Peugeot 308 with 1.6VTi engine (same engine is build in MINI also) , and it is very specific engine with lots of things that can and do go wrong. What can we do about oil consumption (some says replacment of the PCV valve solves the problem but I kinda do not believe in that statement). Also I found data that PCV valve causes Anti Pollution fault. I have had 3 times in the last 3 years Antipollution fault code and 2 times the reason was spark plugs, and one time it was coil pack.

Hi. Sorry for delay. Did you plug a diagnostic tool to start with? A scanner which is able to scan the gearbox. I believe is something making the gearbox doing that. If check engine light is on it must be plug to a machine 1st. Do you have someone who can plug it,?
Hi. Because the resistance of the sensor goes bad, its better idea to replace it. Otherwise you will have issues will the time for not reading correctly. 🙂

can it help sometimes cleaning only (like on some other videos but with petrol engines) or you need new one
