- Learn how to crochet this cute basket in 3 sizes in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to make the small, medium, and large crochet baskets. These are good to store your yarn in! I'm using 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together and a size H 5 mm crochet hook.

I have to say I really enjoy watching your videos. You don't waste a lot of time chit chatting about trivial things and usually have shorter videos. I watched your video showing a certain stitch, yours was about 5 1/2 minutes long and another person's video showing the same stitch was almost 30 minutes long.

Hi, I didn't increase after round 7 bc I made the medium size basket, which is only 7 Rnds for the base. Then you just follow Donna's video as she shows you how to go up the sides.

Perfect tutorial easy to follow! thank you. I combined 1 strand of worsted weight with a jute for a stiffer basket, I did have to go up a size in the hook. Thanks again, love your patterns.

Odd question what would happen of I used two colors together?
It would produce a lovely marled effect. (You can just Google Image search Marled Yarn to see examples). If you use contrasting colors, the effect will be bright and bold (like a hot pink and a white). Or if you use similar colors but different shades (light gray + medium gray) the effect will be more subtle.

Hi I need to know how many stitches each round should have, I am pretty new in chrochte, ps I really liked your videos
Her pinned comment has a link to the pattern, but it doesn't have a stitch count, but I believe it's going in multiples of ten, increasing ten sts per round.

Hi Donna. Just stumbled across this video on making crochet baskets and FELL IN LOVE with your project. These are going to be PERFECT to make for my scrapbooking gal-friends for an upcoming retreat. Any possibility you have a pattern for an X-Small basket? Would appreciate any help you might be able to provide me for that pattern. AGAIN.....THANK YOU taking the time to share this video with us. Wonderful! The only difference between baskets is the circle part on the bottom. Each subsequent round increases the diameter of the base, so to make a smaller basket, you can either 1) use one strand of yarn with a smaller hook. that will force the whole project to become smaller in size. 2) use the 2 strands of yarn, but only do 2 or 3 rounds of the base or 3) use one strand of yarn with a smaller hook and just do the 2 or 3 rounds of the base.
