I’m so sorry for the loss of your dad, I feel your pain, my mom pass from cancer. Sending love and prayers 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️. Are you still going to be doing videos on Patreon? Which I do follow you on, I really love your projects! My daughter was also a teacher in Japan. Don’t give up, we love what you’re doing, hang in there, when it rains it pours, however, the flowers will grow!!❤️❤️❤️
Hey Hector, no worries and thanks for the kind words! It's been sometime now, so I'm doing just fine. I will still be doing exclusive videos on Patreon/Channel Members for sure. Glad to hear your daughter also taught in Japan, I'm sure she had a great time! Thank you so much for your support brother!
Hey, thank you. It's good to hear "your" story. I've watched your videos for a long time and they way you explain and video has always been so helpful, I've learned a lot. But connecting with people is the most important thing no matter what we do. Thank you again, I'm glad you didn't quit and found a way to move forward. GOD bless you sir!
Funny enough, I was a security guard when someone introduced me to this channel and launched me into the world of paracording. Relieved you didn't quit and ecstatic that you've expanded into supplies. Paracord sized beads! The one thing I have difficulty acquiring.
Well done man. It can be scary trying to live your dreams. I’m a musician and while I did the formal teaching thing for almost twenty years, I finally left when I realized it wasn’t fun anymore. That was a hard decision because it meant pretty much starting over at 40 years old. I just turned 51, and while it has been bumpy at times, I have had an interesting decade. Your story is an inspiration and reminds me to stay true to my path. Thank you and keep the videos coming. Peace ✌️.
I have been with your channel since the early days and your channel got me through some tough times. Because I use your knots as a meditation, they have brought a lot of peace. Thank you. Further, I am so proud of your 'choices' and your humility - keep on inspiring others!
I was also in Japan (still am actually) during the 2011 quake. Probably one of the most heart-wrenching periods of my life. I'll never forget watching the news, seeing the little girl calling out for her mother. Very haunting. I gave a lot that year.
It was a crazy time indeed, I'm glad you weren't harmed and I hope you weren't too negatively affected. Where about in Japan are you? I lived in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka.
Been watching you for years, you've been one of my go-to channels for easy to follow instructions on knots and weaves. I'm grateful you didn't quit, and I'll buy some paracord from ya to keep this train rolling! I'm sorry about your Dad... lost mine in 2007 and I still miss him.
You can’t put a price on happiness. I’ve followed for a while now and enjoy all of your videos. You make the best tutorial videos hands down. Thank you so much Tim
@@TheWeaversofEternity it was nice to put a face to the voice as well. To see the man behind the wonderful videos. Hold strong, ive lost both parents and was there when they unhooked my mom and watched her take her last breath.
There were very few people that I followed when I first got into Paracord and you were one of the big ones. One of the reasons that I followed. You was your tutorials or very simple and easy to understand and they were classy. They didn’t seem very generic I’m sorry for the loss of your father. I just lost mine back in January and my mother back in 2017. I’m happy to hear that you are starting some new adventures. I will definitely look into joining and thank you for this candid side of your channel.
Thank you for sharing that with me and I appreciate the kind words. I'm sorry to hear about your recent loss, I hope you'll be able to heal and recover in due time. I'm also glad you're ok with me being candid, I wasn't sure how it would be received. We're glad to have you onboard, so thank you so much for your interest!
Thank you for sticking with me! and I really appreciate the kind words. Also... you have a video uploaded to UA-cam 17 on your channel years ago! That's awesome!!! lol
I am so excited for you Tim!!!! I have been following you for SEVERAL YEARS! One of the best moments was when you featured a video from an idea I gave to you on how to get a clean melt connection for those who don’t want to always use the Manny Method… having you credit me for that video was such an honor… I’m not trying to "suck up" either… I was truly touched that you did that,.. I wish you the BEST OF LUCK. IN THIS NEW VENTURE! And I will definitely be signing up for your website …
Holly! I really want to thank you for being such a loyal follower for so long. Your comments never go unnoticed... I mean how could they? lool I still remember that! I've always been thankful for you sharing that and I always do my best to give credit where it's due. Hope you're doing well and thank you again for all the support, I really appreciate it!
I am so glad you did not give up. I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I know first hand the battle of cancer. I have just started my paracord craft journey and your videos are always my go-to. Very easy to follow unlike most I’ve watched. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the comment Tricia! I'm glad I could be your guide into this hobby. I appreciate the kind words and if you ever need help with anything, just drop me another comment! ❤
Your channel was recommended to me by my father. I am thoroughly appreciating it because the winter months are abound, and I need art's like this to keep me from going into my seasonal depression. Thank you!!!
Some years ago i randomly found one of Your videos and i got totally into paracord. Few weeks later i had 0.5km of paracord going to me. Now i've made quite "few" gifts for people around me, used paracord in few scenarios that paradord saved me so much time, fixed small stuff with micro cords. It opened a whole new creativity way. And on top of that. It helps with stress, it helps to calm down SOO much. Thank you for Your job with this channel and i am so glad you did not quit. PS: And i still sometimes forget the damn snake knot haha. And Your video about it is knot simply the best.
Thank you so much for sharing that with me, I'm glad the hobby and channel could enrich your life in such a way. And haha, even I forget some knots sometimes and I have to go back and watch my own videos! lol Thanks again for the support 🙏
I have been doing the paracord hobby for 11 years now, thanks to you and other 'early' creators. If you upload(ed) a video I know (knew) that it's quality content, I'm going to learn from it. I just started making knife photos/reviews, and I look at my knife collection as a scrapbook of some sort; I've been through adventures with them, and I remember when I grab one: this was the exact one with me then and then... This is why I don't sell them 😌
I'm glad I could be of service. I like your philosophy behind looking at your knives with memories attached to them. I feel the same about certain ones that I will never sell as well! I do have some I sold in the past and have regretted so I'm a bit more careful now haha. Thank you for the comment and the support!
I live in Mexico. I was living a little breakdown on my life 😢 and suddenly one day, I saw one of your tutorials. Thanks to your chanel, I was able to heal myself through Paracord and now I have a little business of bracelets, lanyards and small beads. Thank you for your chanel, time and for not leaving this lovely hobby ❤❤❤
I'm so glad to hear that the channel has been here for you and has helped you. I'm really happy to hear you were able to heal yourself with crafting and even create a business with it. It's a pleasure and honor to be of service, but don't ever forget that you got yourself through the dark times. It was all you! Keep going and don't ever stop believing in yourself 🙏
Knot tying is an art form, there's so much more than just Paracord, there are a few channels that I follow that focus solely on all sorts of knots. Thank you for sharing your story, I hope that you continue to grow and expand. Good luck
It's an artform for sure, I hope I can incorporate more of that art form that goes beyond paracord too. I'm glad you're ok with me sharing my story and thank you for the kind words and comment!
@@TheWeaversofEternity perhaps explore some of your traditional knot tying of your culture. I've seen some truly exquisite designs from various Asian cultures.
@@TheWeaversofEternity you asked for suggestions on merchandise, some qualitvy beads or clasps that don't cost a fortune would be nice. Ive seen some really gorgeous stuff for Paracord but refuse to use a $45 clasp on a Paracord bracelet, that's just ridiculous.
I've seen those fancy clasps too and they are super cool. We've been trying to look for a supplier that isn't too expensive, but haven't found one so far. We'll keep looking though! What would you say is a reasonable price for one of those fancy clasps?
@@TheWeaversofEternity $20 US I think is fair. Also, it's not that those fancy clasps and beads aren't worth the money, it just seems ridiculous on Paracord. In my opinion
Hey Tim, I really appreciate the clear and informative videos you produce. I have been watching your knot videos for about half my life and have found learning to tie the very intricate patterns to be almost a meditative practice. Thank you for continuing on. -Kira
Hey Kira, wow... it kind of blows my mind to think that I've been part of half your life. It's a pleasure and honor to be so and I'm glad you've enjoyed the videos. Thank you for sharing that with me and I won't be going anywhere! 🙏
I watched your sternum strap video. 3 days later my sternum strap broke on my 40 liter. I rewatched the video and used black paracord with success. Thank you for that one. Then boom! In this video I hear that you wanted to be a teacher. No wonder I paid attention so much. Sorry for your loss.
I guess my teaching degree did come in handy after all! haha Also, glad to hear the sternum strap video is working out for you. Thank you kindly for the comment and support!
First thought, im sorry to hear about dad. Second thought im glad you are not quitting. I don't watch every video but you are my favorite source when i need a example on how to do something with paracord. Thanks
"Unfortunately, we were really great at painting, but we sucked at business." I FEEL THIS!!😮💨😭 There's LOTS I'm really good at. I would have loved, for example, to make a career as a massage therapist. Feeling sheepish about putting a price on my skills was definitely my biggest challenge! 😥 I'm glad you were able to be there with your dad. I'm glad your channel is here for us. I'm new to this hobby, and look forward to checking out your store! Edit: I just went to sign up, and everytime I clicked the "Sign up now" link it just took me back to the top of the page of "COMING SOON" 😢 I'll try to remember to try again soon 😅
If I can do it, so can you! Wherever life takes you I also hope you are able to do what it is that you love as well🙂 Oh and sorry for the inconvenience about the "Sign Up Now" link, but if you just scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, you should be able to put your email in and submit it. I'll let my team know about the link, thanks for pointing that out!
I'm a retired UK soldier and instructor. Your videos are well-structured and well-delivered. Took this up during the lockdown and You're the go-to video for me. Genuinely glad you haven't given up. Well done mate! Keep it up. I got a shit load more to learn!
Wow! Thank you for sharing and my sincere sympathy for the loss of your Dad. Nice that you had that time with him. I turned to learning how to tie knots when, believe it or not, I was no longer required to wear a neck tie to work (2016). We were also required to wear our ID badges (healthcare). The lanyards provided were rather boring compared to the ties that I wore. While out shopping one day, I discovered a nice lanyard made out of paracord. Bought it, examined it and thought, I can make these. Turned to you tube and found the videos teaching paracord knots and I discovered a new hobby! You helped with so many different knots and I thank you. I just counted and I have 90 paracord lanyards that I made. I learned to add little trinkets to them, gemstones, charms, beads you name it. I even created memorial lanyards, special occasion lanyards, holiday lanyards, I realized I was only limited to my imagination. Well, I had coworkers asking me to make lanyards for them, which turned profitable for me. I really enjoyed making them. I have since retired and I have a ton of paracord and lanyard making paraphernalia left over, as well as all those lanyards that came to replace my neckties. I wanted you to know the impact that you can have on others, those of us who subscribe, watch your tutorials and learn while remaining silent. I'm not one to comment, but that may change. It will help you see the impact you have on your subscribers. Thank you for contributing to my solution for replacing my neck ties 😊
Wow... thank you so much for sharing that with me. I'm glad the hobby has been both enjoyable and even profitable for you! I really wasn't sure how a video like this would be received, but I'm glad I did it as the positive response has been overwhelming. So thank you for commenting even though it's not a habit of yours. I often forget that these videos can go beyond being just a hobby or for fun. Thank you again for the support and I hope you're enjoying a peaceful and fruitful retirement!
I had always done knot work, but mainly those to do with Narrowboats (U.K. canal system traditional canal Narrowboats), later I’d learned a few things when I was a Guide (U.K. Girl Guide not quite the same as Scouts) and my mum was into macrame so I picked up a bit of that. Then years later I wanted to make a bow sling for my husband and th Pericles were shocking to buy so I thought well I can make that…..famous last words. A lot of googling and watching tutorials but none were very clear, until I found you. Amazing, my mum and I would sit at the table and the iPad on its stand and watch pause rewind watch pause rewind. Thanks to you I didn’t just make the bow sling I broadened my skill set and made lots of things from keyrings, bow slings and accessories for archery to medical alert bracelets, a bell pull for a friends last orders bell, a motorbike pocket kick stand foot so it was impossible to forget, a golf ball throwing sling for my dad and my dog, the list goes on. Your channel was my main inspiration and learning. I have a play list of the basics and starter stopper knots decorative knots and playlist of projects to do and that I’ve made. Thanks to you I refound my love of knotting. I also discovered places to find more affordable jewellery making bits after struggling to find Paracord beads in the U.K. when I did find them I found a whole lot more. Thanks to you. Your videos are so clear and you vocalise the instruction very well, your enthusiasm for Paracord is infectious! Through finding decent Paracord supplies I also found proper dog quality webbing and my mum helped me, no I helped mum by making coffee and holding things, she made me a collar for my sprocker as we couldn’t find anything suitable. Paracord was too stiff for her and when wet took forever to dry so webbing was the alternate with ribbon sewed in, I now need to learn how to have a go at it! Again all this was a direct consequence from your videos! It’s amazing where one determination to make a bow sling can then lead. You’re an inspiration and I bet your dad and mum are very proud of you. I just wish your website store was U.K. as I’d definitely be a buyer. Saddy the USA shipping here is scary, I just paid extreme for a no longer made attachment for my dog car crate fan, there isn’t an alternative so I had to do it. Maybe one day when the shipping prices come back to earth. So in the mean time good luck and I wish you nothing but success and happiness and a fulfilled life both in work and at home.😊 and thank you for all your videos before snd to come.😊
WOW! Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I often don't realize how far the ripples of what happens here on this channel will go. I'm so glad to hear that you were able to rediscover your love of knotting and make so many interesting, fun, and useful things with paracord. It's my pleasure and honor to be able to share this hobby with you! As for the US shipping costs, I completely understand! It's quite a long way from US to UK and shipping is never cheap. I still thank you for your interest either way. Thank you again for taking the time to write to me and I really appreciate the kind words and encouragement. All the best! 🙏
I have multiple books on knots but your tutorials are far and away better than any other books or videos I ran across. I’m glad you took time for your dad. Thanks for all your excellent work this far. Looking forward to your store and site.
Paracord tying a small community? You have nearly 900000 subscribers, That's damn good. I was a construction rigger in the 80s and used to tie knots and splice rope for my work. Then I joined the military and I had unlimited access to paracord. On my overseas deployments I would spend my downtime in our accommodation tents or huts practising tying paracord. I even got in trouble once for having turksheads on my rifle. I argued it made it easier for me to find it in a hurry when we had them all on racks outside the chow hall. I'm going to continue to follow you and support your work.
You are correct! almost 900k is by no means small and I didn't mean to downplay it like that haha, I think what I meant was "broad appeal" as in paracord isn't a big niche on UA-cam like some of the other channels out there. That being said, I'm super grateful for what we have here and I don't ever take it for granted. :) Wow, must have been cool to have unlimited paracord! I guess having the turkshead on your rifle wasn't "standard issue"? I didn't realize you weren't able to customize your rifle/kit. Thank you for following along and it's an honor to have you!
Much love man. I picked a few and feel like I’ve mastered them. Eternity knot is by far my favorite. I’ve lost multiple people in my life. And add a knot for everyone of them. Because I know that I will see them in eternity again! Thanks for knot giving up!
That's a beautiful and symbolic way of remembering your loved ones, thank you for sharing such a personal detail like that. And yes, I will knot give up! 😄
Hey man. What I didn’t tell you was that. I struggled with addiction to drugs for over 7 years. And lost everything (well more threw everything) away. When I finally made the decision to get clean. I found your videos. It gave me something to do and keep my mind focused on something other than wanting that one more hit. Thank you for doing what you are doing! You never know who will be watching and how it will affect them. Sorry for your loss man
Wow, thank you for sharing that with me brother. I can only imagine how difficult that must have been to get through. I often don't realize that these videos can go beyond being just for fun or for enjoyment and what they can do for others. Really happy to hear you made the decision to get clean and that you're still going. Keep fighting the good fight and it's an honor to have you along with me on this journey we call life. All the best!
Congratulations! I am such a junkie to your channel... Your videos are easy to follow and your voice is clear and non-abrasive to listen to. Thanks for this space!
Hi Tim! Glad to hear you’re putting up with some other people in your business which is fantastic. And I can’t wait to see your Paracord Weaver online shopping. Great good luck. Dale
I started my paracord hobby back in 2018 myself when I had fell on hard times and went threw a period of homeless. It was one of those things that I discovered I could buy a few hanks from the local army navy and throw in my backpack to carry with me. I was fortunate enough to still keep working during that time but on my off time I spent countless hours watching many of your videos and other channels learning how to make bracelets, keychains, etc whether it was at the shelter or a park. I guess what I'm saying is during one of the toughest times in my life this hobby and a lot of your videos helped me get through. Even still today it's a major hobby that I consider making a part time business out of since I'm still with the same job I had 6 years ago.
Wow... thank you for sharing that with me. It must have been so difficult getting through a time like, I can only imagine. I often don't realize how videos like this can go beyond just being for fun or a hobby and I'm really glad this channel helped you during those rough times. I truly hope you're doing well and I wish you all the best!
I'm glad you got to spend so much time with your dad before he passed. Personally I prefer brass over plastic /nylon hardware when I'm working with Paracord
Been watching your channel since 2018. Your videos got me to the level weaving Im on now. Every time someone asks me how I made a bracelet I point them to your videos. Having a new weavers of eternity patreon video some paracord and a small bottle of Jim bean has gotten me through some tough times. I thank you and wish the best for you.
Thank you for sticking with me for so long. I'm glad Tim and Jim were able to get you through those tough times! I hope you're doing well now and I too wish you the best, I appreciate the support!
Your Chanel was my inspiration that drove me into paracord stuff. Maybe there are others, but with no doubt your is the best. I lost my mum last year after a couple of hard years, and had the chance to spend some time with her those last times. Every time a son has a chance to do this, these events are an opportunity life gives us to return our parents a small part of the love they gave us while we grew up. And not everyone can, so your dad had the huge fortune to have you there when he needed you.
I'm honored to hear that I could inspire you and thank you for sharing your loss as well, I'm happy you had the ability to spend time with her. You are absolutely correct as well, it was a great way to give back what I could to him before he left as well. Thank you for those meaningful words, I really appreciate it! 🙏
Glad to see you making positive moves, Steve. I've been with you for about twelve years and learned quite a lot from you during that time. Wishing you all the best and I hope you are successful and can finally find yourself and have some serenity in your life.
You have nearly a million followers doing paracord. That's incredible. You've helped me learn a lot as well, so I hope you never go anywhere. Good luck with the business.
It's quite mind blowing when I think about it, and I'm very grateful to have that kind of following on such a niche hobby. UA-cam is my home so I'm definitely staying, thank you for the words of encouragement!
Dude! After following you for years, it’s so awesome to hear your story and to see you succeeding like this! Keep up the hard work! Absolutely amazing, bro! Also- it would be nice to see a simple, cheap little spool to store and carry Paracord on. I know there are fancy ones available, but if you’re a person that has LOTS of colors of paracord and they all just come in a hank, it would be nice to have a cheap alternative just for storage. Again, keep making moves bro! Your work is unparalleled!
Thanks so much for the update. I'm all signed up. While I'd encourage you to stick with your Paracord weaving tradition, consider adding an occasional video about tying & using various knots. You explain things well and many people are interested in which knot to use for various applications. Also, keep bringing projects for various sizes of cord - from micro to 550. Grandchildren under age 10 sometimes want a bracelet or necklace made from something lighter in weight. Eager to see the next videos!
You're welcome and thank you for signing up! I've definitely been wanting to do more practical knot tying videos. I've done some in the past, but I do plan on getting those back into the rotation of content. I'll also definitely keep in mind the thinner cord projects. Thank you for the suggestions!
Thank you for opening up. Takes a leap of faith sometimes to put your heart on the line. I'm fairly new to the paracord world but I've really enjoyed following along to your tutorials. I started early 2023 and it's been such a blessing for me. It's allowed me to create and when doing that, become a better me. Funny enough I started by wanting a lanyard for my knife and the options, although there and plentiful, were quite expensive. So that led me down a rabbit hole that I'm still in a year later. Lol. Really just wanted to say I'm glad you not only stayed with us but are going all in. Good luck and can't wait to see what the future holds.
Thank you for that comment, I appreciate you sharing your story as well. Glad you found the channel and that it's been serving you well. Thank you for the words of encouragement and I appreciate the support!
We hope to provide the best supplies for this hobby out there, have fun with the guitar strap. If you ever run into any problems, be sure to drop me another comment!
I love your videos. Do what you need to do, but know that you have really reached my love of parracord and knotting. Thank you so much for your videos.
Tim, thank you so much for your high-quality videos! I am so glad you are staying in the business and taking it to the next level. I am a high school art teacher, and I have an opportunity once a week to offer three periods of enrichment courses for any of the student body who want to sign up. One of my offerings is weaving with paracord, and we have followed many of your tutorials. I have many return students who are always enthusiastic about whatever we are making for the day. I am wondering, now that you are partnering with SpeedyJig, if you all might consider offering class sets of jig kits at a bulk price. Weaving is one of our art standards, and I like to make our projects relevant. Paracord bracelets are very popular for this age group, but buying 40 jigs can be costly. They would be much easier for some of my beginners (some special needs kiddos, too, developing their fine motor skills) to use as they are just learning. Would appreciate if you all would consider this, and thank you again for being such a great teacher! That Ed. degree you earned has paid off for all of us who have benefitted from your easy-to-follow instructions, your creative delivery (Ninja Stars!), your patient approach, and your sense of humor. Well done, you! 😊
Hi Kathryn! That's so great to hear that you're offering paracord as an enrichment course. I'm glad to hear the kids have been enjoying the hobby and looking forward to it. I will definitely ask my team at SpeedyJig about this! In the meantime, could you send me an email at weaversofeternityinfo@gmail.com just so that I have your contact information? It'll be much easier for me to get back to you that way. I also appreciate the kind words, thank you!
Looking forward to the new website. I would love to see some of the jigs you have used over the years. I love the wood jigs with various tie off points. Bestof luck on the new company. I will definitely support it.
We're in the process of designing and manufacturing our very own jigs. They will be comprised of both metal and wood parts with a lot of versatility. I'll be sure to keep you posted. Thank you so much for the support!
Thank you very much for sharing your story. Thank you also for all the great videos over the years, I first saw one of your youtube videos in 2015 and have been watching ever since. Wishing you the best in your new venture. Can't wait to check out your online shop.
I am a more recent subscriber but have watched for quite a while, and you have the best videos I’ve seen. Like some of these other people have said you made the right decision to spend that time with your dad. It gives you so many good memories and is just something you treasure. And congratulations on the new deal!
Thank you for joining me on this channel! It was definitely the right decision and I never once regretted it, it means a lot to hear that from you and other people as well. Thank you so much for the support!
It's good to finally put a face to the voice. Thanks for hanging in there, you've been my go-to paracord channel for a couple years now. Question. How would you compare your cords rigidity to Atwood Rope's cord?
Thank you for the support! In terms of the rigidity, we'll be carrying nylon paracord. I haven't personally handled Atwood Rope in a long time, but if it's also nylon it should be very comparable.
Sou brasileiro e assisto o seu canal sempre que posso! Você já me ensinou muito e se tornou uma referência para pessoas que gostam de Paracord pelo palneta! I'm Brazilian and I watch your channel whenever I can! You've already taught me a lot and have become a reference for people who like Paracord across the planet!
Thank you for the heartfelt message. i hope all is well with your father. i myself found Paracording recently and love the hobby and your videos, all signed up and waiting for the site to launch. one thing i am always looking for and never seem to find is decent metal buckles, and i might add a good paracord site in general. cant wait!
I'm glad you're ok with me sharing my story and message. I really appreciate the support, I'll mention the metal buckles to my team, thank you for the suggestion!
cool, signed up just now. i have made many of your projects with my grandson. he really likes his mini nun chucks and made his own paracord bracelet using your jig. condolences on the loss of your dad.
Thank you for signing up! I'm glad the channel and hobby is something you and your grandson can bond over and spend quality time on, thank you so much for your comment and sharing that with me 🙏
I'm so happy you're doing what makes you happy. I searched through a lot of videos to get started myself. Then I found you. Thanks for the many great videos! Plus a clear and pleasant voice, along with detailed, and repetitive content done at the perfect pace. Congratulations 🎉
I got into weaving from a hippy traveler who had hemp rope making bracelets and necklaces had shown me a bit about it and sold me the bracelet that got me started in square knots but I quickly forgotten how to do it properly and then one YT search I found your videos Ty for being a helpful instructor. This was back in like 2012-2013 when I started.
I remember making one of those hemp rope bracelets as a kid in summer camp! Glad you found my videos and thank you for your support, I'm glad I could be of service 🙏
As someone with a media arts degree from the same era as you, I feel like we have had some similar experiences, between working jobs outside of where you want to be, and needing to be there for your family, most particularly your father. I put on your videos often just because of the calming nature of your voice and editing; that's beyond the skills you share with us all. Keep doing what you're doing, I'm going to be here for the ride
Thank you for those words, I truly hope you're also able to do what you love and thrive/prosper while doing it (or continue to do so if you are already). I'm glad you enjoy the content and it's an honor to have you along for the ride!
wow first off my condolences for your pop. the time we are able to spend with our loved ones is priceless. im sure you know the hard times and happy can be so valuable for our life. i appreciate your videos, been a sub for a while, and im really excited for this next venture you're giong in on. your videos have helped me out alot, ive tried to read some books about paracord knots and weaving and theres just more understanding that comes through when there is a real person on the other end talking and showing you through. so thanks for that. it will be cool to see the products that come out. where im at it can be difficult to find things that locally that dont strike me as low quality. so i will be looking forward to what you guys produce. i hope things go well in this next phase for you, ill be happily watching along with many others. blessings on your way bro.
Thank you for the kind words and I fully agree with you! I appreciate you sticking with me and the channel, I'm glad I could be of service. We'll definitely be doing our best to carry only the best paracord products. We will have both USA made cord and budget overseas cord on the site, but it will be fully transparent as to what you're getting. Thank you for the blessings and I wish the same to you! 🙏
Thank you for sharing your story. It was heartwarming, and i enjoyed hearing more about you and how your journey began. I have been a follower for some time now and have always enjoyed your content and clarity on knots. Your channel has and will always be my reference for knots and paracord. Thank you so much. 😊👍
You're welcome and thank you for listening to my story, I really wasn't sure how it would be received or if anyone would care. So hearing so many positive comments in turn warms my heart. I'm glad the channel could be of service! Best of luck on your UA-cam journey as well, if you ever need any tips just leave me a comment!
I’m happy you didn’t quit your videos are great I found your channel and first class amateur to be fantastic when it comes to knots I’ve been subscribed for some years and I appreciate the time you put in
Thank you so much for the kind words. First Class Amateur is awesome! I'd say one of the best channels for practical knots out there. Thank you for sticking with me and all the support!
I've been watching for a couple of years. You helped me make a couple of gifts for some special people in my life. Glad to hear your keeping it going and have some ownership in the products. Maybe now I'll start getting more serious.
Glad I could be of service! Handmade gifts are very underrated these days and I think a thoughtful handmade gift is just as good if not better than something store bought 😁 We'll be sure not to disappoint with the new store!
@@TheWeaversofEternity anyone who gets a handmade gift from me, definitely appreciates it. They know it's not about the $, as I could buy something considerably more expensive, but they understand my heart and appreciate my time and thoughtfulness. Thank you
For your new website, you should sell sling straps and EZshoot sling swivel mounts. I've made alot of rifle/shotgun slings and it would be nice to buy them from 1 website instead of multiple.
Sorry to hear about your dad, I think you did the right thing. I'm relieved you didn't quit this channel because you're the best paracord channel on UA-cam, I've learned a lot from you and you're very good at instructing, you would've made a great school teacher if you pursued that career instead. Looking forward to your new business and will be signing up as soon as I send this comment. 👍
I have watched you for a few years. You have taught me so much. I would love your store to have micro cord. I only know of one place to get it. Thanx so much. Good luck in your new adventure. ❤
Thank you so much for sticking with me, I really appreciate the support! We currently have mirco cord in stock and we'll be adding more colors as we continue to operate.
Funny how things work out like with your Paracord video's. Glad you stuck with it. Best of luck on the new business... I'll be checking into it. (Kudos for stepping up with your Dad!)
Hey Tim, I can't tell you how much your channel has inspired me. I'm from Nairobi, Kenya (all the way in East Africa) and your channel really influenced how I got into paracord. If there is one thing I would love to see on your site, paracord beads...most vendors are super exclusive and expensive...not really suitable for someone getting into the craft. It can be basics like bow shackle, wooden beads or plastic...there can also be unique pieces And also different sizes of paracord like size "95", "275" and microcord
Wow! It still amazes me to this day how UA-cam can reach so many people all over the world. It's my pleasure and honor to know that I've inspired you, it really means a lot! I will pass those notes onto my team during our next meeting so thank you for the suggestions!
Your channel, your projects made me come closer to my mom during the pandemic and for that, I'll be eternally grateful. I hope everything gets better and better for you brother! Keep it up cause you're an artist!
I'm really glad to hear that the videos gave you something for you and your mom to bond over! Thank you for sharing that with me and I really appreciate the kind words and encouragement! 🙏
I remember that diamond knot knife lanyard video. (As well as the pocket paracord nunchaku. LOL) I think every paracord project I've done the past few years, save a shepherd's sling, has come from this channel. Obviously, that means nothing substantial to anyone but me. But, for what it's worth, thanks for the content. It has enriched my skill and, when I think about it, my life. My best wishes on the new venture.
You're most very welcome and it actually means a lot to me, so thank you for mentioning that! I have plans to revisit both the paracord nunchaku and the shepherd's sling with improved design, so stay tuned for that. I'm glad the channel has been able to serve you, thank you so much for your support! 🙏
The support in views will certainly continue and as I already purchase a lot of my supplies for projects online (having given up on local "craft stores" that usually don't have the items, or are inferior quality) I am sure I'll be a patron of your new venture as well.
Maybe featuring a Marlin Spike knife would be a good fit for the shop. There are a few companies that make them, and they're not too much. It's a nice tool to have around for paracrafting.
We will will have marlinspikes in our inventory, but we will definitely be making our own marlinspike at some point. Something ideal for the paracord hobby, thank you for the feedback!
Dude, thank you so much for sharing your story, all your hard work, and commitment! I started this journey with a random trip to the hardware store. Passed by some Paracord and thought I think folks make things from this... Pulled up UA-cam right there and the rest is history as they say lol. Your videos made the difference. Greatly appreciated 🙏🏼
That's cool! Who would have thought you'd pick up a new hobby on such a whim. I'm glad you went with your instincts and found this hobby and I'm glad the videos could be of service. Glad to have you along with me on this journey and be a part of it! 🙏
Your channel was one of the main reasons why I was attracted by paracord tying. Your pleasant, well mannered way to produce your video tutorials was a great source of inspiration to me. Our community is neither the biggest of UA-cam nor the most lucrative for content creators, but we should never give up with what makes our heart beat faster. Knitting our little objects made of paracord is a precious private space of creativity that allows each of us to forget for a while the too many wrong things that happen around us everyday, the purest definition of a creative hobby. I wish you your new initiatives will gain the full success you aim to, and will increase the relevance of your channel because you really deserve it.
Thank you for that thoughtful comment Rick! I'm thankful and grateful for our community we have here even though it's a small niche compared to a lot of what else is on UA-cam for sure. I've always thought about how this hobby is just about the paracord so I've never been one to complicate it with anything else. I appreciate your support and the kind words 🙏
Love the channel. My daughter and I have followed a lot of your tutorials. My favorite paracord channel by far. Thanks for opening up to us all and sticking it out. We are thinking about doing a space net next. Have you done one of those yet? Also, my first knife was a spyderco. It was a really cool one with the blade hollowed out to have a web and a spider. It don't look like they make anything that fancy anymore.
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad both you and your daughter enjoy the channel, I hope it's given you both something to bond over and spend quality time doing. I've been meaning to do a net tutorial, so thank you for the reminder. Also, I know which spyderco you're talking about, that's a really cool one! I appreciate the support and comment 🙏
You have played a big part in my life , your tutorials have helped me immensely and I’m forever grateful to you and your talent on helping me and others with your awesome vids … take care my friend !
DUDE. thank you!! i literally grew up watching your videos and making each bracelet or keychain that you posted. i signed up and will support you as long as you decide to keep posting!
Wow! Thank you for sticking with me for so long, it's almost surreal to hear that somebody grew up watching the channel. Thanks for signing up and I really appreciate the support! 🙏
Longer jigs are definitely something we'll be working on! Also, notes taken for the plastic water bottle holder pieces, I'll see what we can do! Thank you for the suggestions
Thanks for sharing your journey! I lost my dad when I was much younger but your story resonated deeply. I found your vids because I started making lanyards for my knives just a few months ago and your videos have been my curriculum (sometimes watching at half speed). Thank you for the hours of joy you've given me. Also...I lived in Japan for 16 years, left a year before the Tohoku quake but it still hit me hard. Anyway, I'm so glad you're sticking with it and starting the new business. I signed up!
Hi Daniel, thank you for sharing that with me. I hope you still have fond memories of your dad that you cherish to this day. Glad I could be of service with the lanyard tutorials. I apologize if I go too fast sometimes, I've been making videos for so long that I often don't realize it haha. Wow, 16 years in Japan! That's quite some time. Whereabouts were you? I often think about how I should have stayed longer, but I guess everything happens for a reason. Thank you so much for signing up!
I have been following paracord weavers for @ 3 years. I had spinal surgery and needed something to occupy my mind..so I had done some Keychain lanyards years ago but wanted to make "Survival Bracelets" . With the tutorials on this channel I made several and then learned to make monkey fists and my cats loved me.. I just signed up for the advanced news letter.. best wishes on this new endeavor. I'm sorrynto hear of your father passing..I lost my dad to dementia in 2019.. Now let's get to weaving. I believe your new channel will do great.
Sorry to hear about your dad as well, I've only read about and watched videos about dementia, so I can only imagine how hard it would be to deal with. I'm glad the videos have been helpful with your recovery, I hope you're doing better now. Thank you so much for the support!

Thank you for not quitting... Your channel is my go to for knors and bracelet ideas... Thank you
Can't stop, won't stop! Haha, I'll be sure to keep making content. Thank you for the support!
Mine too! There’s so many channels but this is my Favorite one!
Funny enough, I was a security guard when someone introduced me to this channel and launched me into the world of paracording. Relieved you didn't quit and ecstatic that you've expanded into supplies. Paracord sized beads! The one thing I have difficulty acquiring.
Haha, how about that! I'll be sure to pass the note about paracord sized beads onto my team. Thank you for the comment, much appreciated!
So sorry for your loss. Glad you’re not leaving doing paracord crafts. Can’t wait to see whats coming in June.
Thank your for the comment and support, there will be many more paracord crafts coming!
Hey thank you so much for following along on the journey. I really appreciate the kind words and support so you're most very welcome!
I just started learning this so glad you are staying. Sorry for your loss. Keep the love for things that bring you joy.
Glad to have you aboard. Thank you for the comment and I'll be sure to do so, hope you are as well! 🙂
Thanks for sticking around! Best paracord vids around🙌🏽
Thank you for sticking with me! and I really appreciate the kind words. Also... you have a video uploaded to UA-cam 17 on your channel years ago! That's awesome!!! lol
I am so excited for you Tim!!!! I have been following you for SEVERAL YEARS! One of the best moments was when you featured a video from an idea I gave to you on how to get a clean melt connection for those who don’t want to always use the Manny
Method… having you credit me for that video was such an honor… I’m not trying to "suck up" either… I was truly touched that you did that,..

Glad you didn't give up. I enjoy your videos. Sorry to hear about your dad. As the sayings go as one door closes another opens. Your door has opened.
That is definitely true, thank you very much for your comment, I really appreciate it!
Congratulations on the next chapter. Follow your heart and never get lost. Bravo.
Thank you for the support brother, I'll be sure to and I hope you are as well. Hold fast and stay the course! ⚓
please don't give up!
I find your video instructions very clear and easy to understand.
I don't ever plan to! 😃 Thank you for the compliments, I really appreciate it! 🙏
So thankful that you didn't quit. Love your videos and use them frequently.
First thought, im sorry to hear about dad. Second thought im glad you are not quitting. I don't watch every video but you are my favorite source when i need a example on how to do something with paracord. Thanks

I'm a retired UK soldier and instructor. Your videos are well-structured and well-delivered. Took this up during the lockdown and You're the go-to video for me. Genuinely glad you haven't given up. Well done mate! Keep it up. I got a shit load more to learn!
Thank you so much for the support and sticking with me! I'll be sure to keep the content and videos coming, I appreciate you!
Even when content lulled this has been one of the better and clear videos for weaving and knots I've used.
Glad I could be of service, thank you for the comment!
I have multiple books on knots but your tutorials are far and away better than any other books or videos I ran across. I’m glad you took time for your dad. Thanks for all your excellent work this far. Looking forward to your store and site.
I'm glad the videos have been helpful and you're very welcome Keith. Thank you so much for the support!
Keep it up Tim - You've helped a lot of people - myself included - My go-to paracord channel!
I'm glad you got to spend so much time with your dad before he passed.
Personally I prefer brass over plastic /nylon hardware when I'm working with Paracord
Thank you! And I'll pass that note onto my team about the hardware, thank you for the input.
This is great news. It will be nice to have a direct source for project material. Glad you stuck around!
Thank you Melinda, we'll be sure to carry the best stuff for the projects and crafts!
Love your videos. Not everyone has the patience to tie knots. It’s almost headed to be a lost art. Thank you for your videos.
I'm so glad you do and yes, there is definitely an art to this. I hope I can keep it alive through the content. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you so much for sticking with me throughout this journey! I really appreciate the comment and I wish you the best as well 🙏
I love this channel and so glad you are still doing it. Will definitely visit the store
Glad you're enjoying it, thank you for the support!
You've come such a long way, Tim. Congrats.
It's kinda crazy how long it's been when I think about it, but I'll continue to keep doing my best and improving for you all, thank you! 🙏
Love this channel. Informative and useful. Thanks for the personal touch. Keep on keeping on!
Thank you Thomas, I'm glad you don't mind me sharing my story. I will keep on for sure! haha 😀
Glad your sticking around. It’s hard to find quality paracord supplies. At the moment I’m working on a guitar strap
We hope to provide the best supplies for this hobby out there, have fun with the guitar strap. If you ever run into any problems, be sure to drop me another comment!
I love your videos. Do what you need to do, but know that you have really reached my love of parracord and knotting. Thank you so much for your videos.
I'm glad to hear you do. You're most very welcome and thank you for your support!
Thank you for speaking from your heart. It's good to put a face to a beautiful voice.
Thank you, I'm glad you appreciate it. I was unsure of how a video like this would be received, so I'm relieved to see such a positive response. 🙏
Thank you very much for sharing your story. Thank you also for all the great videos over the years, I first saw one of your youtube videos in 2015 and have been watching ever since. Wishing you the best in your new venture. Can't wait to check out your online shop.
I'm glad you're ok with me sharing my story Nathan, thank you so much for sticking with me for so long and all the support! 🙏
Thank you for your support from Brazil! It's an honor to be your teacher 🙏
I'm glad the channel and hobby is something you and your grandson can bond over and spend quality time on, thank you so much for your comment and sharing that with me 🙏
Thank you for making this channel.
You are the first channel I go to for anything paracord.
Thanks again. I will be shopping at your online store.
It's an honor to be your go to! I thank you for your future patronage and we'll be sure not to disappoint!
Congrats!!!, you're giving the Channel a new twist which is always good, New products, projects and adding tools that's great!!!, keep going 👌🙌
Thank you! I've got a lot of great content and projects planned so I will be sure to keep going as long supporters like you will have me! 🙏
I'm so happy you're doing what makes you happy. I searched through a lot of videos to get started myself. Then I found you. Thanks for the many great videos! Plus a clear and pleasant voice, along with detailed, and repetitive content done at the perfect pace. Congratulations 🎉
You're so very welcome! I'm glad you found my channel and that it was helpful to you, so thank you so much for the kind words and support! 🙏
Your channel has helped my paracord journey so much. Can't wait to become a customer 👍👍
Awesome video Tim. I am so excited to share this next journey with you.
Thank you Mark! This next part of the journey wouldn't be possible without you, cheers brother! 🍻
I come back to your tutorials all the time! Good luck on this new venture. I can't wait to check out your store!
Thank you! I'm glad the channel is a useful resource for you, the support is greatly appreciated!
Sorry about your loss. Love your Chanel.
Thank you, I appreciate that very much 🙏
As someone with a media arts degree from the same era as you, I feel like we have had some similar experiences, between working jobs outside of where you want to be, and needing to be there for your family, most particularly your father.
And I am soooooooo glad you NEVER GAVE UP!!!!!
Just signed up for your new website… can’t wait to see what you do next!!!!
Thanks for signing up! 🙏
wow first off my condolences for your pop.
the time we are able to spend with our loved ones is priceless. im sure you know the hard times and happy can be so valuable for our life.
i appreciate your videos, been a sub for a while, and im really excited for this next venture you're giong in on.
your videos have helped me out alot, ive tried to read some books about paracord knots and weaving and theres just more understanding that comes through when there is a real person on the other end talking and showing you through. so thanks for that.
it will be cool to see the products that come out. where im at it can be difficult to find things that locally that dont strike me as low quality. so i will be looking forward to what you guys produce.
i hope things go well in this next phase for you, ill be happily watching along with many others. blessings on your way bro.
Handmade gifts are very underrated these days and I think a thoughtful handmade gift is just as good if not better than something store bought 😁
We'll be sure not to disappoint with the new store!
Noted, thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you for sharing your journey! So glad you didn’t give up on such an amazing and rewarding “hobby”! ❤
Thank you for listening to it! I appreciate your support and I'm definitely sticking with this "hobby" for the long term! 😂🙏
Thank you so much for those words! Also, I appreciate you signing up, we'll be sure not to disappoint!
Hey thanks so much for the comment and the support, I really appreciate it! 🙏
Cool marlin spikes!
Solid ones with out storage in the center.
Thank you! And can't wait for site to start!
Good luck!
Thank you, we can't wait either! 🙏
Hey Tim,
I can't tell you how much your channel has inspired me. I'm from Nairobi, Kenya (all the way in East Africa) and your channel really influenced how I got into paracord.
If there is one thing I would love to see on your site, paracord beads...most vendors are super exclusive and expensive...not really suitable for someone getting into the craft. It can be basics like bow shackle, wooden beads or plastic...there can also be unique pieces
And also different sizes of paracord like size "95", "275" and microcord
Wow! It still amazes me to this day how UA-cam can reach so many people all over the world. It's my pleasure and honor to know that I've inspired you, it really means a lot! I will pass those notes onto my team during our next meeting so thank you for the suggestions!
Also...professional jigs...maybe if possible custom ones?
We're in the process of designing our own jig and we do have plans to make some much nicer/fancier custom jigs as well!
LOL)
I think every paracord project I've done the past few years, save a shepherd's sling, has come from this channel.
Thanks for the update, I want to get back into doing paracord items.
You're welcome, I hope you do at some point and have fun with it again!
Thank you so much for those words, it's a pleasure and honor to be part of your life! You take care as well and all the best!
I've only been into paracord a few years now. It was your tutorial on the Thor's Hammer that got me interested. Thanks for all the tutorials!
You're most very welcome!
DUDE. thank you!! i literally grew up watching your videos and making each bracelet or keychain that you posted.
i signed up and will support you as long as you decide to keep posting!
Wow! Thank you for sticking with me for so long, it's almost surreal to hear that somebody grew up watching the channel. Thanks for signing up and I really appreciate the support! 🙏
Would definitely like to see longer jigs and also the plastic water bottle holder pieces it’s hard to find for the larger water bottles.
