In this video, Jojo talks about his memories from his childhood, when he used to go to the beach in Florya with the whole family. He starts by explaining the preparations and sacrifices that his parents made to take the whole family to the beach and continues recounting how they spent their time there the whole day. In the end of the interview, he tells how the Jews started preferring the Princess’ Islands over the city- beaches and concludes with a couple of sentences, giving an overall picture of the society on the island of Heybeliada.

Siempre me pareció admirable que los Turcos que vinieron a Colombia aprendieran tan fácil el Castellano , seguramente ya hablaban el Ladino.
No, los "Turcos" eran siriolibaneses principalmente cristianos, musulmanes y judios de habla arabe, pero no judios sefardies quienes so los hispanohablantes.
Este idioma judio existia en Italia tambien y se llamaba bagito hablado en ultimo en Livorno (Toscana). En Cerdeña entonces tierra de España los judios, por lo mas orfebres, escribas, armeros, se convertieron despues del 1492 al catolicesimo, llamados asi marranos, y pasaron a el idioma sardo muy semejante al bagito. Hay tambien ahora en Cerdeña muchos apellidos sefarditas y judios: Coinu, Rubanu, Baquita, Maoddi, Melech, Tendas, Balata etc. En Cerdeña hay los descendientes de la Tribu de Levi, la tribu mas importante desaparecida, guardiane del templo (su trabajo manual era hacer carpas, todas las tribues tenian que hacer un trabajo manual) en los pueblos de la costa Oriental Central de la isla. En el pueblo de Urzulei hay una iglesia dedicada a Sant'Aaron (Sant'Aaronau) en el pueblo desaparecido de Olevani poblado por una comunidad judia, "sos cananeos" en idioma sardo, hasta el 1200 d.C. Cuando un sardo va a Istambul, "Costantinépoli" en sardo, antigua capital sarda, tras visitar "Santu Cristos" (la Divina Sabidoria) se siente como en casa visitando la judería de Balat.
