DM Business Inquires!
Don’t listen to negative comments. I owned a truck in Germany, it’s always a good thing to be your own boss. Stay up and driving!
Exactly brother don’t listen to anybody just get in the truck and drive and make your money that’s it.
I loved Germany living there u see a bunch of opertunities to be an entrepreneur
Ehhhhhh it’s kinda good I guess
It doesn't matter if you own a big rig or a box truck... You own something that makes you money that's just what it is. I actually was regional but quit a few days ago I am done with trucks lol
@@pheezo743 even box trucks ?
I stared my journey in tinting making 175$ a week full time. Three years later was making 660$ a week full time. Right now Im making 1000$ a week full time. Been saving, gonna start my own shop and go for 1000$ a day. I was homeless once and was broke most of the time. Now doing great. Just never gave up.
Cool story, keep grinding my man ~Motivation...😎
God bless you
Tinting? As in window tinting ?
@@robertcurtis6415 yes sir. I tint car windows, I’m three weeks away from starting my own business.
Damn bro keep pushing 💯
I think it's great that people are out here trying different things and getting out of the regular rat race to try to make it. They only thing that I would try to pass on to you is that you need to figure out your Per Mile Rate. You do this by figuring out how much it costs you to move that truck 1 mile. So you have to include Fuel, Truck Note, Insurance, Freight Insurance, Maintenance Account, Driver Pay, Taxes, IFTA (if required), Tolls, Factoring, Load Boards, etc. Then you break it down to the mile, usually with no note an O/O of a semi is about $0.98 - $2.00 per mile, so that is the BARE minimum of what you need to earn.
That way, it's much easier to figure out whether a job/week's pay is worth it. Example: if it costs You $1.57 per mile to move that truck and you accepted a Dallas to Miami load paying $2,100.00 you're only making $0.02 profit per mile.
Anyways, keep your head up and your mind right because yesterday was the easiest day you had, today will be hard and tomorrow isn't promised.

I'm glad I found this video. I'm currently 20 driving boxtrucks making deliveries for Pepsi. In the middle of getting my CDL right now. People get jealous but it takes alot of hustle and work to become successful. I'd rather begin my career sooner than later. ❤
Bro well said don't let the haters get to you just keep going. I had the same problem when I first started driving.
You already got a career
Bro, I wish you the best, but be warned...
I still have my CDL, but I got out of the business after a year hauling beer. It's a great source of income if you have no wife or kids and are looking to save money.
Just don't waste your life doing it. It's long and irritating work, not to mention unhealthy. Being a fitness freak it almost killed me. Being on the road 12 hours a day had me thinking horrible thoughts; it will get to you after a while.
Also, another thing to consider. If you use your CDL and get paid (cpm), you will be denied any regular mortgage unless you have two years experience; Fannie Mae rules.
It was a painful lesson to me.
That's the truth sir
good job dont work yourself to death bro. Being young is about experiencing life dont be old and stressed cause you was focused. Timing and go at your own pace blessings bro
Hey watched your latest vid on tarping. I've been driving since I was 18 and now I'm 52. The secret to tarping is fold the front like a envelope so the sides go to the middle then the top comes down over the sides that way the wind blows over and around. Then you do the same at the back but you fold the top down and the sides go to the middle over the top that way the wind blows around it. Then to make it tight use your bungys to pull the tarp to the back before you finish doing the back. Once you've done that put rope in between the crates or pallets and pull the rope tight. if it's done right you don't need strops at all and the load won't move. Also who ever told you to twist the strops was stupid always make sure they not twisted because they will always come loose. Finally once you've done tarping strop your load but you won't have to have them as tight. I carted pallets of cheese on the back of my second truck which was a flatbed and never used strops just a tarp and rope and the load never moved.
Always take pics of your freight after loading strapped and everything. I’ve had customers damage it unloading it
Yup! Learned that the hard way
And if something is flimsy or looks like it’s about to break. Mention it to the owner, I worked moving and customers would try to blame me for those cheap particle furniture you buy at Target breaking into pieces. People don’t understand that some furniture isn’t meant to be taken down and rebuilt again. Basically just make a little video of your load all strapped and ready to go and when you get there to show there is 0 damage. People are crazy, they’ll do anything to avoid paying total. Some people will let you do all of the work and than bring something up hoping you won’t go to court for the money. You’ll be surprised how many rich people do this just to save 800 bucks or something.
Great advice

The average for any box truck “otr” is 5k weekly without weekend hrs. Typically today drivers receive 20-40% of the loads assigned to the truck. Owners/MC holders typically sort out the other functions and finanaces accrued each 7day period. Usually the owner has relationships with the brokers/dispatchers/logistics companies to ensure a steady load pool to pull work from. If the driver has to handle the maintenance, logistics as well as the sec-sec safety requirements and DOT compliance for “otr” specifics that usually leads to accidents. I usually see this being a successful dynamic within the 26ft dry van non Cdl sector or the transportation industry. However the 1man show usually rocks out for about a year until credit is no longer an option to bail out the vehicle from fleet maintenance.. (because there’s no fleet if this makes sense.. ) hard to get that load there when your trying to figure out how to re-gen your diesel exhaust! Be open minded.. be fluid.. Most States have a Social Work program where they'll pay for you to go to truck driving school. Look into it!
@Still Rising 💫 we all gon come up💯
The wisest thing that should be on every wise individuals list is to invest in different stream of income and don't depend on the government to bring in money especially now the pandemic is hitting the economy
@Thiago Maddox Expert Mrs Quinten has changed my financial status for the best. All thanks to my aunty who introduced her to me.
She is obviously the best, I invested $3,000 and i made profit of $28,000 just in 7 days.
Her success story is everywhere
I lost about $4,000 to a scammer before I was recommended to Expert Mrs Quinten financial institution and believe me she helped me recover the $4,000 and made an extra of $7,000 in the space of a week and four days.
She really made name for herself.
My guy! Keep doing your thing out there. Much inspiration in this single video. You've just confirmed my entry! Much appreciated!🛣🚛
Good job man, keep up the good work.
Keep pushing and stay safe out there. Make sure you know the protection laws out there i.e. stand your ground etc etc.
Will do!
Keep trucking my guy. Can't wait to see where things are this time next year etc.... You got this!!!
Came Back In 2024 For The Extra Motivation 🤟🏽 Keep Doing Yo Thang Brotha.
Hey man, great content. I probably helped build that truck you’re driving. I worked at the Hino truck plant here in Parkersburg, West Virginia. My job consisted of putting in pieces of the cabs trim including seat bolts and parking break handle on each truck
Yo Ozzy would you know what truck has the seats are the most comfortable ?
@@zovalentine6457 Peterbuilt probably has the most comfortable seats in my opinion but Freightliner has nice seats too
@@ItzzOzzyy man thank you bro 🙏🏽. Just got CDL and was looking at freightliners and hearing Kenworths weren’t as comfortable. Do you sell extra parts too?
@@zovalentine6457 hey man I’m just in school right now working on earning my CDL but I’ve got to experience a few different trucks. Kenworths aren’t as comfortable though
@@ItzzOzzyy oh bro. Congrats man, you’ll get through it. You’re already familiar with trucks. First 2 weeks mastering pre inspection and last week driving. Hit me if you need any help bro!
It's always great to see someone hustling and building something for themselves. Congrats and keep building.
Good to see you makin your own way and building your own business. One tip: always use gloves when you refuel. Those fuel pump handles are super filthy!!
