that's very informative. If the dev teams got that much work cut out for them, I guess I should be a little less harsher knowing there actually some employees that actually love the fans.
@@princemwamba5230 Yeah, I played that game 26 years ago. Now that you say it I am having flashbacks of him. I guess I didn’t even understood all the story, my english knowledge was way worst than today :P
Im w u but i did love rebirth demo and git a star on piano after doin that a couple hours haha so i decided to play it fo what it is even tho i dont like nomura or kitase idea that a good game is just marketable imagery...anyways i had to drop a grand on motorcycle parts to fix bike so i can get to work so even tho ibwas gonna get day 1 i may have to wait a few months.
I feel the same way. I already want the game and loved the first part, so o don’t want my expectations or my experience playing the game to be altered. Because I want to play the game and not have it end when the demo comes out. I get the urge to play demos and we need people to play them to get an idea of what to expect or if it’s worth or time. Like with Suicide Squad, but that’s all a personal choice I made for myself. I just hope this game is fun and enjoyable and further expands the lore and love of these characters. I can’t wait.
I agree with how attatched to the characters you are. Tbh their the reason I even touched the KH series. I didnt bother with 3 when I heard they weren't in the base game. All it takes for me is to add Cloud and the gang to a project and I'm in. lol
I'll be getting the game. Ive thrown away all hope of enjoying the story, but I do think the gameplay is going to be good for this one. The OG game has so mcuh content from between leaving Midgar and the Temple of the Ancients that they are going to have to mess up big time to not be able to make a good game out of it.
Well, if anyone's concerned about Nomura's death touch, they shouldn't worry, he's out of the picture from this game onwards. That also means that the game play changes a bit from the original(i.e. Nomura focused more on the Materia and weapon growth with the balance between menus and action combat) while now, his co-director and successor, Hamaguchi does things a bit different(he seems to have removed the Remake materia system and replaced it with the OG System from OG 7 and trading it with Synergy attacks and abilities and a Skill Tree for synergies straight from FFXV, which he had worked on IIRC). Good luck surviving Kitase "I'm embarassed over what I did in OG FF7, modern sensibilities" and Toriyama "Genderbent Cloud's armpits are my waifu, this remake needs MORE crossdressing".
"But with Rebirth, I honestly cannot imagine what players will be thinking. For example, I set up the direction of the final scene in FFVII Remake that you asked about. I can’t really talk about it now, so I’ll just say that the final scene of the next game will have a very… different impact to the previous one. I’m even more nervous about how people are going to react to some of the things in Rebirth than I was for Remake." - Nomura
@@vincentgraymore Wait, he's back? Why did he step down from directing then and give it entirely to Hamaguchi instead of co-directing like he previously did?
It would be great to get a 1:1 remake with updated graphics, than again there have been times those kinds of updates make certain aspects lose a bit of their charm. I'm waiting for the actual release too, though I was very tempted to check the demo. Just worried about which direction the story will go, many themes could be ruined, and we'll likely get a defanged and declawed Cid.
I have played the demo and I can say that it was really good... on a gameplay aspect of things. They definitely improved the gameplay so much more than FF7 Remake. Way better than before. But even with that said, I'll give you my brutally honest opinion... I'm not getting FF7 Rebirth. I don't care if the gameplay is good, the story is something I'm not looking forward to. To be honest, I don’t get the excitement myself. I have played the original on the Switch and I do love it. And to see the story going in a different direction after playing FF7 Remake is very worrisome to me. They can present all the cool features and trailers, it still will not convince me it will be any good unless they somehow make the story good which I highly doubt it. It’s a shame because I wanted to give it a fair shot but I won’t do it. Even worse, I'm passing up FF7 Rebirth for Persona 3 Reload. Compare to P3 Reload, that game feels more faithful to the original Persona 3 as a remake unlike FF7 Rebirth. I don't feel that sense of faithfulness with Rebirth. But that’s all I can say. I sincerely hope you guys find some enjoyment with FF7 Rebirth and I hope the story doesn’t ruin the experience for all of you. Best of luck.
As someone who just beat FF7 this past Christmas, I personally choose to pretend the remake and all these other FF7 spinoffs and add-ons don't exist, but especially remake. So many of these changes and additions sound absolutely retarded on top of the whole Emo Cloud thing, which I've heard was BS for years, but having actually played the game now, it's really fuckin stupid. And of course, there's the business model of stretching it out and selling it in 3 parts.
personally I'm not attached to the original because I only got up to leaving midgar and i know it is totally frustrating for it to not be following the original but i would imagine IF people can kind of just give it a chance, it is kind of exciting that you don't completely know what to expect from this game. thankfully square has did a great job of making sure to preserve the original, bringing it to every modern platform it is important to them but this is also cool because it really doesn't feel half assed in any singular way. I really like the first remake (a couple of issues but still cool) and I played far enough in the original game to be at the same point of when the remake ends and to me it was pretty exciting to not completely know what is gonna go down. I am excited for rebirth but given how much i have to play right now I think i will just wait for it to come to PC. I do wanna play more of the original, crisis core, the remake again. I dont mind waiting but damn it looks really awesome.
Wow, they even give Tifa cowboy outfit a sport bra treatment? Talk about adding salt to the wound. Some might say, just fix it with mod. Bla bla bla. Then you still giving money to them. Look at Sega, bragging about localization team had influence in development phase. Can't rely on mods fix everything without addressing the roots cause. I don't have a problem with them splitting FF7 into three parts, OG got 3 disc anyway. If anything, I'd be glad that is more material of my favourite series for me to play. But seeing how they messing with Tifa, I've had enough. Yeah, good job Square, you killed my only reason to buy PS5.
My opinion hasn't changed either. I'm getting this for free so i might as well play it. Story i couldn't give a crap about. The exploration and mini games is what I'm looking forward to.
What pissed me off was how they could not release this as a 3 disc game instead of a two part with the last one being two. Edit: I also look at money and how things are priced. I find it disrespectful they didn't have the confidence to put the 3 disc game at its actual value, $150. This is a $150 game because people are willing to buy the same game cut up into two installments for $75 simply because the second installment has a different subtitle. I take that as a slap to the face. It also introduces a new issue with high graphics gaming: spilt installments. They know for a fact they wouldn't get their money's worth selling it as is, so selling it separately was the call. This also proves the game could have also been sold as a 3 disc and I believe they made an excuse as to why they couldn't. Now we have a 2 disc installment. I honestly feel lied to by Sqaure because you can't come out and say games like this are expensive and then perform these slight of hand tricks with the price tag. It shows even Square doesn't trust the market and would flip out at the price tag. Plus, newcomers would definitely wouldn't buy it since the price of $150 would be seen as a gate only hardcore gamers and fans can afford.
Making it a two part would have been cool but then it's about finding the best spot to end the game, since its not exactly OG FF7, they are making new content so it has to make sense to where they want to end each title.
@@MugenLord if they worked on just that 1 game, put all their studios on it, then they could get it out way sooner. But business wise that isn't sustainable nor does it make sense. Also the scale of the project. That is also another factor. But yeah I'm waiting until the inevitable complete edition comes out
The demo is perfect. Well, it has some problems, but it is a real recreation of the Kalm flashback. I was hesitant for a playable Sephiroth, but he did feel good playing and he is really powerful. Masterfully expanded (yes, some is just padding, but it is okay) with a lot of additions, but without any new story crap. Even gracefully avoided Genesis. The problem is that the demo is so good and so in line with the OG compared to the remake that my heart gets broken every time I think of what is to come. It perhaps would have been better if they actually did add more of the new stupid in the demo, although to be fair, the demo cuts off before the flashback ends. I have yet to hear anyone say "the Kalm flashback Rebirth demo is so similar to the OG that it is trash and boring", but I still see many "I am so glad they are changing things because playing the same is boring". I agree with mostly everything you say (except I don't hate the compilation) and the only problem I have is the story of Remake and what is to come in the remake saga. Even if we don't get the FF VII OG, I just consider it a cultural heritage loss or vandalism. I still bought a PS 5 and preordered Rebirth and expect it to give some joy, even if the story will go down the drain. Heck, Nomura himself is more nervous if people will like the ending to Rebirth than he was with Remake.
You don't have to play the demo if you don't want to. It's probably going to be a gigantic game, and my time doesn't allow for me to sit there for 60 hours so easily. Early progression, a feel for the game, and excitement as it is coming soon, doesn't hurt at all. Your decision is your own.
I've got a similar thing going where despite my concerns, I'm still intrigued to see how they handle this. The confirmation that this trilogy will still lead into Advent Children was kind of a dead giveaway for how part 2 and 3 will play out even with the new plot points introduced. But at the end of the day, we'll just have to wait and see how they do this before we even start saying "game of the year" or "this is the best way to experience FFVII."
The biggest Problem for Remake was it was called The REMAKE Not a Reimagined verson, that being said i had a blast playing Ff7 remake, and Only Rebirth is making me consider buying a PS5.
Sure, the voice talent is great, but the voice DIRECTION is awful. I remember in FF7 Remake, where Barrett is explaining mako at Aerith's mom's house, and it just sounds like he's straight-up reading a script. There were no variations in the emotion, not even a feel for urgency, but just this flat read. There was more than one line from the game with many a character, so it's not just Barrett, and it just made me want to pull my hair out. It's not just FF7, either- it seems like Square-Enix just doesn't put enough attention into their voice direction. Bravely Default 2, Triangle Strategy, even the new Dragon Quest Monsters had some offensively- flat moments. I joke with people I know in that SE is the 'King of First Takes' because I feel like they don't give their actors enough room to truly work their magic in the booth. It's proper infuriating.
Well said. I applaud you for not missing out on Rebirth even though it's never gonna be the original. I enjoyed Remake and looking forward to how the story unfolds in Rebirth.
I have been waiting for them release all the parts of FF7 so I i can buy it as a collection. I hate waiting for the next part of a game. The actual FFVII game not the additional stuff.
@@EndThusIAm it’s like saying buy 3 parts of FFXIII, FFXIII-2 and lightning returns (though I find that game extremely similar to the remake) including the dlcs all together in a bundle. Good luck adding on Crisis Core or Dirge of Cerberus too
The Human Brain is a wonderful thing. the amount of Coping on display by Mugen is incredibly. just to bring himself to play this shit. is okay dude play what you like the reason why we will "never get a 1 to 1 remake" is cause gamers don't know how to come together and vote with their wallets.
I was disappointed with Remake but they already fixed many things I didn't like about that game in Rebirth. I'll pick the game up at a discount if they have one. Looks like it could be a good time although I'm getting FF7 burnout. I'm looking forward to the next mainline DQ more.
I find it funny that few people realize that it is highly likely that this games are not reimagining but actually sequels. I think sephirot is changing the timeline, those ghost seem to have something to do with it, the characters think that they are following their fate but sephirot is changing things. How did he survive? They can come up with something 😂. I actually think that if this is actually a sequel it makes it way better than getting just a remake, expanding ff7 is better than repeating the same thing with better graphics. I haven't played the game yet since it won't be completed for many years, but i saw many things that point to this being actually a sequel, especially the confrontation between sephirot and cloud.
I refuse to play Final Fantasy 7 Refake at all, that's why SE is never going to change and just keeps doubling down on the ESG sht, people have no principles.
I’m actually not playing it myself. Don’t want to spoil anything. Been so excited for this game. 7 remake was a masterpiece. Never played original but remake holds a special place in my soul.
I tried the original 7 remake, and wasnt pleased. It’s all due to gameplay and the way they released this game in multiple parts. Shouldve been a single game in the first place and maybe skimp a bit more on the graphics if that is what made this game split into 3 parts
Why would people want the new game to be a perfect replica of the old one? Just play the old one at that point. I welcome the new additions square put on ff7 remake. It made it fun and unique even though the story did not change at all.
I remade a story for a different movie when I was tricked by entertainment system to be too limited and hurt. I liked my older version but I have been enjoying new more because it was a mighty counter to Hollywood. I made it too desperate and felt better while continuing to thrive. I want to enjoy this story, but I lost faith in so many things due to cheap woke people and foils.
I loved FF7 remake and looking forward to 7 rebirth. This and FF16 were/are my most anticipated PS5 games (and games overall). i'm gonna try my best to not play the demo. i'm sold already. even if i play the demo, I'm gonna start from scratch with the game when it releases, so the progress transfer doesn't mean much to me. i'd only play the demo atm to get a sneak peek.
I hated remake's story changes but most of all I DESPISED how it didn't respect my time. 20 hours of shit filler and fluff that was less than. And watching cloud do a gay dance at the bee was horrifying.
the dance itself (and the music itself) was cool. what WASNT cool is the obvious lgtbt pandering behind it all. I didnt like that "Amanda" dude much and the lines he was spewing there.
@@RyuSaarva no, i think they literally meant remaking the story. if its suppose to lead to advent children it seems like sephiroth is trying to remake the story to change his fate. but if I'm wrong (completely possible) then I'll eat that humble pie

That's a take I didn't expect to see lol.
@@MugenLord it’s just that the game is so close and the hype seems to be real. I think the community woulda been okay without it. BUT…I’m not mad they put it out. We need more demos
Can't Wait For This Game 😮
Mugen I wonder what are you thoughts on the continued censorship of the rest of the FFVII remake? Where they removed a joke like Cloud looking taking some of Tifa's panties? I mean you and others have stated how unfair it is that games like the Witcher games, Cyberpunk, BG3, etc. can have as much nudity, sex, violence, but when it comes to games like Resident Evil, FF, it's too much.
Part 1 was was utter garbage, so this prob won't be better. Flabbergasted these characters and the story have been hyped up so much over the years.
Fun fact: I've never played any of the Final Fantasy games, except 14. Though, I am planning on doing a Let's Play marathon where I play all the games on my channel someday 🤔
Oh wow, almost jealous that you will be experiencing most of them for the first time lol.
You should try playing FF16. One of the best and darker Final Fantasy game in the series besides Final Fantasy Type-0
I didn't play the demo, I'm ready for the real game and I don't need the spoilers of the demo
Honestly they should've done what Gamefreak did with Pokemon Brilliant diamond and Shining Pearl when making remakes of old turn based games. No need for the hyper realistic graphics and gameplay changes, just remake the polygon models to a more HD chibi look.
They dont deserve my excitement after they dropped the ball off a 12 story balcony with remake.
I was a FF fan up until 12. 13 made me take a step back, 15 killed all interest forever
It’s just weeb bait now. Music was never good, story was always bad, gameplay is a poor mans action RPG
Nostalgia is a drug, ff was never good
Bros, chocobo racing. Case closed. ... alright I was easy to please. Hope y'all find something to love.
They clearly put a ton of work into the creation of this version just completely don’t understand the changes at all
I'ma lost for words
The first part certainly cut corners, the materia selection was very limited and enemy skill materia had like 4 abilities and only 2 limit breaks per character and only 4 playable characters.
I'm looking forward to it
I’m still looking forward to it, but I don’t blame the people upset by the bait and switch of remake.
Not really. 😂
The 2nd demo, they throw you out in the zone world. You don't start on chapter 3 if transfer. So you start in the middle of chapter 1.

I will wait for trusted reviews of rebirth and even then im not buying it full price. Square needs to learn from its greed.
Midgar is a tutorial. Kalm is backstory. And than the game begins. Fluff is profitable. 300$ instead of 70$
I agree with how attatched to the characters you are. Tbh their the reason I even touched the KH series. I didnt bother with 3 when I heard they weren't in the base game. All it takes for me is to add Cloud and the gang to a project and I'm in. lol
Loved the demo, playing the demo saves some progress for when the game launches if you purchase.
I can't wait to play the full game. I haven't played the demo and i don't want to.
Nomura touch of death tbh game looks amazing but I know that story will be a mess
Im hopping for a real remake of FF7. The "Remake" thing was nice and cheeky for fans, but first-time players don't get it and never will.
I don't even have a ps5 in the first place lol, i guess i'll wait until the pc release in x years...
The fact that people (westerners) STILL don't understand nor grasp what Tetsuya Nomura is doing with FF7's story just baffles me.
I think it is a sequel and sephirot is changing the timeline.
I know it’s not what we wanted but I still want to hang out with the characters again
Same
personally I'm not attached to the original because I only got up to leaving midgar and i know it is totally frustrating for it to not be following the original but i would imagine IF people can kind of just give it a chance, it is kind of exciting that you don't completely know what to expect from this game. thankfully square has did a great job of making sure to preserve the original, bringing it to every modern platform it is important to them but this is also cool because it really doesn't feel half assed in any singular way.
This isn't the last one. But agreed, they could have made one game per the original. Money is the only reason they didn't
Making it a two part would have been cool but then it's about finding the best spot to end the game, since its not exactly OG FF7, they are making new content so it has to make sense to where they want to end each title.
I'm waiting for the inevitable complete ultra super hyper, turbo deluxe, GOTY, definitive, remastered, swing on vines, gamepass, stadia, micro transactions loot box edition.
@@MugenLord if they worked on just that 1 game, put all their studios on it, then they could get it out way sooner. But business wise that isn't sustainable nor does it make sense.
Also the scale of the project. That is also another factor. But yeah I'm waiting until the inevitable complete edition comes out
@scottpilgrim2 Vincent and Cid are in the game but won't be playable till the 3rd game.
I dont like the fact Zack is alive...
I still have some false hope for this game😅
It's good to keep expectations low for this game XD
I'm still gonna be waiting ten more years when there's a version with all three in one package on pc. Will probably be easier for modders.

I too didn't want to play it but then found out there would be a reward for doing so in full game that give extra XP and also some extra supplies.
I tried the original 7 remake, and wasnt pleased.
It’s all due to gameplay and the way they released this game in multiple parts.
Shouldve been a single game in the first place and maybe skimp a bit more on the graphics if that is what made this game split into 3 parts
