The Russians likely didn’t want to take any responsibility whatsoever, especially if evidence from the crash could trace back to them, rather than to birds, fog, or Ukrainians, as they've initially tried to make it look. As for the “foggy airport” explanation, it really seems suspicious. Nowadays planes are well equipped to handle low-visibility landings, and major airports have advanced systems precisely for such scenarios. They were hoping the plane, flying over the sea to another cost, would simply perish along with all the evidence. Now, it shouldn't end with just Putin's apologies - certain additional steps must be taken on their side in accordance with the international procedures
Only because Azerbaijan is an ally of Moscow and even then he couldn't bring himself to admit Russia's guilt. If I was the president of Azerbaijan I would break off diplomatic ties because who needs enemies when you have friends like this?
@@AnastasiaIsabella They admitted it yesterday with out even thinking there was anything wrong .Thet were using situation to "defend them selves from Russian invasion"
So Russia shouldn't have allowed that plane to fly over its airspace if they claimed that it was under Ukrainian drone attack at the time. Just a surprise Putin didn't say it was a Ukrainian drone that was responsible.
When was Putin replaced by the lookalike? Seriously, that's NOT the same man who took power in 1999. I'm not talking about "doubles." I'm talking total replacement. 🤔💯
Do you really think he is sorry or cares about this. He does not.
Exactly
Has any leader from colonial rule apologized for any of the atrocities to date? Other than claiming right to self defence.
@@XenoEXTornado Do you mean Putin? He heads a country that is a colonial ruler, past _and_ present.
The saddest part is no justice shall be served for the victims
He doesn’t care
Where's Joe's apology
he does not care

Putin manages a disingenuous apology. Still, that's a huge improvement from MH17.

He gave condolences. The MSM has their narrative.
Those are “bird” holes in the aft portion of the plane
Yes birds

@@timetraveler9218 When will Russia apologize for bullying most of Europe after WW2?
@@timetraveler9218 Will NATO / Ukraine apologize for using plane as human shield for drone attack .
Putin: sorry buddy but It will be okay, don't worry,I will not repeat
If he cared, he would have himself arrested.
Why the Russian airspace hasn't been closed down
So he apologise means he admitted it they did it 🤔
Waiting for Putin to speak himself
Well that's a first, families of a few hundred civilians from earlier "tragic incidents" like this are still waiting for an apology btw.
This is what a statesman looks like, maybe the UK and the US can learn something today?
Yuck no.

As if things couldn't get any worse for Putin, shooting down a passenger plane belonging to one of your closest allies.😅
I'm sorry your citizens are dead.....omits the part that he is responsible for that.
Will NATO / Ukraine apologize for using plane as human shield for drone attack .
You'd better explain how that would work.
will Russia apologize for their drone attacks? don't think so. this is a war.
It’s horrible that Ukraine used a passenger airline as a shield for its drone attack. Very sinister and cowardly.
And you believe that?
Human shield
