I've been in love with Stryper since "Soldiers" came out, I did not know if they was a Christian band at the time, and i give a good old fashion damm what they are. All i care for is that Stryper is bloody good musicians, nothing else.
These guys are ridiculously good. Looks like I'll need to give them a listen more intently. I'm glad RazorFist got me to give them a listen, since my days as a youth in the late 80s.
Great cover from one of the great bands! I saw these guys in Jersey at the Capitol Theater in the late 80's and it was one of the best concerts I was ever at and I've been to many! ROCK ON STRYPER!!!!!!!!!!
Wooow!!! las guitarras ....a parte que suenan Thrash.....están excelentemente bien sincronizadas y armónicas entre sí...... la voz de MIchael no alcanza pero cumple!!
Recently went back and listened to The Covering and they do a pretty good job on most of their covers. Different sure, but they mostly stick to them while adding their own twist to them.
Stryper are a great band, top quality musicians who stayed true to their beliefs in a scene that really was pushing conformity of a sort. I remember when they started out, they really shook things up. Stryper stand above divisions caused by their faith, they gather respect due to their quality and dedication and the fact that they never backed down before criticism. True Metal!
Its awesome! after so many years these guys still got it! Now much wiser but still rockin! I have lots of respect for those who don't claim to be evangelical Christian and love, respect, & support Stryper. I sulute you! And I luv this song they make it sound good!!!!
I would love to hear you guys do Children of the damned-Iron Maiden. But im not sure how you feel about that one. Excellent voice though.You guys have been rocking my world since 1984.

I got hear them a few years ago in Fridley, Minnesota at a local bar and it was so loud I had to put something in my ears to keep them from blowing out.
Not bad indeed! The music is dead on. I like Bruce's voice better for this song. But that may be just because that is the way I fell in love with the song. Michael has a great voice, so if this was the only version and I'd never heard Bruce do it, I'd still be singing along at the top of my lungs, loving it as a great song!

saw this tour in Pa at a small club (Reverb) they got no promotion & a small turnout but I have to say it didn't affect the performance. True professionals!
Also one of my favorite Maiden songs. I think the guitars sound super great and clean. They have the gallop sound down perfectly, maybe a little better than the original because of technology. But the vocals...sheesh. I think they guy singing the high harmony sounds better than Michael..

I have just watched Richard Herring Stigmata love, that's about where I am with religion. This is the first ever thing I have watched by Stryper.. I was watching Black sabbath's induction on you tube, and there was a neg comment about them, I basically asked them why be so negative. Why hate. Find something you DO like!!!

I've seen both of them live a few times and they both put on killer shows.I think Stryper did the Trooper justice the solo was different but they just put their twist to it and that is cool.Im gonna have to buy this CD if I can find it.
Truly sad that people ignored them because of their beliefs.... they truly are the world's most talented metal/hard rock band, which they have proven over and over

Not too bad. Bruce Dickenson is one of my favorite vocalists. The solo sounded weird after listening to the original for 30 years. haha.
