I made a log lift for mine but instead of using the ram I used a cheap winch and I can keep on splitting and a mate can lift up the heavy ones to the table , It drops into a heavy wall 50mmand I can rotate it , I've used it for pulling out blackberry bushes , quite useful. It will easily lift two large blokes , Cheers.

Excellent back saver!
Fitted something similar to my vertical log splitter, but incorporated a latch that holds the lift horizontal and let's you use it as an extra table.
