I grew up in the 80s I miss the 80s BAD! Back in summer 2020 (during Covid) I'm wearing a mask, all depressed as hell, I heard this one come over the radio, depression turn to swooning, like I wanted to dance and cry all at once! 💖

Too much reverb, and the vocals are decent but not much more.
He sounds a bit like Paul Young (R.I.P.). I think he does well and I hope they will come to my country soon as well.

One of my favorite songs ... and, although the band is not near the original, the guitar, the bass and drums are, IMOH, better arrangements.

It's way too loud in the mix. If it was balanced it wouldn't seem so overdone. Which it definitely was.
