My pal Samuel suggested I check out your channel. I thru hiked The PMT a few years ago. Water is sparse and the trail is always windy! It was good to reminisce while watching your video.

Hey, it's great to hear from you! Glad I could help you reminisce. I'm going to have to do the entire thru hike one day, because this section was one of my favorite hikes. I really enjoyed watching you and Samuel on the Sheltowee. Maybe I'll see you on the trail one day!

Last Friday I parked where you did and hiked up to the Lemon Squeezer and back. i've hiked bits and pieces of the trail over the last couple of years and if i ever get enough time off hope to hike it all. Great video!

That's a great section of trail. I hope you get a chance to hike the whole thing some day. I know I'd like to do the same thing, maybe after they've finished connecting the different sections. Thanks for checking out my video. Glad you liked it!

Hey great video. I'm hiking this trail soon. Where did you get that trail map you used? I need one of those. Thank you.

The map in the video is one that I bought from the shuttle driver who drove me to the trailhead. I think it cost $16. It was more accurate than the maps available on the Pine Mountain website. If you're not going to use a shuttle, they might be willing to mail you a map. www.pinemountaintrail.com
Thanks for checking out the video! Feel free to ask if you have any other questions about the trail. It's an excellent hike.

@@beyondthecampfire yea. The cranberry glades is super unique, the the cranberry forest (to the north) is covered in moss and pines. It’s one of the few places that doesn’t look and feel like Appalachia

Dude what a great video! You really have a knack for good filming and cinematography while on trail; I need to get some tips from you haha. I can’t believe you did that same trail in those conditions! You deserve your mountaineering badge. Makes me itching to do that Birch Knob section! Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for the kind words! I got so tired of looking at the footage that I couldn't tell whether it was any good or not, so I'm glad to hear you liked it, haha. The conditions were some of the worst I've backpacked in, but it made for a memorable trip. I'd do it again.
