Do you have a video on how you got started?
thank you so much man people like u deserve great things in life.
and next time blur your lips when saying anything confidential
How do u get paid?
Please help me! I’m the guy that has all the equipment but. I’m still at a. Roadblock getting my plates and. I’m going. To have. To sell everything
Tip to help you out…
1. Don’t tell them this is your second company. That’s a bad thing, not a good thing. What it says to them is “I had a previous company that failed for some reason” - they’ll assume the worst, not the best… Like you selling the company etc.
2. As fast as you can, accumulate enough cash reserves to NOT need to use a factoring co.
Freight brokers that post to load boards are bonded. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not that common to get stiffed, and if you do, there’s a good chance you’re still gonna get paid from the bond either way.
Factoring companies gouge far more than the actuarial “pay risk” of any one load. Ironically, factoring companies fail to pay and outright fail as a company, at a higher rate than brokerages, and factoring companies aren’t even bonded.
3. When talking to brokers, especially trying to sell your new carrier co as “experienced”… It’s vital to have the lingo right. Driving empty to a shipper is “Dead HEAD” not “dead hand”.
3.
Other corrupt and incompetent box truck drivers charge between $ 60 to $ 450 for this, and, on behalf of myself and other viewers, thank you for sharing this information for free.
@Thomas B well this info was free. But in all honesty my course goes into so much more detail. But a lot of people think this would be good enough to sell for a course. I personally would never sell something this generalized to people
You can’t put a price on the info someone else is willing to share with you it takes money to make money
Bro…, it’s business come on now. If you cant pay $60 then you won’t make money. I bet you gone waste $60 on some other stupid shit but not education lol
Props to you for being honest and up front. I happen to be one of the people you called and it made my day to hear you say what you did about the other load and not wanting to put him in a bad position having a deadline. Well done. Much respect to you, and thank you for being out here showing them how it should be done. We need more drivers like you. You need a load, you can call us anytime. We will get you rolling.
Thank you so much! That is amazing you were able to see that. Apologies for the late response youtube never notified me. The cat and mouse between Brokers and Truckers needs to be fixed so that we can all work together and everyone can be happy! I hope you all are doing well since the last few quarters have been rough for everyone!
@@truckingempire563 nice work I’m definitely looking to start dispatching just learning how to first before I get everything start I want to learn so bad so keep posting my guy

Hey Ryan! Hope you're still doing your thing. I came across your video while researching a dispatch videos cause I just finished a course and have no knowledge of this industry and I enjoyed everything you just shared and felt comfortable watching you and listening to you handle those calls. Really made me feel like I can do this. Thank you so much, blessings to you and your business and KEEP ON TRUCKING!!

@@heardcollects3754 I own my truck and reefer but I’m at a roadblock acquiring my irp apportioned plates because of an insurance issue. With insurance being $2500 a month Al while just starting the business it really sets you back

You just earned a new subscriber. Amazing content boss. Keep inspiring us to move on. The industry is pretty bad, but I don't see most truck owners quitting. You just got to keep pushing. We can all make it.
I've been looking for a new career to learn about considering my disabilities allows me to do very limited physical work. This seems like a great choice. I like the demonstration of how it works. Yes i would like to see this in a series.

Literally I'm like brand new to all this. But thank you for offering all this info for free. You don't know the blessings upon u. Congratulations on everything!! Looking forward to seeing much more greatness from you.
Please get some transportation experience before just jumping into this industry. New Dispatchers/Drivers are part of a reason rates are so low because people have little to no clue how this industry works.
I’m only interested in dispatching but this was definitely worth the watch. Watched the whole thing, thnx ☺️

Thank you so much for letting us understanding how things are going with these types of brokers

I’ve see these types of videos before. Every owner operator thinks they figured it out until they find out that they are not really in control of anything in the trucking industry. I’m happy for you, young man. Just stack up and make sure you have an exit strategy at all times.

Being a "new kid on the block" I greatly appreciate the tips in this video
Yo. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing your journey. Peace man
Thank you for the content about the load board and checking on their ratings very informative!
Of course!
Great Video, but here are a few important facts about the industry.
OTR can be tricky, if a load is going to a city were is hard to back haul, don't take it
Keep in mind the fuel costs
Lodging accommodation costs
But mainly be mindful where will you be delivering, don't get stuck without a back haul , expenses can rise quickly
Self dispatching is a great series. Maybe vehicle inspection, loading and offloading freight, howbto calculate mileage with deadhead. Loads you wouldn't take and why. Love what you're doing for the box truck community Ryan. 👍🏿👍🏿
Ill go ahead and give you an answer ti one of your questions. So the truck unloaded costs me about .48 cents to operate thats fuel and budget mileage fee. Loaded around .53 cpm. But i also am not including my rent and insurance in that number. I usually just factor my deadhead into my total miles loaded and try to get my dollars per mile as high as possible including deadhead that way its covered regardless! Hope that helps and thank you for the suggestions
I’m cool and I’m excited about that you
Great info and thanks for the content. Stay safe out there.
Great video! Thank you for taking us on the full day of how this works… we just got a new authority … very excited to see how things work out for us !

Nice one Donald.Any investment tip?. I would love to know how you made it this far
@@Alexedmartin. There are many lucrative investments out there. I always tell people that saving is good, but investing is best. If you keep your money in the bank, you cannot make profits. You also have to give up a lot when it comes to saving. My advice is that before considering investing, you should consult an investment advisor first so you don't make a mistake or regret it later. I started Investment with the help of a financial expert Regina Louise Collaro , she is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her. I earn on a monthly basis through passive income with her Financial aid
@@donaldgaff2271 I value your recommendations. It's challenging to locate a trustworthy person. I could really use your investment advisor after seeing how much money you've made through investing. If you don't mind revealing her information, that is.
@@Alexedmartin. By looking for her name online, you can quickly uncover her information. She recently appeared on CNN and she is really simple to deal with no matter where your location

Be careful with One party Consent laws in the state's where you call and receive calls. Some states prohibit recording phone calls. Check the laws prior to recording. Safe travels.

great video. Thank you so much!
Thanks for being so transparent, I had no idea you have make sure they factor with your company.
Of course thats what i do it for! Glad the video helped.
We don’t have factoring, be direct, they pay us to haul there freight, why factor?!?
@@truckingempire563 i just saw the video yesterday and seeing it again, but if you can help me understand about the factor what is it for and is that on rts app?
@Collie Transport LLC because not all carriers want to wait 28 to 50 days to get paid or risk not getting paid at all. Why not just pay a percentage to get paid within 3 days? And don't say quick pay because most companies charge 5% for 3 day pay and 3% for a 7 day pay which is more than my factoring company. That simple.
Just wanted to update you. Still following every single one of your videos. As planned I picked up the check today from the bank. My truck is being delivered to my house on Monday. I got a 2014 sleeper semi rig. Next I need to pickup a trailer. Beware that an 'N' rating just simply means a newer brokerage. It's too new to have a rating. I'm starting up mine now & I hope people understand this & don't just pass me by too badly. It's secured with factoring. I also think my website will stand out too.

You had great detail in this video. However, I think you can go into more depth as far as the pickup, drop off, loading and unloading. In my opinion the more detail the better. You can gain more followers while providing great information to the community. Much success to you and you've gained a new Subscriber in me.
And who are you?
