You’re a excellent educator as a absolute beginner I enjoy watching your tutorials and crocheting along with you. I appreciate your teaching style thank you so very much. Blessings 💜
I am a 68 year old wife, mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. I love to crochet and have always loved baskets of any kind. When I seen the one's you made I wanted to try it but was afraid I couldn't do it. Well I watched your video for a few minutes, and you made it look so easy! So I started one!! It was so much fun to make and you were the most excellent teacher!! Thanks to you and your video, I now have a big beautiful basket to hold my yarn!! Thank you so much!!!
You know why this basket is easy bc you explain things properly and that's amazing. Lots of crochet channels do not take the time to say which stitch you are working in or how that pattern changes. Pamela holds your hand and then it gets done and looks beautiful!! Thank you Pamela.
🤔 I've got a HEAP of mail needing a place to live. Time to whip-up a basket! Every single day I need to make a magic circle, I visit THIS VIDEO on the TV!!! I can't comment through the TV. So, wanted to let you know how much easier my life is with YOU in it! Thank you!
I’m making my tenth basket. It’s for my son’s wedding in June. They’re going to put the wedding favors in it & then my daughter-in-love can use it in their home. I’m so excited.
What a beautiful gift!!! Aren’t these baskets addictive?! I feel like Oprah giving away cars. “You get a basket! And you get a basket! “😂😂😂 Blessings to your family ❤
I absolutely love this basket 🧺 pattern. I'm not use to using 2 threads or larger hook, but I'm gonna try it. I'm 72 yrs old and been crocheting since I was 12. My Mama taught me how but that was before the new stitches or patterns so it'll be a challenge for me. Stay safe. ❤🧶☕🙏🏻❤
@lynnjaynes3452, I'm 67 and have been crocheting since I was 12. My great-grandmother taught me how to crochet. I first learned the single crochet. I taught myself everything else. And I'm still learning new stitches.
Thank you, you are a terrific teacher!! You are very thorough and you dont talk too much. You are right to the point and show and explain everything . My basket came out pretty good!
Hi Pamela, I love how you teach. You are so easy to follow because you explain and show up close where to put the stitches. Thank You for that. The Lord has blessed you with this talent. Going out tomorrow to get some yarns that match pretty and get to work on making a bunch of these. Sending hugs and love 😃💖
Pamela! Love your channel! You're the ONLY person who's actually taught me how to make the DREADED MAGIC CIRCLE 💖 Learned that magic circle in THIS VIDEO 😅 Also... I'd crocheted my first basket with you! You feel like a kind, crocheting friend. Now, when I have stuff needing a place to live - I crochet a basket! ...many baskets of different colors and sizes. PERFECT for using yarn that arrives in the color I'd ordered -- but doesn't look like the color I'd thought I'd ordered. I live in the boonies -- after a lifetime of relocating to different cities and different countries for my career - I love living in the boonies. No craft shops nearby - no Michael's, no Hobby Lobby, etc. Thank you for what you do ❣️
This is the BEST crochet video I have ever watched! The lighting and angle were PERFECT! My struggle has always been where to put the slipstitch when starting a new circular row. I could NEVER get it right but your use of the stitch marker clearly identified where to put that slip stitch. The basket is adorable! I’m excited to start making these for our charity craft fair. Thank you!
Loved how very simplified you made this video. now I believe I can make a basket. I will return again for the handle part later when I get to that point. Thank you for wonderful instructions. I wrote everything down so I can get started tomorrow, after quick house cleaning. LOL 😊🪴🫖☕🍰
Thank you so much for this video. My mother had just started teaching me to crochet then passed away. Learning to make things makes me feel closer to her.
I just love this basket pattern. I like to use my varigated yarn that I can't get to work with other patterns and two solids. They usually create really pretty baskets.
Thank you Pamela, I just made one and working on another. I'm using 2 strands of Bernat Blanket yarn, color way Gray Storm held together with an L hook. Turn out beautiful. My daughter is going to love these for her kitchen, which is the Farm House theam. I will surprise her with them. I'm making to deferent sizes. 💜🙏🤗🧶
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial!! I wasn’t feeling well today and came across your tutorial and decided to try it … OUTSTANDING 🥰 I completed my first basket 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
I loved how you had these baskets as WIP baskets on your shelf so much that I have made two and went thru my stash and found more yarn to make more. I will be redoing my crochet/sewing/canning room and I needed containers so now I will have crocheted baskets! Thank you very much!
Love the magic ring tutorial It makes it even better for me compared to how I had been making one Great basket and instructions Thank you Pamela! Have a wonderful weekend
Thank you for this tutorial. It’s been so helpful! I’m new to crocheting (2nd project after practicing chain and single crochet), and I got the basket-with-handles idea from the pattern inside the yarn, but I didn’t know how to read the pattern 😅 Your basket looks similar and I was able to follow along with you. It’s been so much fun that I’ve already made three baskets!!! :-)
U just saved my crojo. I'm burnt out on blankets at the moment. I have been needing a scrap busting project and wanted something useful. Enter the world of crochet baskets. This is going to be good place to start.
Pamela, I loved the way you explained the magic circle with your added tip. I'd suggest adding to the title of your video (in parentheses) also tutorial on magic circle. I tried the magic circle before but seeing your example really helped a lot. I'm sure other people would appreciate it also. ☺️☺️☺️🌹
10 30am brilliant tutorial I'm just starting to escalate from granny squares I found you instructions very easy to follow will use all my oddments up this way very practical

Best explanation of the magic ring, thank you! Definitely going to make the pretty baskets after I saw your storage idea and stash bust at the same time.
The baskets are so homey & charming l can't wait to make these for Christmas for my daughters & daughter in law💗Thank you for the tutorial !! Be well 🦋
I made this basket using your tutorial and I love it. You’re a great teacher as I’m a newbie. My question is if I want the basket to be bigger around how many stitches do I crochet for the handles and how many do I skip?
👋 I just found your channel this evening. What a great tutorial on how to make a basket. I have just the colors in mind. I have also subscribed to your channel and save your basket tutorial. Currently I'm making a baby blanket but the basket is next! TFS! x
Definitely will be making one! I am a lefty but your instructions are so clear and I love when the tutorials are zoomed in so I can see exactly what stitch you are crocheting in! ❤️
I had so much fun crocheting along with you on this tutorial! We both said "cool" at the same time about the handles! Haha I see a lot of gifts and baskets for me this year. Thank you so much! My basket was: teal, light blue, and purple. So pretty!
Could you tell me how you kept the bottom flat? Mine has been going all wavy and I have taken it apart twice! I started with 3 bulky weight yarns and reduced it to 2, and it still did that.
Love this I'm starting one now! My 1st one I made with ur other video u made with the color Latte. Mine turned out funny lol. To be expected my 1st time I know lol.
