Chicken Liver Vs. Jell-O Chicken for Channel Catfish! (Underwater Footage)

- We are back with some more underwater footage! Today we tested the tried and true Jell-o chicken against my personal favorite, garlic chicken liver. The results were amazing! And the water clarity was pristine!
Arizona catfish to my knowledge have not seen much of jello chicken catfish bait. I know it is very popular on the east coast, but other than that it really is not a thing here. Blue catfish love Jello chicken, so I decided to test it on some pond channel catfish.
I am glad the underwater catfish footage turned out so well! That is always a big battle getting it to look good. Along with the channel catfish we also saw some grass carp, goldfish and also a few bass!
You never know what the prime species is going to be in these Arizona ponds. We caught catfish on both the jello chicken and the chicken liver, but the liver ended up catching the most! It was a favorite amongst the carp and goldfish as well!
I hope you all enjoyed this underwater catfish footage featuring jello chicken and chicken liver. I still think chicken liver is the best for the urban catfish here in Arizona.

Strawberry jello chicken is on of the best catfish baits. You see it used mostly in paylakes. Catfish pretty mich will choose certain baits at different times of the year. It all depends on the weather. Chicken liver for example works best when it is cold outside and in the early part of the year. Strawberry Jello works best when it is in the summer in hotter weather. Also, just my opinion, you would catch more catfish if you used a bobber set up for catfish instead of the bottom

Yo that’s sweet! Supercharged cats are awesome. The hellcat is a great rod. I haven’t really put it to the ultimate test yet but the action and comfortability of it is great. Easy to cast as well 👍🏼
