    Great video, thanks. The glow plug is the starting heater in a diesel, in English with the petrol engine we should call them spark plugs.

      @michael junior thanks buddy. Is any lights on when hesitation happening? If u can heard something u need have your car check by mechanic to make sure it dont get worse. I wish i could help u more. Witout see the car is difficult to know what is.

    Great video nuno mate 👍🏻😊 Im having this issue on a 2005 Citroën C4 hatchback 1.6 16v thatvive just aquired. Anti pollution warning and OBD code P0304 (cam shaft sensor bank A) car is driving ok although using 2-3 times more fuel than normal 😢😢😢 Ive been told 5 different fixes by 5 different mecanics 😅😅😅😅

    Thank you for this video. My Problem: (i) "Depollution" warning on dashboard. (ii) On engine start up my 'radiator fan' switches on and runs for about 5 mins after engine switch off! Wow, faulty coil packs, faulty spark plugs and/or even faulty injectors could be the cause? Hopefully your 'injector' replacement video will provide the solution. Looking forward to finding it. Thank you so much!

      @@axores20 Hello my friend,i have a Peugeot 207 1.6 turbo 2010 model year,and it popped the anti-pollution fault message, the car feels terrible,no power,very slow and i feel the turbo doesn't spool at all,i also have the engine light on,my mechanic thinks that is probably the turbo,what do you think?Thank you very much.

      @@dimis386 hi. Is the car misfires ? Best thing to do is connect a diagnostic tool then u can see whats the problem. But im sure is something to do with coil pack or spark plug 🙂

      @@dimis386 if is not misfires and the only issues is the power then could be the turbo some valve not opening or operating correct. He's able to connect the diagnostic tool?

    If you drive your car more likely for short distances then engine will not get hot enough to start the regenerating process to clean the cloged particulate filter resulting in a antipollution
    fault.
    Drive your car to a motorway or empty dual carriage way (best in nights). The temperature meter should be showing above 60°C when you begin with this process. Place 3rd gear and drive your car at 3000-3500 rev /min for 15 to 20 minutes to let the ecu to kick the regeneration process. Keep driving car for 15 minutes in this state will be enough to clean your catalytic converter and your problem will be solved. But if it doesn't then the problem is with your catalytic converter and more probabily you need to change it.
    This worked for me 100%👍😁✌️

    Tengo un 307 2.0 al que cambie las bujías (también un poquito manchadas de aceite) y la bobina (en mi caso es sólo una pieza) pero para mí sorpresa ahora el coche arranca y al momento se cala! Se oye cómo un vacío (como cuando se descorcha una botella). Alguna sugerencia antes de llevarlo al mecánico? No dispongo de tester, gracias.
    Como se puede colaborar con el canal?

    I had the same problem with cylinder 3 code, car had only 90tkm on it. I figured it was the coil by changing the coil from cyl 3 to cyl 1 and the code changed to cyl 1.
    To reduce future problems i did change all the coils and all the spark plugs to new ones.

    Peugeot 308 benzinac 1.6 2008 godište. Kupio sam auto u Beogradu. Jako loše održavan i kod slabih majstora. Posle 3 meseca i mnogobrojnih sitnih ali i krupnih popravki doveo sam auto u solidno stanje. Ostao je jedan krupniji problem. Ček endžin pali ali i gasi. Izbacuje grešku depollution system faulty, neravnomeran rad motora na manjim obrtajima, štucanje, zakasnelo primanje gasa, par puta rad na 3 klipa i skoro obavezno uključivanje ventilatora hladnjaka čak i kada je motor hladan. Dolazilo je često do pražnjenja akumulatora. Nakon mnogobrojnih tumačenja problema krenuo sam da sa majstorom rešavam jedan po jedan problem. Zamena dihtunga poklopca motora komplet, tom prilikom očišćeno ulje koga je bilo prilično oko svećica. I dalje problem. Proveren prednji solenoidni ventil koji ima veze sa podmazivanjem bregaste osovine i zamenjene svećice. Ček endžin ugašen ali se ponovo upalio veoma brzo. Poslednje što ću probati je da otkrijem koja bobina ili više njih ne radi dobro. Nadam se da je to rešenje. Javljam ako rešim problem.

    Trying to fix an anti pollution fault on a 1343cc BMW MINI One engine: game through the fault codes in turn: exhaust and intake camshaft solenoids then timing chain tensioner. The chain did have a little slack I imagine the timing varied outside 'vanos' limits.

    Thank you for this video. In my little experience, when there is vibration, it is usually the coil pack rather than spark plug. With my good old golf I would literally pull the coil pack out while the engine is running, if you take the coil out and it makes no difference that means coil is bad, if on the other hand you notice the engine slowing down that means coil works fine.

      I already chg the spark plug and coil plug but it still came out with engine fault and OBD shows that cylinder 3 misfire but coil plug I checked is tightly connect to the engine no loose...... Spark plug and coil plug are new so I am really now sure whats the problem there..... Thinking of you might know what's going on? 😅

      By the way is a 308 turbo.... Really struggle TT first I only chg the battery recently but fault code came out and already cleared it and settled... Few days ago just chg spark plugs and engine fault came out shows misfire so I thought it could be the plug coil too old cuz 4 plug coil already rusted so I chg it a new one and already tried to clear DTC but it came out fault code again and shows what I have said just now misfire in cylinder 3 ( new plug coil already checked it is not loose)
      Heard from my colleagues they said could be high pressure pump.... But I am really not sure I am a bit worried on wasting money on the wrong problem

      Hi. Yes like i said in the video, the scanner was saying is misfire on cylinder 1 or 2, what happen is u have to know where the cilinder one is, side of the timing /chain or flywheel side. This was the problem i was having on the video. I will recommend change 4 sparks plugs and coil packs for peace of mind. Because if one fail, another they will fail soon. I have another car with the same issue cylinder 4 misfire but that one was fuel injector dead. If u change all coil packs and sparks plugs and still misfire then is issue with fuel. Injector, or perhaps a wire issue on the loom. Hope this information helps.

      Does this problem, anti pollution system fault, cause to change timing chain. I have puegoet 207, petrol from 2007. Recently, have this issues, and the services centre said they changed all 4 spark plugs and poles. And again they said, camsaft position senser with the code error po368, now they are saying the timing chain should be changed.
      Will you advice me, is that the problem interrelated? He changed all those things, i tried to start it does but again its not starting and shows the engine sign.

    I had the similar issue Antipollution system faulty on my Citroen C4 By Loeb 1,6 turbo thp. And the fault was timing chain. It was streched only with 40 000 kilometres. You can find the video on my channel

    This engine was made by BMW for the PSA group. It is also found in BMW, Mini, Peugeot and Citroen

      Not excactly. Engine is a co-product of PSA and BMW. Many parts like the whole valve train comes from BMW(down sized BMW N20 valvetrain and camshafts). PSA designed the block and the crankcase. Most of these engines where build by PSA in France. The rest was build/assembled by BMW in UK.

    My 308 vibrates for 3 or 4 seconds after start the engine then it idles normal, fan is running permanently then for 5 minutes after the car is turned of, the car have antipollution error, oil leakage on head, it can not accellerate more that 140km/h . I need assistance

      Have a look on euro car parts with your reg on it. Could be lil bit pricy. But should solve your issue 😉 price for sparks and coil packs could be different between cars.

      @@axores20 Thanks. My biggest mistake was buying a used Peugeot with petrol engine: during 50,000 kms I have had to change the rocker head gasket seal, water pump, thermostat and oil pump. Absolute nightmare of a car - will be the last Peugeot I ever own or drive.

    Listen to each cylinder with an extension bar. Simply pop out plugs and check for spark against head. Can you not check the resistance across the windings in the coil packs? Would save money to confirm which is failing/ failed

      You can also check the resistance of spark plugs, plugs shouldn't be over tightened in, people seem to be terrified and golly alsorts. You can put a little smear of graphite grease on the threads to ease removal.

    İ repleaced all coils and sparks. İ changed cylinder injector 2 with 3. But error comes again with the cylnder 2.
    Can you give me an idea please. İ am desperate. Noone able to solve it.
    İts shaking on idle than give error.

    For diesel ovner change your fuel filter and clean your egr valve , ones you do this thing you will not have anti pollution fault anymore and you can thanks me from here

      @@urchill1 my car and friends car we both did change the fuel filter and egr cleaned all the problems are gone ! It was 1.6 hdi don’t know if you have same engine? Over fueling injector will do this problem which we don’t want to go this way could be expensive

      I have a pegout 308 1.6hdi fap sport 2009 and the sign comes up every time I start . I hope what you said fixes it . Also I think there’s a problem with the turbo cos it’s whistling

      Please guys see the description. Its a petrol not a diesel. Nothing to do with egr or filter on this one. Why some people mixing stuff and make people confused? Even on diesel the anti pollution thing is most likely dpf issues or the dpf additive run out.

      Sorry I don't have to thank you because you talking something nothing to do with this car. Pay attention to the title. Also check another video 1.6hdi video. Nothing to do with filter or egr but yes with dpf temperature sensor. U need to learn abit more about cars fella. 🙂

    Hello i have a similar issue with my 207 1.6vti, when i start the car when its cold it runns normal but when it gets warm at 90c in begins to shake and the coil at cly2 dosent work (i tried to unplug when shakenig) and the cooling fan starts to blow at high speed and dosent turn off even when i turn off the car. Could this be the same issue like on the video? Thank you for your help!

    Shouldn't be green color coolant in PSA not red? When you say you don't like petrol when taking out spark plugs then what you say when taking out burned injectors from diesels?

      The coolant in some cars are red. This one nobody change and the reg shows red on the system. Now spark plugs i dont like petrol cars not because of sparks plugs. Because glow plugs on diesel are worst to change sometimes they siezed and broke and u right injectors on diesel are pain to take off sometimes. I fancy more diesel cars than petrol cars, maybe because diesel are safe to work on them, petrol u need be careful, another big thing diesel have good mpg petrol is quite low. I drive every year in europe maybe thats why diesel is better option for me.

    I have this issue at the moment on a pug 207 1.4hdi anti pollution fault on dash and will not start just hear a click when try and turn over ??

      Hi. With the message anti- pollution it should crank the engine over with no issues. Have u check if u got voltage soon u crank the engine on the starter? Have u been able to connect a diagnostic tool?

      @@Vinnythesausage believe this engine starter is on the back. Maybe your starter is dead. The anti pollution thing is another issue, better connect a diagnostic tool to get straight to the problem. Any lack of power when this anti pollution message come on.? Smock from the exhaust?

      Hi. Some cars the cylinder one start the side of the cambelt, for example the audis vws and seats the cylinder one start from left to right, timing side to the flywheel. French engines are different. 1 st cylinder start from right to left. From the flywheel to the timing, backwards. If the first cylinder in french cars says misfire, u need to the the spark plug 1st cylinder starting from gearbox side. If will be vw audi seat skoda u need remove the spark plug from the timing side. Is this helps? Some manufacturing special french cars the use different order.

    I had same problem but I noticed that cylinder numper was numper 3 not 2 my scanner reads from inside the car. So opposite way. The man should change coils from other cylinder to another first before doing anything and before bying anything like he did.

      Hi, I don't recommended because if is a misfire like the one on the video long time running could damage the catalytic converter. I would seek for a mechanic to diagnose it or try few things i did on this video. If u need any help please contact me. 😉

      Hi. The only issue i can see with 1.4 is a oil leak on the side of the engine headgasket leaking oil from the oil seal. Under than that it should be fine. If the engine is dry then buy it. Full service history will be a bonus for piece of mind. Make sure cambelt and water pump is done too. 😉

    1.6 vti Peugeot 308. Missfires ,error code p00366. Was p0014 before. Camshaft sensors,solenoid valve sensors,spark plugs -changed

    It's a petrol car. So it's got spark plugs, not glow plugs.

      Of course its sparks plugs but if i did say glow plugs apologise for that, im use to work more in diesels. Thats why. 😉

    I have a P0016 error. peugeot 308. Going to change the cam and crank sensors. I can't seem to find the location of the crankshaft sensor. Can you help please.

      Are you sure the timing chain is not worn? Does it idle rough or sometimes feel like it's misfiring going up hill or accelerating? The engine in this video is the EP6 engine and is used in Minis, C3s, and a few Peugeots.

      @@paulc1197 Hi Paul. No it's fine and runs fine if I am being honest. Starts fine, no rough sounds, no knocking. Responsive too. Sometimes the fault light goes, but a day or so later it returns. I figured as the sensors are only £50 it might be worth chancing it rather then paying out £550 for the chain kit etc only to then find it's the sensors.

    VHello,have a Citroen C4 1.6,vehicle show antipollution fault and sometimes idle high,change upstream oxygen sensor as per diagnostic report,and now at cold start car vibrates,misfires,show antipollution fault and fan runs,switch off engine,fan still running,switch off engine,disconnect battery and car fault disappear and running fine,can someone help me?

      Anti pollution is down to a misfire. Have the spark plugs been changed? Did you check the scanner if it shows any cylinders misfires?

      ​@@axores20 Hello,thanks Nuno,I recently changed the spark plugs since 3 months,there was misfire on cylinder no2,injector no2 fault,replaced injector,still fault,technician did compression test on it and said was ok and they replaced the ECU in December and was ok and after 03 hours intermittent misfiring,asked me to replace upstream oxygen sensor,but now only at cold start the vehicle misfire,the antipollution fault appear,the fan run

    Hi. i have the same problem with my second hand peugeot bought 6 months ago. it gives that pollution system faulty error. while starting the car first time it misses and shakes and does not accelerate with fan switched on in full swing. have to switch off and switch on again to move the car and takes a while to run smooth. then happens on freeways as well while driving in good speed the fan starts in full speed with engine light blinking on an off. have changed power plugs all 4 but no difference. please help

      Could also be high pressure fuel pump in turbos. Unfortunately it's an expensive part

      Hi. Hope i can help u here. So first have u tried plug a diagnostic tool on the car? Have u plug the 02 sensors correct? Any engine light on? Is the car misfire?

    i have a 307cc 1.6 petrol anti-pollution fault, sometimes when i start the car it runs rough displaying anti-pollution fault but when i shut the car of and start it again it goes away and drives fine, sometimes i start the car and it cuts straight out a few times then its fine, now i have a bigger problem car wont start at all there is compression, spark on all four cylinders but no fuel at the rail when you push the test valve. with the ignition on got a really load buzzing is this normal?? ua-cam.com/video/URe2KY9sJII/v-deo.html

      Hi I also have same car with this message. only once I started it and it was shaking so I turned off and restarted and was OK. I never got the warning removed but it drives OK since. Just wondering did u get your cc sorted and what was problem.
