you can fix stick drift super easy. Just grab some WD40 contact cleaner quick drying, and spray some in your joystick then move the joystick around and let it dry, rinse and repeat intill there's no more stick drift. Hope this helps :)

I don't even know what that is, but the blue switch controller joystick we have here, we can't press down, and it always drifts to the right, up or down
@@KBYTO WD40 is a type of penetrating oil spray. Not only will it help with stick drift, but it'll also help with squeaky hinges on doors.

How to fix stick drift:
Step 1: Go to the store
Step 2: Buy WD-40 Multi-Use Product
Step 3: Go back home
Step 4: Remove the lid on your oculus touch controller (the black lid)
Step 5: Apply some WD-40 on the joystick
Step 6: Move it around so it can get everywhere
Step 7: Wait until it dries
Step 8: Put the lid back on (be careful not to break it)
Step 9: Have fun playing

RIP Echo VR... Echo VR lived to be one of the best quest 2 games and was later taken down. Some might say, it was one of the most inspiring games out there... Rest In Peace Echo VR.

I sucked at it
I got a bobo vr head strap with the hot swappable battery packs and it’s so nice! Highly recommend and also recommend getting the version that comes with 2 batteries and the charging dock for the batteries. Like you can literally play forever cause you can just swap out the batteries when it gets low and it can change while your still playing! Don’t even have to quit the game or anything it’s all like magnetic and you is reach behind your head and grab the battery and then grab another an slap it on. Totally recommend it’s the best head strap you can get 100%

I bought the ver. with one battery and no dock tho so I have to tether myself to a charger while the battery charges 😭
theres also a company called Binbok that sells a headstrap that does the same thing and also (in my opinion) works as a counter weight with how the battery is shaped
i bought a bobo vr head strap with the battery pack (but i dont have a second one to swap) and it literally doesnt work after like a few months

4:47 Finally, someone talks about this. For me, the guatdian just disappears on random even during gameplay, and it's so annoying
1:55 there is a type of joystick that doesn’t cause stick drift but it’s so uncommon that the company’s that do know about it still don’t use them because they’re a little more expensive

@@Carl_L they might. I haven’t done the most reasearch on it recently but i know there is a type of joystick without stick drift and so that’s what what I said.

they’re called Hall Effect joysticks and they don’t really have downsides (nor are they much more expensive) companies simply use the other ones so people’s controllers can break and they can buy another one
To fix the disappearing guardian you needa go into your guardian settings and clear all of the previous guardians.
Now I can’t play in the 4 guardians I play in 😂
To fix the problems with the trackong making you're guardian disapear its because you need to clear the history, and for the friends issue, it wouldnt be such a bad thing if it wasnt for pavlov shack not havibg their friends list ready even tho there is a tab for it. Pavlov shack is at fault for that part
as a gorilla tag player, i can confirm that stick drift is fine since i dont use it anyway

I prefer the manual update because I have limited data and I don't like it when 100 gb randomly disappear to a funny lookin white block I strap to my head.
I have a battery pack and it gives me 8 hours of playtime and the strap is just a support for your head, it's really good

Gorilla Tag is a good game, but some of the shi that happens among the community is ridiculous 😭 People hated on Lemming for the first summer update for not updating the game early cus his dad was in the HOSPITAL, there's also the PursuitVR incident 💀

Omg Bro fr I hate stick drift so much on my Xbox, my right joystick would always move up without me even touching it, which just absolutely ruins my Subnautica gameplay. I usually play on my other crappy Xbox instead.

I agree with number 1, like I can’t find a SINGLE server on vrchat that doesn’t have someone repeating the N-word, but I don’t run into them in gtag

The thing about rasict people is yes they are gonna annoy you and theres nothing you can do about it, but games like gorrila tag have a report button so they can be as annoying and rasict as they want, but you can just report them and they will be banned permanently.
I usually NEVER have batteries that are full I swear I have a basement with around 20 batteries scattered everywhere at 0% or 10%

Especially when your headset is full charged it’s full charged along time of charging then your controller battery’s are dead 💀

I already have a battery pack and it works for about 6-8 hours
almost everytime when i boot up my headset it shows me the guardian then without asking me if its good it goes to my home a few secs laer it goes in the thing to make your guardian and even tough it showed me the guardian before its gone

Do not buy the neck battery showed in the video. Buy the Bobovr M3(M2 for quest 2), it is a head strap with a swappable battery on it, it comes with 1 battery that last about 2 hour, they hold onto the back of the head strap with magnets, you can buy a second battery then when one dies you can swap it with the other one, letting you play as long as you want. They also make the headset feel lighter due to the battery being on the back of the head working as a counter weight. The M3 is 50$ and M2 is 60$. If you have the quest 2 and get the M2, then later on upgrade to the quest 3 there is a converter that lets the M2 work on the quest 3 but I do not know how well it works. The converter and spare battery I do not know the price of due to amazon being out of stock when I made the comment.
the guardian thing is sooooo true!
I mean we can blame stick drift on them, there are things called hall effect sensors which eliminate stick drift. They use magnets instead of potentiometers. But as with every console/controller they want to sell more thus they dont use them to increase profits on peoples devices they already paid for.

There is multiple reasons why this video is just wrong. For the not updating automatically issue, they just fixed that and if that's not working update your headset. 1:52 "And there is nothing you can do about it" You can literally just search up "controller drift spray" and multiple options come up to fix your controller, YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. 2:20 I can understand this, but what I do is wait until one of them gets to about 20% and I put new controllers in both of the controllers so I don't need to go back and forth realizing the other one was dead. I can understand the headset battery too, it's annoying so I don't have anything to say. The app view make me mad sometimes but MY GUY, it shows you uninstalled apps so you can install them! And you can still filter them so why bother, I get the anger about explorer and store app, also why do you care about how much space it takes? Are you really gonna be looking at something else other than your library? Moving on, about the guardian issue, you can clear your boundary memory, and if that doesn't work than CLEAN YOUR CAMERAS! Oh my lord every person that doesn't clean their cameras just don't want tracking nor safety for themselves. The Pavlov friend invite issue is not even the quest 2, its just the devs not knowing how a quest 2 works with friends lists, if you wanna play with your friend, just try to join the same server together. The head strap I can definitely relate to, It was so bad I just ended up getting the elite strap, don't be scared if it breaks or anything just don't yank on it like an idiot. The racist players is just games in general, it's not specific to the quest why are you putting this in? Now I know it said "Quest 2 users" but you're saying it like quest 2 players only don't like racism. This has been my debate now feel free to argue with me in the replies :)
i hate the short battery life too cuz the ONLY games i play frequently are gtag games and they drain th battery SO MUCH like in 10 minuites it dies then i gotta wait 2 WHOLE HOURS for it to charge so basically 4 hrs and 20 minutes

as a person who has played vr for a year and a half, (mostly gorilla tag) i absolutely HATE racists, toxicity, slurs, more. it so annoying that little timmy sits in the corner of vr screaming racial slurs.
8:33 love how when he's talking about this subject and the background is gorilla tag. I wouldn't blame him since there's a lot of kids swearing and being racist. All games do have some racist kids in them but in my opinion, I just feel like is always gorilla tag because every time I go public and just hang out, they just have at least 1 toxic player or a racist. Either way muting them is a good way to avoid them, but it is still annoying just to mute people every time I get on.

"there is no fix to stick drift." I beg to differ. I have fixed and repaired multiple controllers with stick drift. And yes, to be fair, if you don't have the knowledge to repair it then there is nothing you can do. but saying that there is no fix to stick drift is not really true.
For the battery problem, I have rechargeable batteries and the battery cover comes off and a cover that replaces it.
It has copper that transfers whatever charges it from a charging port,
so you don’t have to take the batteries out to charge
For the headset There is a piece that you can keep in the charging port and when you want to charge it,
You put it on the charger and it charges it without unplugging anything
I hate the lack of an option to delete an app instead of just uninstalling it
I get ur sponsored for the battery pack but I’ve had my oculus since lunch and when it’s dead I realise that I’ve been playing for too long and have a break if my battery was better then I would be on all day
You don't need to put batteries on the controllers cuz there's a quest 2 charging station and it charges up your controllers

Lol for the headstrap I just put a this rectangle cardboard (like the kool-aid boxes) half an inch foam and a peice of fabric glued together and I just put that behind my head where the little plastic pieces are and that works Great. If you have the default headstrap. PLEASE TRY THIS

7:07 I can confirm since I do play VR, but I don’t have a more high-tech head strap because I’m still going to the default one. It is very flimsy gets dirty after like two months of having it, especially if you have pets and mine actually broke after it actually flung off my head while playing a VR game.
2:10 he says you can not fix your joystick but I know how
1. Get some wd40
2. Take out the battery
3. Spray the wd40 under the joystick
4. Move the joystick around freely
5. Repeat if necessary
Then boom it should work trust me I’ve tried this myself works perfectly

I got rechargable batteries what are 3590mAh and they last atleast 2 weeks i got them for like 7.99USD so if u have the battery for controller problem instead of spending money every two days just buy rechargable batteries

Idk why the hate for gorilla tag is so huge and widespread. I’ve played in non stop with a couple month breaks for two straight years. I literally never run into toxic/racist dudes. And if the extremely rare event happens where one joins the lobby he gets mass reported and he leaves instantly.

Well my sister has a quest 2 and she had a problem where she couldn't even set a boundary, I don't know why.

There is effects for stick drift though. Hall effect switches don't have the problem. Though that is heavily dependent on being able to source appropriate hall effect switches for as replacement. And manufacturers won't do it because they're more expensive.

My guardian disappears every time, I thought it was normal. And my left stick drifts so I hope I can get a new left controller for Christmas or my birthday. And I think the default head strap is fine
To get a friend online on Pavlov I found it out that if you go on a game on the game, I mean and you make a server private server on a game mode that nobody plays I mean, no one then make a code and blah blah blah and then you'll be able to find your guy if that doesn't work then I don't know man use the new freaking player friend player thingy.

Rip echo VR but also I have a worst head trap literally snapped and I had to put some tape on it so every time I get off, it gets ripped some hair off of me. It’s like plastic metal so it’s so uncomfortable.
"low batery span" me having a battery pack that adds 4 hours to my game play, (i only play for like 1-2 hours at a time) and i charge the battery pack every night
i wish that you could just charge the controllers with a cord so you don’t have to use batteries

Anyone under 12. They're just not mentally competent enough to handle VR and they're going to grow up to have coordination issues because they're so young and... ughhh it's so annoying.

One lobby I was in in gorilla tag, a darker person was in a lobby, allowed to say *the word* was saying *the word* Then I hear a (idk what race but not darker person) scream *the word* and we run towards the board but the person who said *the word* left before we could do so.
Turn joystick around while pressing on it, blowing on it from all angles. Thought it would never work and boom. Now I can play recroom again.

Gorilla tag was such a competitiv fun game for me but nowdays i just log on play 1 round of tag tag somebody then timmy screaming all bad words possible and i instant log off they ruined the game
You got problems with your headset if you can't fix stick drift or your guardians disappearing
Well, I can solve your problem first you wanna do is make sure they are online call them tell them the code of the lobby or whatever you’re playing if it’s not gtag all you have to do is simply tell them the name of the lobby
sometimes I forget I bought a new strap lol, but yeah, I'd say that was absolute worst, also les go kiwi for making this alternate strap, this thing is so comfortable
I recently got stuck drift and was able to replace it but then I had a problem with the same controller when I move the controller it disconnects so I went to fix it and I wasn’t careful and just ripped the socket which connects to the battery and motherboard and now I took out the replaced joystick and ordered a new one 😢
I hate in gorilla tag there is always a little timmy screaming "Wanna play minigames!!!!!"

Hey for people with stickdrift don't buy a new controller. Buy WD-40 Specialist contact cleaner it works trust me
