I love the idea of an underwater drone (submarine)! I wonder if you could fix the problem with weeds in the propeller by somehow sticking a circle of fiberglass window screen over the hole? Whatever, that was an awesome video!

Well they could build mini jet motors with guards like a weedless jig has that would help so that the prop would be internal

You CAN use radio underwater , however , this means using ULF ( ultra low frequencies ) as used for naval submarine communications , for mining communications , etc .. OR , you can use transmit and receive frequencies between 1420 and 1662 Megahertz . SETI scans this region because it is the least susceptible to scatter by hydrogen and oxygen atoms so anything transmitted in that frequency range would travel a lot farther distances without being scattered or attenuated .

I’ll tell ya something that would love that under water drone, and that’s the sharks in northern Australia! And the crocodile’s for that matter 😂. But yes they seem very cool and would be awesome to get some action footage of casting lures at schools of fish, and live recording the hookup / strikes from the fish.

What I like about it, if you got bored because fish wasn't hungry you could troll around and look for stuff under water like fishing poles and guns or whatever else you could see. How much was it anyway, I don't remember him saying that part.
The one I was using is around 900 , it might be cheaper now . But I wanted a 4k camera . I saw some under 500 though that looked like nice drones . They are about the same price ranges as the air drones

Lol . Some people never learn lol . Honestly they are high . And truthfully I went with the Garmin because if you get live scope you have to have a Lowrance Live or Carbon deapth finder . With Garmin you have more choices to pick from

This thing be awesome for under water video once a vehicle was found by live- scope. Could really help the families that never knew what happened to their loved ones. I have saw few videos of that happening, but without this type of a video device.

@@FishinNStuff I had to buy it in two separate purchases,but I got the Garmin 9 Side Scan,,now I just got to work on the Black box and transducer part, I don't want it for a video Fishin game, I want it for a general locator, Now I'll say this ,One of the biggest keys to finding crappie is finding Cover , Hopefully before I get hung up and scare everything off it lol,, The Garmin 9 I would suggest for anyone, Alot depends on what transducer you have , the 56 ,,Or any of the high definition ones are clear as a bell ,, I have the 52 transducer, But I had every intention of getting the rest to complete the panopix package, but it finds structure and indeed Will find ya some Crappie, it's just not like the livescope,
AND I finally got All my green LED lights and two floating white lights put together, so that Adventure Is fixing to take place as well, that drone would be fun in a deep hole in the River looking for Big catfish lol,, if it just had torpedo tubes on it lol 🤣🤣🤣🤷🏻♂️,, Now there's a purty Dang awesome diy project for ya lol,, keep it Reelin Keith 💦🐟🎣🤠
Any way to mount a speer gun or a stick with a hook on to it? Will it drag a fish net? Howabout taking yur bait out n dropping it where the big ones are? Guess I'll just have to see what attachments come with it.
It will drop bait , it has a built in magnet that you can switch on and off .
Sounds nice, but where I fish, the water clarity is only around a foot or two.
Hey that's the way it is at most of our lakes too . There is one lake that's clear . It's a mountain lake . That's where I was thinking about try to use it but it's a couple hours away

A dolly similar to what kayakers use. I hand launch my Sundolphin American12 in places that dont have a ramp. Boat is approx 4 ft wide and 175 pound ( boat n gear).

That one was a little high . But it has accessories you really could line without .I think it was about 900 . Cheaper than my air drones I don't use but they do make some cheaper ones
Finally, I got to see price tag of 900 on one you showed us on here., I'm a tech guy and yeah I would be one inline to buy them if I still had my boat. I lost ability to go fishing and it's killing me. I was a great fisherman. If I told people how big it was then you bet I would have a few pictures as proof. I got a cheap solution for you Keith me personally I would try silicone seal on stainless steel mesh sink drain strainers they come in different sizes too to test that out all just to keep that crap out of its propellers

In Texas it is illegal to use a drone to locate fish then catch those located fish.
It is in NC too . But I wasn't fishing . I made it a point to NOT take a fishing with me lol . And right after I got there a game warden drove by lol .

That drone would not work here where I live at. lake tawakoni in Texas. That's why we have rescue divers from Dallas Texas and All over Texas come here to train because even their high-tech cameras does not work in this lake cuz you can't see your hand in front of your face. But that drone is that really cool gadget if you have a good lake to use it in. You and some of your buddies needs to come down here fishing this lake is known for the catfish and I have a lot of bass tournaments here but it's also known for the crappie
