What a great transparent honest video. Not sure if you've done this before but it would be great if you could do a vid on all the gadgets and software that make your print on demand business a success i.e. laptops, monitors in fact anything that helps productivity. Thanks again and have an awesome Friday. 👍🏻
I love how genuine and down to earth you are. Your videos are always entertaining as well as informative and full of little nuggets. I can’t wait to get stuck into the Hub!! 🎉
Great vid. Not sure about the 99 a month hub bro. That’s crazy. Been doing this for over 30yrs. I take some courses on advertising sometimes but not a monthly. Congrats on the 100k subs. That’s a huge deal man.
Just found your content and am intrigued how you seem so honest compared to other gurus. You say you reply to your comments so let's see if you answer this: every guru says there's POD Is a good business to start as there's little cost beyond commissioning a designer off Fiverr and building a cheap website HOWEVER international selling means lots of different sales taxes - particularly in the USA - so you need an ecommerce site that automatically adjusts the tax (and shipping) to the location of each buyer. Such sites aren't cheap - Shopify charges £250pm - so what do you think is the REAL cost of starting up a POD site?
I am just commenting to check if you will reply or miss it 😁😂 Anyways, great video once again, keeping it real. Will be joining the hub soon. To your continued success Abbas
it can be passive tho coz u dont get scolded by ur boss, u can take breaks whenever u want, u can stop whenever u want. If you dont feel like doing anything u can take a break and take your time. If you have family or kids, the even better. That to me is passive. Working your ass off is OKAY because at the end of the day there is no CAP to your earnings. Every effort you put in goes straight to you bank account. If you are working for a company/job, you can work your ass off and not leave the office, still you will be getting same salary. You always need to be your best self so you can get promoted. Always trying to please others. I also use pod and i dont mind working long hours creating designs and researching trends. Coz I know if one of those things I do become successful, it will be mine.
I totally agree however that’s not the definition of passive… that is just having your own business and reaping the rewards from the effort you’re putting in.
Hi Jimmy. I recently came across your channel, I like that you talk about this business without embellishment. Tell me, what makes your course better than Heckman's courses? I saw that you spoke highly of Chris's work.
Nothing. Heckman’s course is honestly amazing. They’re both good. 2 different teaching styles. Laid out in 2 ways. Both will help you. If you could I’d say do both. 😀
My wife and I are in our 70's and some supplemental income would be so helpful. We would appreciate your advice on how to get started in POD. We believe we have the skillsets, both digital and creative to have some succuss. Many thanks.
I want to start a print on demand business for the first time. I have watched alot of different POD you tubers and they all say something different. Which POD site do you recommend for a new beginner like me? I have heard Etsy is best or Amazon?
Etsy and Amazon are both good. If you can get accepted to sell on amazons merch on demand then it’s much easier than Etsy. Shopify is great for building this into a proper business
awesome! Yes it is self paced with the added benefit of 1:1 support when you need it. In terms of savings, last I worked it out it was around $650, but I'm reaching out to new tools every week so that number is going up.
Any tips on managing cash flow? I see that you have to pay to fulfill any order so that's a cash/profit outlay of 2/1. What if one is lucky enough to get a popular design? Good news or.... Nobody talks about that.
@@shimmymorris1 Yes but do you charge a large amount and place in the wallet? I doubt you want to keep charging per order. I'm not clear if the wallet holds money in it for large periods or not to use for future fulfillments.
@@shimmymorris1 I appreciate your replies. So you have no issue with the credit card company accepting charges throughout the day or week? It would seem that they might flag an account with that kind of activity or even freeze it altogether. Especially if one isn't typically much of a credit user.
He is not moving that i know off Skool is the free edition essentially i believe the one he is speaking up is simply the "upgraded" paid version personally i won't be using it but i am personally in a good place but if your new may be of help to those still growing.
The free Skool is still there. That’s for general print on demand stuff and to be part of a community. The paid one is very different. It’s a lot more focused. Tonnnnns in there too like monthly competitions, courses, live calls, etc. that’s where I’ll be spending most my time, however, the free one will still stay active and I’ll still be in there too
well that's not really his main income if you noticed he has youtube, selling memberships "print on demand hub" those are main things for him if you only sell on etsy for exaplme lower your expectations
Put shoes on and run, that is really so easy. Thank you dear. It was funny and inspiring to see your average days. But you sure clones yourself to get the stuff done or? 😅
Great video mate and good to see honesty about the work that goes into everything. October I signed up to Etsy done a lot of research SẸO and completed my designs but then got permanently banned for no reason but I followed all the rules etc…so 2months on after being down about it I had a word with myself and got back to designing and now about to launch my store on shopify so fingers crossed 🤞 i can build something to be proud of!
Thank you Morris for showing the real deal on PoD not like the huuge gurru we have on YT. Please continue to be yourself. The Truth wins and is worth much more. One more question do you AI in your designs on PoD lots of YT videos show now selling digital stuff made via AI and gaining lots of revenue. with you a great day, Daniel from Romania.
I'm very interested in the POD business and I often watch related videos, especially Shoppify. I'm currently living in South Korea and I'm Korean. I saw that the main model you teach in your Print on Demand hub is Shoppify Print on Demand. Do you think it's possible to start and succeed in Korea?
I don't see why not. Also, just because you're in Korea, it doesn't mean you can't sell items in the US. I'm in the UK and our biggest market is the US
8 months in the making and it's now finally ready!

This was very helpful, as time management is by far my greatest challenge. I never seem to get on top of it 🙄
ye it can be super tough
Love the honesty. Also want to see if you’ll respond 😂. I like the structure, even though you’re your own boss!
Course I’ll respond ☺️☺️ thank you for the comment
Thank God that I imagined a regular day would be like this, and I like it.
good to know!
Very nice. Sounds like a wonderful lifestyle to me!
Thanks! Need less work and more fun though. This leads to burn out quickly!

Hey, quick question is the hub just for Shopify or do you cover Etsy as well?

Among Shopify, Etsy, and Amazon, which one would u recommend most for beginners to start with?
Just those in my opinion
My new favorite to follow ❤
aw thank you so much!

Those cars made me chuckle 😂
haha me too
I checked out your POD hub offer; my question is this: is it self paced?
Do you have a idea of what the savings are from the POD software programs we will need to use?
awesome! Yes it is self paced with the added benefit of 1:1 support when you need it. In terms of savings, last I worked it out it was around $650, but I'm reaching out to new tools every week so that number is going up.
Is the hub membership suitable to complete newbies to POD?
yes, it's actually ideal for complete newbies :D
I see that you’re from the UK! Is it possible to sell POD to the US on Etsy from the UK?
Yes!! You can change your shipping profiles and make sure you have a US based printer
@@shimmymorris1 would you say printful is ideal for this? Or should I switch to printify?
Any tips on managing cash flow? I see that you have to pay to fulfill any order so that's a cash/profit outlay of 2/1. What if one is lucky enough to get a popular design? Good news or.... Nobody talks about that.
i use a credit card and then pay it off when the money comes through, never had an issue so far
@@shimmymorris1 Yes but do you charge a large amount and place in the wallet? I doubt you want to keep charging per order. I'm not clear if the wallet holds money in it for large periods or not to use for future fulfillments.
@@EspanJoy I don't add money to the Printify wallet, i just have a credit card connected to the account

@@EspanJoy i have never had an issue at all doing this.
Hi, can you please advise how many attempts you made before getting accepted to Amazon Merch? So far I have tried twice unsuccessfully.
personally i got mine years ago i just not touch mine so based on current issues i couldn't be of much help for those who did it prior to covid.
I got accepted first time. Everyone is different
@@shimmymorris1 OK, thank you.
What are his Shopify and Etsy stores?
I won’t be sharing them as they’ll just get copied and stolen immediately. Happened last time so I won’t be making that mistake again
Wait. what? I just signed up for skool one (literally 5 minutes ago). Are you moving to hub?
He is not moving that i know off Skool is the free edition essentially i believe the one he is speaking up is simply the "upgraded" paid version personally i won't be using it but i am personally in a good place but if your new may be of help to those still growing.

well that's not really his main income if you noticed he has youtube, selling memberships "print on demand hub" those are main things for him if you only sell on etsy for exaplme lower your expectations
