I have always loved the Vistabule. It was at the top of my list. The main reason I decided against it was that floor, which is actually a pretty great feature. It would have been perfect, if I were traveling alone. It would not have worked for the blind pup, though. She needed a flat floor that was not the bed and soft surroundings.
Yes, Vistabules are nice. I particularly like the fact that the bed becomes a couch, so in inclement weather you have an upright sitting position to enjoy, as well as a great view! But I have one nagging question. People constantly say that they buy teardrops because they get tired of sleeping on the ground. Has no one heard of cots? A tent with good headroom and a cot is the equivalent of a teardrop. You don't have to sleep on the ground in a tent if you do it right. You got options, people.
Haha- I’ve said this before, but I always enjoy your comments. First, I actually do like sleeping on the ground 😆 As for “off the ground,” I think it’s a funny thing that tiny camper people say, almost more as an expression than a literal phrase. Maybe I’m wrong, but I say it in an idiomatic way of expressing how much I love camping in small trailers. I think the actual change we appreciate the most is hard shells, bed with sheets and comforter, and powered ventilation. When you couple that with no set up or break down, especially in the rain and snow, that’s a lot more on the point than, “getting off the ground.” With that being said, when I’m at a stoplight and someone pulls up next to me and shouts, “how do you like that thing.“. I typically shout back, “I like sleeping off the ground.” … lol
I think the Bushwhacker is a great entry model. After three years, we gave that to our daughter and bought this unit. At this level buying used is the way to go.
Rip cosmo, you were one of a kind
He was the best 🙏
Miss Cosmo. He was Vistabules major ambassador
Very much so 🙏
Vestibule teardrops are very unique. John did an awesome interview.
What a beautiful little camper!
Did you guys decide to come to the Northeast gathering yet? lol
I wish we could but will be in Texas for the rest of the year. That 4 letter word (work)

The things we do for our beloved pups ❤️
@@DIYOutdoorLife I do very much like Vistabule's new Daytripper that is a little more simple.
Man, what a beautifully crafted teardrop. Like a piece of art!
Throwing in the Ripple emoji!
Awesome teardrop! Wish I woukd have had time to check it out at the Boil!
It’s a work of art, too nice for me… lol

My man!! 1st comment. Cool little teardrop. Oh.. working on the B'roll stuff today. Will have that to you in a bit.
I’ve been super super busy, I’ll catch up on my email inbox one day… lol
@@DIYOutdoorLife I hear ya.. I sent you the B-Roll stuff.. Can't wait to get started!!
Almost thought it was a Brandon Tenold video with that intro music. You better be watching some cheesy old sci fi movies in that camper!
Haha- no indie films allowed in the camper
Nice trailer A bit pricey. Pathway trailer might be a cheaper entrance into camping
