I was lucky enough to speak in length with Winston the night before about both bikes, Thanks in part to being a bike shed member. I was impressed with his passion for designing. I asked him how he did the seats and head bends and found out he specifically has people in Taiwan do the work which was interesting to know, he's about design and sourcing.
@kristchen5829 it's fantastic. I had a whole long detailed response written to you however it either got flagged or held for review. To sum it up go get a tour and tell I sent you. They'll treat you right.
@@kristchen5829here's my full response re-written. Hoping it doesn't disappear again. Shed membership is genuinely great and has something for everyone. As long as you enjoy motorcycles and community you'll enjoy it. They do meet ups and rides weekly and they get us into special moto events hosted at the Shed multiple times a year and there's discounts on food and Shed items for being a member. That said I never go on group rides as I generally don't trust riding with people I haven't know personally for a while (my own ptsd from the past). What I do take advantage of is the private member speakeasy type areas for working remote a couple times a week (member perk) as well as member outings and events at the Shed. There is something for everyone in my opinion. If you want to stop by the Shed I'd be happy to buy you a drink and introduce you to the membership team. In addition I believe I can get you a referral discount of some sort if you decide to join.
Love these in depth discussions of custom yet rideable bikes. Coming from Canada I will be visiting London in May for the show and hope to also check out The Bike Shed.
Loved the panning shots of the bike while thier talking. That’s how we normally look at bikes when we are talking to the owner in a parking lot. Most videos don’t show enough of the bike. 😊
@@alexmoja3042 ya. He could have got an Interceptor 650 and put the GT 650 tank and handle bars on it. Though that would be an incredibly moronic thing to do VS starting with a GT 650 to begin with. But if that's what you think is most likely, I won't argue with you.
@@DD-co1zn The only component that identifies this specific bike as a Continental GT 650 over the Interceptor 650 is the fuel tank. The handlebar and footpeg assemblies of the GT 650 have clearly not been used here and those are the only other differences. One can actually buy a brand new Interceptor plus the fuel tank of a GT 650 and it would be slightly cheaper than buying a new GT 650.
@@twowheeledparadox it could be this, it could be that. Why people are so desperate to reach for it being an Interceptor 650 despite it being a cafe racer with the same tank, same style handlebars, and the fact the guy said himself it was the GT 650 (before becoming uncertain of the naming for each style iteration) ... Is beyond me. But yes, let's just go against the odds and pretend like he this guy started with an Interceptor 650 to make a cafe racer, rather than ... You know ... Starting with the cafe racer. 🤡
@@DD-co1zn Alright, calm down. First, "It's a GT 650 ffs" and then each of your replies... I don't know why you're so worked up about this and taking this so personally. Not to mention you're also wrong about the handlebars. But you do you. I will leave you be and won't engage you further.
Your version of the Shotgun is beautifull. I can't wait to see you next work

It's definitley the Shotgun. We hosted the US Launch.
Ur shotgun is AWESOME
The bikes are awsome but i want to see them running
Is it really "custom" if it still has those horrendous stock pipes?
Can you feature a collab video with Rajputana custom, royal Enfield designers.. Like popular design on UA-cam with theme like - - -, Warrior(rajput)
almost thought the emblem said Hogwarts at first
It's a GT650 ffs.
It's a very pretty GT 650 with some stunning custom work. Winston also customises other models. Check out his work.

Las dos motos son una obra de arte pero la interceptor quedó increíble
it is continental not interceptor
@@alexmoja3042 na look at the tank its not changed just repainted.

Sorry, but the continental looks bad. Great job with the shotgun though.
